About this safari
Embark to Mikumi National Park. This park was established in 1964 covers an area of 1,070 square kilometers. It was later extended in 1975 to cover the current area of 3,230 square kilometers. Mikumi National Park is sharing a common border and ecosystem with Nyerere NP (Formerly Selous Game Reserve) to the south. The park is the sixth-largest national park in Tanzania and the most accessible from Dar es Salaam throughout the year.

Your driver will pick you up from your location at 08:00am and take you to the Dar es Salaam SGR Station. You will board an electric train to Morogoro Town, which departs at 09:30am and arrives at 11:20am. Upon your arrival at the Morogoro train station, you will meet your driver and begin the journey to Mikumi National Park, approximately a one-and-a-half-hour drive away.
Arrive for hot lunch inside the park followed by game drive until sunset.
