Destiny Ethiopia Tour and Travel Agency

Destiny Ethiopia Tour and Travel is a locally owned tour operator based in Addis Ababa, founded by Simegn Gezahegn Tolossa ("Dagiye"), a former local guide from Arba Minch with a background in hospitality. We started the company to offer what we felt was missing in Ethiopian tourism: honest advice, reliable service and no overpromising. We design private and small-group journeys across Ethiopia, from the rock-hewn churches of Lalibela, the castles of Gondar and the Simien Mountains to the cultures of the Omo Valley and the lakes and wildlife around Arba Minch. Every trip is tailor-made and led by knowledgeable local guides in each destination, with our team on hand from first enquiry to airport drop-off. Our mission is to share the simple, wild and true Ethiopia while supporting the communities we visit. We treat guests as family, are a member of the Talak Ethiopian Tour Operators Association (TETOA), and are working towards Travelife sustainability certification.
