About this safari
Discover Kenya on a 5-day private safari from Nairobi to Amboseli National Park, Lake Naivasha and Maasai Mara National Reserve for 200 USD per person. Pick-up and drop-off in Nairobi, private transport in a 4x4 safari Land Cruiser, and a professional English-speaking safari driver-guide make it easy to explore the country’s varied landscapes and wildlife. Begin in Amboseli beneath Mount Kilimanjaro, a remarkable setting for private game drives and close observation of elephants. Search for elephants, lions, leopards, cheetahs, buffaloes and rhinos while exploring one of Kenya’s best-known wildlife destinations. The journey continues through the Great Rift Valley to scenic Lake Naivasha, where a boat trip reveals a different perspective on the lake and its surroundings. A guided walking safari on Crescent Island adds an active nature experience, with time to enjoy the island on foot. Optional cycling and hiking are available in Hell's Gate National Park. Continue to Maasai Mara National Reserve, home of the Big Five and one of Kenya’s most celebrated wildlife areas. Game viewing here offers opportunities to search for elephants, lions, leopards, cheetahs, buffaloes and rhinos. If you travel between July and October, the itinerary also provides the chance to witness the Great Wildebeest Migration. Your safari begins with a morning pick-up from your hotel, residence, or Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in Nairobi.
Meet your Trek Afrika Adventures driver-guide and depart in a private 4x4 safari Land Cruiser towards Amboseli National Park.
The journey follows the Nairobi–Mombasa Highway through beautiful countryside before arriving at Amboseli in time for lunch.
After checking into your lodge or tented camp, enjoy your first afternoon game drive.
Amboseli is famous for its large elephant herds and breathtaking views of Mount Kilimanjaro. The park is also home to lions, cheetahs, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, hyenas, and many bird species.
As the day comes to an end, return to your lodge for dinner and your overnight stay.
