About this safari
The 7-Day Gorillas and Savannah Safari offers an adventure to Kibale National Park, the world's primate capital, where you can track chimpanzees and numerous other primates. Additionally, you'll explore Queen Elizabeth National Park with its array of game drives and a boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel. The journey also includes a visit to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, renowned for mountain gorilla trekking, and Lake Mburo.

On arrival, you will be picked by a verdoro safaris guide/drive who will transfer you to kibale national park you will begin your Gorillas and Savannah Safari as you are transferred west through tea plantations and rolling hills to reach Fort Portal town where you will have an en-route lunch before proceeding to Kibale National Park.

After an early breakfast, you will be transferred to the Uganda Wildlife Authority park headquarters where you will be briefed before embarking on your trek of the exciting chimps in Kibale Forest. Once you’ve found your group of chimpanzees, you will spend one hour with them, observing their humorous hand gestures and facial expressions, their ear-piercing squeals and their death-defying leaps through the trees.
After trekking, you will leave the rainforest and drive south following the Rwenzori Mountain chain to reach the savannah plains of Queen Elizabeth National Park with an en route stop at the equator line for lunch. On arrival at Queen Elizabeth National Park, you will take an evening game drive through the explosion crater-lake fields expecting to spot a variety of species such as elephants, Uganda kob, bushbuck and troops of baboon.
