Nandi Adventures

Nandi Adventures is a Uganda-based boutique safari operator founded in 2018, specialising in private, tailor-made journeys across Uganda, Rwanda, Kenya and Tanzania. We are first and foremost Uganda specialists, with particular expertise in mountain gorilla trekking, chimpanzee tracking, wildlife safaris, birding, private fly-in journeys, family safaris and thoughtfully designed East African combinations. Our mission is to create journeys that feel personal rather than packaged. We believe an exceptional safari is not measured by how much can be fitted into each day, but by the quality of the experiences, the people you meet and the time you have to appreciate where you are. Every journey is therefore designed around the individual traveller — their interests, pace, comfort and reasons for coming to Africa. What makes Nandi Adventures different is our combination of local presence, personal service and thoughtful planning. We are a boutique, owner-led company based in Uganda, not a distant booking platform. Our team understands the realities of travelling here: the roads, seasons, parks, permits, lodge locations and the small logistical decisions that can transform a good itinerary into an exceptional one. We favour sensible routing, longer stays where they add value and domestic flights when they meaningfully improve comfort and travel time. Our safaris are private and tailor-made rather than fixed departures. We work with experienced local guides and carefully selected lodges, combining Uganda's extraordinary primate experiences with classic wildlife, landscapes and genuine connections to place. Responsible travel is part of how we operate, not an add-on. Nandi Adventures is licensed by the Uganda Tourism Board, is a member of the Association of Uganda Tour Operators and holds Travelife Partner status. Whether you are planning your first African safari, returning for a deeper exploration, travelling as a couple or family, or combining Uganda with the great wildlife regions of East Africa, our aim is simple: to create a seamless journey that feels genuinely yours. By People. For You. With Locals.
