2-Day 1 night Adventure to mikumi National park by SGR

Mikumi National Park is Tanzania's fourth-largest national park and the most accessible from Dar es Salaam. Located in the Morogoro region, it lies between the stunning Uluguru Mountains. The park is home to a diverse range of wildlife, including lions, elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, leopards, hippos, crocodiles, and more. Here, you’ll have the chance to spot four of the Big Five.

Day 1 .Dar Es Salaam to Mikumi National Park

We will pick you up from the airport, hotel, or ferry terminal and transfer you to the train station for your journey to Morogoro. The train ride takes approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes. Upon arrival, our driver will meet you and continue the trip towards Mikumi National Park, which is about a 2-hour drive.

After arriving at Mikumi National Park, you will enjoy lunch and have a short time to relax before heading out for an afternoon game drive.

Mikumi National Park is Tanzania’s fourth-largest and one of the most accessible parks from Dar es Salaam. Covering 3,230 sq km, it lies between the Uluguru Mountains to the north and the Lumango Mountains to the southeast. The park is home to a diverse range of wildlife, including buffaloes, giraffes, elephants, lions, pythons, zebras, leopards, crocodiles, and many more species.

Day 2

Morning–Afternoon Game Drive & Return to Dar

We will begin with an early morning game drive in Mikumi National Park, returning to the hotel for a late breakfast at 10:00 AM. After relaxing, you will have lunch at 1:00 PM.

After lunch, we will start the drive back to Morogoro to catch the 4:00 PM train to Dar es Salaam. Upon arrival in Dar es Salaam, you will be dropped off at your hotel or at the airport for your flight to Zanzibar or back home.
