Your safari begins with an early morning pickup from your accommodation in Arusha. Meet your professional safari guide and set off towards the Southern Serengeti and the Ndutu area, travelling through the beautiful landscapes of northern Tanzania. Packed lunch boxes will be provided for the journey.
Upon arrival, begin your first game drive across the open grasslands and seasonal plains, searching for the magnificent herds of wildebeest and zebras that make this region famous. The area is also home to resident wildlife, including elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, and a variety of predators.
During the migration season, Ndutu offers remarkable opportunities to observe the relationship between the migrating herds and the predators that follow them. January and February are especially exciting months, when large numbers of wildebeest give birth across the short-grass plains, attracting lions, cheetahs, and hyenas.
As the afternoon unfolds, continue exploring the area with your guide, taking time to appreciate the scenery and photograph wildlife in its natural habitat.
Later in the day, drive to your tented camp in the Ndutu area for dinner and an overnight stay. Enjoy the unique atmosphere of the African wilderness, where the sights and sounds of nature surround your camp.
