About this safari
We enter Hluhluwe-iMfolozi Park through either of two gates. Nyalazi Gate from St Lucia or through Memorial Gate from Hluhluwe (Lodges in Hluhluwe town and the Bushlands area only) and are happy to pick you up and drop you off again at your accommodation. If you have alternate travel plans and are "self driving", we can even meet you at the entry gate that is best suited to you.
Join us for a full day, professionally guided open vehicle safari into the oldest "Big 5" park in Africa and as far as we're concerned, the most spectacular game reserve in all of South Africa. There are no guarantees, because nature does what nature does and we delight in everything morther nature delivers on the day! The rate includes your entry fees and park levies, a complimentary sunrise coffee & rusks, a pre-packed breakfast, a traditionalSouth African lunch "braai" (BBQ) and of course your very experienced, professional nature guide for the day!

Your guide will pick you up from your accommodation at the pre-arranged time or meet you at the gate you select. After your guide has completed some formalities (Indemnity Form signed & Safety Briefing done), you are on your way to either Memorial Gate (about 20-25 minutes from Hluhluwe) or Nyalazi Gate (about an hours drive from St Lucia)...once the entry fees are paid you are off into a day full of excitement and expectation, searching and appreciating all that this great park has to offer. A sunrise coffee & rusks, then breakfast soon after at an open picnic site in the park, with a longer stop for lunch in the park.
