About this safari

This 4-day 2026 Northern Circuit safari packs Tanzania’s most iconic landscapes into one high-impact journey. Starting from Arusha, you’ll visit Tarangire, famous for its massive elephant herds and baobab trees, before descending into the prehistoric Ngorongoro Crater. The adventure culminates with an immersive stay in the Serengeti, offering front-row seats to the Big Five and the Great Migration.

With full-board stays at Marera Valley Lodge and Serengeti Tukaone Camp, this package balances rugged adventure with professional comfort.

Day-by-day Itinerary

Arusha – Tarangire Park

Tarangire National Park • Marera Valley Lodge

In morning, leave Arusha for Tarangire National Park, and arrive in Tarangire just before noon and start the game drive in the park.

Tarangire National Park is famous for baobab trees and huge herds of elephants. In the afternoon, stop for picnic lunch in the picnic site in the park. After having the picnic lunch, enjoy the game viewing in the park till the end of the day. In the evening, leave the park for Karatu, dinner and overnight at Marera Valley Lodge or similar lodge, full board included.

Ngorongoro Crater.

Ngorongoro Crater • Tukaone Tented Camp

Early in the morning after breakfast, leave the lodge and drive to Ngorongoro Conservation Area. When you arrive in Ngorongoro, you will descend into the Crater floor for the crater tour. In the Crater, you may have a chance to view all the big five land mammals and other mammals. In the afternoon, you stop for picnic lunch in the picnic site inside the Crater. After lunch, leave the Crater and drive to Serengeti national park. You are expected to arrive in Serengeti in the evening and check in the lodge/camp, dinner and overnight at Serengeti Tukaone Camp or similar camp, full board included.
