Upon arrival at Maun Airport, guests will be warmly welcomed by our guide, Fred, who will assist with luggage and provide a short introduction to the journey ahead. From Maun, travel by open game viewer vehicle toward the edge of the Okavango Delta, passing through local villages, floodplains, and changing landscapes that offer the first glimpse into Botswana’s wilderness experience.
Arriving at Boro Boat Station, guests will board a motorized boat and begin an unforgettable journey deeper into the waterways of the Okavango Delta. The boat transfer offers excellent opportunities to spot birdlife, hippos, crocodiles, and other wildlife along the channels as the scenery transforms into a remote and untouched wetland paradise.
Upon arrival at Camp Hippo, settle into camp and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of the surrounding wilderness. As the sun begins to set, relax beside the fire, listen to the sounds of the Delta, and prepare for the adventure ahead.
