About this safari
This 2-Day Luxury Safari to Tarangire and Ngorongoro from Zanzibar offers a short yet unforgettable wildlife experience in Northern Tanzania. Your adventure begins with a flight from Zanzibar to Arusha airport, followed by a scenic game drive in Tarangire National Park, famous for its large elephant herds, ancient baobab trees and diverse wildlife.
On the second day, you will descend into the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its incredible diversity of animals. Here you may encounter lions, elephants, buffalos, zebras and (if you're lucky) the endangered black rhino, while enjoying breathtaking views of the crater landscape.

You will be transferred from your hotel in Zanzibar to the airport, where you will fly into Arusha airport. Upon arrival in Arusha, you will be warmly welcomed by your professional driver-guide and begin your journey toward Tarangire National Park. This beautiful park is known for its large elephant herds and iconic baobab trees. The drive will take you through scenic landscapes and local villages before entering the park.
Once inside, you will enjoy an exciting game drive across the savannah plains and along the Tarangire River, where many animals gather to drink. You may spot elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests and various antelope species, as well as predators such as lions. The park is also rich in birdlife, making it a great destination for bird enthusiasts. You will stop for a picnic lunch inside the park, before continuing with the days game drive.
After the game drive, you will be transferred to Escarpment Luxury Lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
