About this safari
This 3-day safari offers a perfect introduction to Tanzania’s northern circuit, combining three iconic destinations in one compact adventure. You’ll begin in Tarangire National Park, renowned for its vast elephant herds, towering baobab trees, and diverse birdlife. On Day 2, you’ll descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site often called the “Eighth Wonder of the World,” where the Big Five roam freely in one of Africa’s most unique ecosystems. Finally, on Day 3, you’ll explore Lake Manyara National Park, famous for its tree-climbing lions, large troops of baboons, and flocks of flamingos along the soda lake, before returning to Arusha.

Depart Arusha in the morning by 4WD Land Cruiser and drive to Tarangire National Park. Famous for its ancient baobab trees and large elephant herds, Tarangire offers a classic safari experience with diverse wildlife including lions, zebras, wildebeest, giraffes, and over 500 bird species.
Enjoy a picnic lunch in the park followed by an afternoon game drive. In the late afternoon, transfer to your lodge in Karatu for dinner and overnight stay.
