Your Tanzania safari begins with an early morning pickup from your lodge in Arusha. After meeting your professional safari guide, you will travel to Tarangire National Park, a beautiful wilderness known for its impressive elephant herds, ancient baobab trees, and diverse landscapes.
Upon arrival, enjoy a full game drive through the park, exploring open savannahs, seasonal swamps, and woodland areas while keeping an eye out for wildlife. Tarangire is home to elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffaloes, and numerous antelope species. With a little luck, you may also spot lions resting in the shade or a leopard hidden among the branches.
A picnic lunch will be served during the day's adventure, allowing you to enjoy the natural surroundings before continuing your wildlife exploration.
In the late afternoon, you will leave the park and drive to Kankari Lodge. Settle into your accommodation, enjoy dinner, and relax as you prepare for the exciting days ahead.
