1-Day Trip to Tarangire National Park

We will pick you up from your hotel at 7 AM, where you’ll meet your guide and begin your journey to Tarangire National Park, approximately a 1 hour and 45-minute drive from Arusha. Once in the park, you’ll embark on a game drive, with routes determined by recent wildlife sightings. We’ll focus on areas where predators such as lions, cheetahs, and leopards are often spotted. In addition, the park is rich with herbivores, including giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, impalas, and more.

Around midday, you’ll head to the Tarangire River picnic site for lunch with a view. Overlooking the river and surrounding plains, it’s a perfect spot to relax and enjoy the scenery, just watch out for the cheeky monkeys and baboons, who may try to sneak a bite of your meal (harmless, but amusing!). After lunch, you’ll continue with an afternoon game drive, making the most of the park’s wildlife before exiting around 4:30 PM to begin your journey back to Arusha.
