Arusha • Shoki Shoki Lodge
Your safari adventure begins upon arrival in Arusha, a vibrant town located at the foot of Mount Meru. After landing, you will be warmly welcomed and transferred to your lodge or hotel, where you can relax after your journey.
Arusha offers a peaceful atmosphere surrounded by lush greenery, coffee plantations, and cool highland air. This first day is intentionally relaxed to help you recover from travel fatigue and adjust to the African environment.
Depending on your arrival time, you may spend the afternoon resting at the lodge, enjoying the gardens, or simply taking in the views of Mount Meru. In the evening, your professional safari guide will meet you for a detailed briefing. During this session, you will be introduced to the safari route, wildlife expectations, park regulations, and daily schedules.
This preparation helps ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for the days ahead, as you move from town life into the wilderness of Tanzania’s national parks.
