This 4-day 2026 Northern Circuit safari packs Tanzania’s most iconic landscapes into one high-impact journey. Starting from Arusha, you’ll visit Tarangire, famous for its massive elephant herds and baobab trees, before descending into the prehistoric Ngorongoro Crater. In morning, leave Arusha for Tarangire National Park, and arrive in Tarangire just before noon and start the game drive in the park.
Tarangire National Park is famous for baobab trees and huge herds of elephants. In the afternoon, stop for picnic lunch in the picnic site in the park. After having the picnic lunch, enjoy the game viewing in the park till the end of the day. In the evening, leave the park for Karatu, dinner and overnight at Marera Valley Lodge or similar lodge, full board included.
