Arrival at the Airport & Transfer to Arusha

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro/ Arusha Airport, you will be welcomed by your private guide. After introductions, you will head straight to your accommodation in Arusha for an overnight reminiscence of the adventure ahead.

Arusha - Tarangire National park

Karatu • Marera Valley Lodge

After breakfast, we depart for Tarangire National Park. The park is named after the Tarangire River, which flows through its heart and serves as a vital lifeline, especially during the dry season when it becomes an important refuge for wildlife, most notably elephants.

Characterized by massive baobab trees, sweeping plains, and lush riverine corridors, Tarangire is famous for its impressive elephant herds, offering a wild and authentic safari experience. The park is also a birdwatcher’s paradise, with over 500 recorded species. Other wildlife often seen on game drives includes lions, leopards, cheetahs, hyenas, wildebeest, and more.

Enjoy a full-day game drive with a picnic lunch. Following a day of adventure, you’ll head straight to your accommodation for dinner and an overnight stay.
