This extraordinary 12-day safari is perfectly timed to witness one of the most breathtaking wildlife spectacles on earth, the wildebeest calving season in Tanzania’s Ndutu plains. Between January and March, over 500,000 wildebeest calves are born in a matter of weeks, drawing the full cast of Africa’s predators into one of nature’s most dramatic scenes.
From the elephant-packed corridors of Tarangire National Park and the calving spectacle of Ndutu, to the timeless wilderness of the Serengeti and the world-famous Ngorongoro Crater, this is Tanzania at its most magnificent. The journey also includes an immersive cultural experience with the Hadzabe hunter-gatherers at Lake Eyasi and a guided tour through Mto wa Mbu village.
