About this safari

Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) or Arusha Airport, where you will be warmly greeted by our friendly Acatree Tours and Safaris representative. After a short briefing, settle comfortably into your safari vehicle and enjoy a scenic transfer to Arusha, the vibrant safari capital of Tanzania.
Spend the afternoon on a guided Arusha town tour, exploring the city’s lively markets, cultural landmarks, and unique local art. Visit highlights such as the Maasai Market, the renowned Cultural Heritage Centre, and the tranquil Arusha Coffee Lodge, where you can savor a fresh cup of Tanzanian coffee.
After the tour, depart Arusha and drive to Karatu, a picturesque town surrounded by lush highlands near the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Upon arrival, check in at your lodge and enjoy a relaxing evening preparing for your upcoming safari adventure.
