About this safari
Enjoy a half-day escape from Nairobi to the scenic Lake Naivasha. Take a boat ride to spot hippos, water birds, and other wildlife, then explore Crescent Island on a guided walking safari among giraffes, zebras, and impalas. Optionally, visit the Elsamere Conservation Centre, the former home of Joy Adamson, before returning to Nairobi.

We will pick you up from your Nairobi hotel and drive to Lake Naivasha, a freshwater lake in the Great Rift Valley. Upon arrival, you will take a boat ride on the lake to see hippos, water birds, and other wildlife.
Next, you will visit Crescent Island, a private sanctuary, for a guided walking tour among giraffes, zebras, impalas, and other herbivores. You may also choose to visit the Elsamere Conservation Centre, the former home of Joy Adamson, author of Born Free.
After the activities, you will be returned to your hotel in Nairobi in the late afternoon.
