Your safari begins with an early morning departure from Arusha to Lake Manyara National Park, a scenic drive of approximately 2–3 hours (120 km). Nestled at the base of the Great Rift Valley escarpment, the park offers a compact yet diverse safari experience with lush groundwater forests, open plains, and the shimmering alkaline lake.
Upon arrival, you will enjoy a full-day game drive with picnic lunch inside the park. Wildlife highlights include elephants, giraffes, baboons, hippos, and the famous tree-climbing lions. The lake also attracts thousands of flamingos and over 500 bird species.
In the late afternoon, you will continue to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
