A beach hotel in Madagascar can cost $57.11 per night, while Andilana Beach Resort starts at $643 per night for 2027. That gap makes resort research worth your time.
The best beach resorts in Madagascar for 2027 include Andilana Beach Resort, Royal Andilana Resort & Spa, Anjiamarango Beach Resort, and Tao Resort Madagascar. Published prices range from $57.11 per night in Ampasindava to $643 per night at Andilana Beach Resort on Nosy Be. Use January and February 2027 listings as early booking dates, then compare rooms, locations, and reviews before you book.
The best beach resorts in Madagascar combine quiet coastlines with access to island wildlife and local culture. This guide compares the 2027 prices and resort choices currently available in research data. It also explains what each area suits best, because a beach stay on Nosy Be feels very different from beach glamping near Ambatomilo.
Andilana Beach Resort on Nosy Be starts at $643 per night for 2027, while Ampasindava beach hotels appear from $57.11 per night. These prices do not describe the same room type or service level. Dates, room choice, and resort location can change the final rate, so treat them as planning figures rather than fixed quotes.
Madagascar is a strong choice if you want more than a pool and a beach chair. You can pair an island resort with a marine reserve, a forest walk, or a national park. SafariFind connects travelers with verified tour operators, packages, and authentic reviews, which helps you compare the beach stay with the wider trip.
Quick answer: The best beach resorts in Madagascar for 2027 are mainly on Nosy Be and nearby islands. Andilana Beach Resort starts at $643 per night, while Ampasindava options start at $57.11. Choose Nosy Be for resort comfort, Ambatomilo for beach glamping, or Ile aux Nattes for a quieter island stay.
The best beach resorts in Madagascar depend on your budget, preferred setting, and plans beyond the beach. Nosy Be offers the clearest choice for resort comfort, while Ampasindava offers a lower published starting price. Ambatomilo suits travelers who want a smaller, nature-led stay rather than a large resort.
Andilana Beach Resort is the clearest high-end price reference in the 2027 research. The published starting rate is $643 per night on Nosy Be, and the final amount varies by travel dates and room type. That figure places it well above the Ampasindava starting rate, but the two listings may include different rooms and services. [1]
Nosy Be is a practical base for a beach holiday with day trips. You can look at Nosy Sakatia, Nosy Tanikely Marine Reserve, and Lokobe National Park when you build your route. The island also suits travelers who want to stay in one place and add short excursions.
Known for: a higher published nightly rate and a resort-style stay on Nosy Be.
Best for: couples, families, and travelers who want a comfortable base for island trips.
Royal Andilana Resort & Spa is listed among the leading Madagascar resort choices in the available accommodation research. The listing does not provide a fixed 2027 rate in the supplied data, so you should request a current quote for your dates. [4]
Royal Andilana makes sense for travelers comparing higher-end resorts in the same general Nosy Be market. Compare the room category, meals, transfers, and cancellation terms. A low headline rate can change once transport or meal plans enter the booking.
Known for: a resort and spa option listed among Madagascar’s leading resort choices.
Best for: travelers who value resort facilities and want a polished beach base.
Anjiamarango Beach Resort is another listed Madagascar resort option. The available research names the resort but does not state a verified 2027 price, rating, or review count. Ask for those details before treating it as a direct price match with Andilana Beach Resort. [4]
Anjiamarango is worth adding to a shortlist if you want to compare several Nosy Be area resorts. Look for clear information on beach access, airport transfers, meal plans, and activities. Those details affect value more than the room rate alone.
Known for: a beach resort option included in current Madagascar accommodation listings.
Best for: travelers who want a resort comparison rather than a single-property search.
Tao Resort Madagascar appears in the same resort selection as Royal Andilana and Anjiamarango. The supplied research does not give a 2027 nightly price, so availability must be checked for the dates you want. [4]
Tao Resort belongs on a comparison list when you want to weigh resort style against smaller lodges. Check whether the quote includes meals, boat trips, transfers, and taxes. These costs can matter during a remote island holiday.
Known for: a listed Madagascar resort choice included in current 2027 planning research.
Best for: travelers who want another resort option to compare with Nosy Be properties.
For wider planning, read this guide to Andilana Beach Madagascar packages for 2027. It helps place a beach stay within a longer island route.

Published 2027 prices range from $57.11 per night in Ampasindava to $643 per night at Andilana Beach Resort. The figures show a large budget gap, but they do not create a perfect like-for-like comparison. Room type, dates, meals, transfers, and resort services can all change the final price.
| Name | Price | Duration | Rating | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Andilana Beach Resort | From $643 per night | Nightly rate | Not provided | Higher-end Nosy Be resort stays |
| Ampasindava beach hotels | From $57.11 per night | Nightly rate | 9.0/10 displayed guest rating | Lower-cost beach accommodation |
| Royal Andilana Resort & Spa | Quote required | Quote required | Not provided | Resort and spa travelers |
| Anjiamarango Beach Resort | Quote required | Quote required | Not provided | Beach resort comparisons |
| Tao Resort Madagascar | Quote required | Quote required | Not provided | Travelers comparing resort styles |
Ampasindava beach hotels were listed from $57.11 per night, with a displayed guest rating of 9.0 out of 10. The same listing included January 2027 and February 2027 booking dates. This makes Ampasindava useful for early budget research, but you still need to confirm the exact room and cancellation terms. [2]
Andilana Beach Resort sits in a different price bracket at $643 per night. The research summary states that dates and room type affect the price. Therefore, compare the total stay cost rather than multiplying the headline rate without checking the booking details. [1]
Beach resort prices can cover different things. Ask each property or operator to list the same items in writing. That simple step prevents many false comparisons.
Madagascar has a wide range of beach accommodation styles. The available destination research lists Ile aux Nattes, Ambatomilo, Majunga, Nosy Be, and Anjajavy as beach areas. It also describes Mikea Lodge as beach glamping in Ambatomilo and Mamirano Lodge as a rustic ecolodge there. [3]
Request a quote from verified operators when your dates are fixed, then compare the full 2027 trip cost rather than the room rate alone. SafariFind lets you review packages and operator information in one place.
Compare verified Madagascar tour operators for your 2027 beach budget and ask which transfers and meals each quote includes.
The best beach area depends on the type of trip you want. Choose Nosy Be for resort choice and island excursions, Ampasindava for a lower listed starting price, Ambatomilo for beach glamping, or Anjajavy for a beach stay near a protected natural area.
Nosy Be is the strongest choice for travelers who want several resort options in one island region. Andilana Beach Resort, Royal Andilana Resort & Spa, Anjiamarango Beach Resort, and Tao Resort Madagascar all appear in the available research. [1][4]
Nosy Be also works well for travelers who dislike changing hotels every few nights. Use it as a base for marine trips and forest excursions. The SafariFind catalog includes destination pages for Nosy Sakatia, Nosy Tanikely, and Lokobe, which can help you shape day trips around your beach stay.
Ampasindava is the strongest budget reference in the current data. Beach hotel listings start at $57.11 per night, and the displayed guest rating is 9.0 out of 10. January and February 2027 dates already appear in the listing, so this area is useful when you want to test early-year availability. [2]
Do not assume the lowest rate includes the same service as a full resort. Check the distance to the beach, food options, transfers, and activities. A cheaper room can cost more if every excursion requires a long transfer.
Ambatomilo offers a different feel from a large resort. Mikea Lodge is described as beach glamping, while Mamirano Lodge is described as a rustic ecolodge. [3] These stays suit travelers who care more about setting and a quiet pace than spa facilities.
Ambatomilo is a good choice for a short nature-focused beach stop. Ask how the lodge handles transfers and meals before booking. Remote locations often need more careful planning than a resort area.
Anjajavy Beach is described as being at the edge of Anjajavy National Park. [6] That makes the area attractive to travelers who want a beach stay linked with a protected natural setting.
Anjajavy should appeal to travelers who prefer a lodge experience over a busy resort strip. Confirm transport times, room availability, and the activities included in your quote. The supplied research does not provide a fixed 2027 room price.
Ile aux Nattes is listed among Madagascar’s beach-accommodation destinations. [3] It suits travelers who want an island stay outside the main Nosy Be comparison. Majunga is another listed beach destination, while the SafariFind catalog also includes Nosy Iranja and Nosy Komba for route planning.
For a mixed trip, consider linking the coast with Andasibe-Mantadia National Park, Ranomafana National Park, or Isalo National Park. Madagascar rewards travelers who leave space for travel days. A rushed route can turn a peaceful beach stay into a tiring transfer plan.
Start by choosing the coast, travel dates, and stay length. Then compare the total price, not only the nightly rate. For 2027, early research is sensible because January and February availability already appears in Ampasindava listings, while Andilana Beach Resort has a published starting rate of $643 per night.
Madagascar is easier to enjoy when you avoid packing too many regions into one trip. A beach stay on Nosy Be can pair with Lokobe, Nosy Tanikely, Nosy Sakatia, or Nosy Komba. A wider route can include Andasibe-Mantadia, Ranomafana, or Isalo, depending on your time and transport plan.
Travelers who want a rainforest stop can review the 2027 Andasibe-Mantadia safari itinerary guide. Travelers planning the south can compare lodges near Isalo National Park. These routes show why a resort price should be judged within the whole holiday budget.
A resort with a higher room rate may reduce extra costs if meals, transfers, and activities are included. A lower room rate may work better when you want simple accommodation and independent day trips. Ask for a written breakdown before you pay a deposit.
If snorkeling is a priority, compare the dedicated Ifaty snorkeling packages for 2027. If you want a beach-focused route, the Ifaty beach package guide gives another comparison point beyond the northern islands.

The leading listed choices include Andilana Beach Resort, Royal Andilana Resort & Spa, Anjiamarango Beach Resort, and Tao Resort Madagascar. Andilana has a published starting rate of $643 per night, while the other named resorts need date-specific quotes. [1][4]
Published prices range from $57.11 per night in Ampasindava to $643 per night at Andilana Beach Resort on Nosy Be. These figures are not identical room types, so compare meals, transfers, taxes, and cancellation terms before booking. [1][2]
Ampasindava is the strongest lower-cost reference in the available 2027 data. Listings start at $57.11 per night, and a displayed guest rating is 9.0 out of 10. Confirm your exact dates and room type before treating the rate as available. [2]
Nosy Be is a strong choice for travelers who want resort options and island day trips. The area includes listed choices such as Andilana Beach Resort, Royal Andilana Resort & Spa, Anjiamarango Beach Resort, and Tao Resort Madagascar. [1][4]
Beach glamping combines a coastal setting with a more nature-focused lodge stay. Mikea Lodge in Ambatomilo is described as beach glamping, while Mamirano Lodge is described as a rustic ecolodge in the same area. [3]
Use SafariFind to compare packages, request quotes from verified tour operators, and read authentic traveler reviews. Check the full price for your 2027 dates, including transfers, meals, activities, and cancellation terms.

"From start to finish, this tour was an unforgettable experience. When enquiring about planning this trip ,Tony was very responsive, informative and. answered all our questions as we went along .When my suitcase didn't arrive in Madagascar Tony sorted it for me and negotiated with the airline on my behalf, going above and beyond and was very much appreciated Our guides were all knowledgeable, friendly, and punctual and clearly passionate about what they do, which made the whole trip both fun and informative. The itinerary was perfectly balanced — we saw all the major highlights without ever feeling rushed, and there were plenty of opportunities to take photos, ask questions, and just soak up the atmosphere. The transportation was comfortable, everything ran smoothly and on time, and as it was a private tour we were able to spend as little or as much time at each place as we chose. Every stop had something unique to offer, and the insider stories and local tips really brought the culture to life. It’s rare to find a tour that gets every detail right, but this one truly did, guides were on time , transfers were smooth, everything was flexible to our wishes. Hugh thanks to Tony, Sidney, Princee and Nico. The drivers were all awesome and we always felt safe despite some roads been very African massage- bumpy ! We left with amazing memories, beautiful photos, and a much deeper appreciation for the country. I’d recommend it to anyone looking for an authentic and enjoyable experience. We would do it again in a heartbeat!"

"We have recently finished a 10 day tour of Madagascar in April 2025 using the operator “Madagascar Natural Tours” from start to finish it almost felt too good to be true, I have never met any one else from Australia who has been to Madagascar so we were very hesitant in whether it would be safe and had no idea how to organise a holiday there or what to expect. Harilala was extremely professional and communicative the entire way and answered every single (too many) questions of ours and made us feel comfortable and excited. He planned our itinerary just perfectly we listed a couple of things we had wanted to see - baobab avenue, lemurs and Nosy Be. He organised our whole itinerary, accomodation and flights for us so that it flowed seamlessly. He provided options in accomodation as we were seeking honeymoon style resorts. The hotels that he booked were beautiful, clean, great food and lovely staff! We had a few internal flights in our itinerary and it was so nice stepping off the plane and trusting that there would be a guide there waiting for us to get us to our hotel. The few times during our stay we had a question regarding our tour, Harilala would reply to our messages almost immediately and paid very careful attention to ensure we were happy and getting the most out of our tour. Using Madagascar Natural Tours took all stress out of the holiday / planning and allowed us to just show up and make memories of a lifetime! I would highly recommend this company to anybody curious to explore Madagascar! Particularly if you do not speak French, we struggled with the language barrier however all guides had amazing English which was such a relief. We can’t wait to come back in a few years time!!"
