Day 1: Arusha – Tarangire National Park – Lodge
You will be picked up from your hotel in Arusha after breakfast by your professional driver-guide. After a short safari briefing, you will begin your journey to Tarangire National Park with your packed lunch boxes. The drive takes you through scenic landscapes, local villages, and open plains. Upon arrival at the park, entry formalities will be completed before starting your game drive.
Tarangire National Park is well known for its large elephant population and iconic baobab trees, offering a classic African safari experience.
The Tarangire River is the main water source in the park and attracts many animals, making it one of the best areas for wildlife viewing. You will enjoy your packed lunch at a designated picnic site within the park, surrounded by nature and sometimes with wildlife nearby.
After lunch, continue with a game drive exploring different areas of the park. Your guide will help you spot wildlife and share information about the ecosystem and animal behavior. Later, you will exit the park and drive to your lodge in Karatu area for dinner and overnight
