Embark on the ultimate 8 day Tanzania safari adventure, a comprehensive Northern Circuit expedition that takes you through three of Africa’s most celebrated national parks. Starting in Arusha, you’ll journey deep into the wilderness of Tarangire National Park, across the endless plains of the Serengeti, and down into the awe-inspiring bowl of the Ngorongoro Crater.
This safari is built around the legendary Great Wildebeest Migration, one of the most spectacular natural phenomena on Earth. From August to October, more than 1.5 million wildebeest, zebra, and gazelle thunder across the Serengeti’s Mara River in a breathtaking spectacle that attracts wildlife lovers from around the globe. During this season, the Serengeti’s Mara area transforms into an unrivalled wildlife paradise, with lion prides of up to 30 individuals and predators patrolling the surrounding plains.
Combined with Tarangire’s legendary elephant herds and giant baobab trees, as well as the Ngorongoro Crater’s dense concentration of around 30,000 animals, including some of Tanzania’s last remaining black rhinos, this 8-day itinerary offers a complete and unforgettable Tanzania safari experience.

Your Tanzania adventure begins the moment you land at Kilimanjaro International Airport. Your dedicated Wildflip Safaris driver and guide will be waiting to welcome you with a warm greeting and transfer you directly to Amani Safari Lodge in Arusha, a comfortable and welcoming base for the expedition ahead.
Depending on your arrival time, you will be treated to a hot lunch at the lodge. The afternoon is yours to unwind, freshen up, and take a short stroll around the vibrant city of Arusha, the safari capital of East Africa. Soak in the local colour, visit the nearby market, or simply relax in the beautiful lodge gardens as the excitement of your upcoming adventure builds.
As the sun sets over Mount Meru on the horizon, enjoy a welcome dinner at the lodge and an early evening briefing with your guide about the extraordinary days ahead.
