A $10 park entry fee makes Zinave one of Mozambique’s lower-cost safari options, but guided tracking raises the daily price to about $150–$250.
Zinave National Park safari prices in 2027 are about $150–$250 per person per day for a tracking experience with a guide and park fees. The park entry fee is listed at $10 per person. July to September is the recommended period for specialist tracking walks, and advance booking with a certified guide is required. [2]
Zinave National Park Safari Prices 2027: Fees & Booking depend on the activity, guide, season, and travel plan. A published travel estimate places a guided Zinave tracking experience at $150–$250 per person per day. That figure includes a guide and park fees. The listed park entry fee is $10 per person. [2]
Zinave National Park is a remote wildlife destination in Mozambique. It suits travelers who value wild landscapes and small-group experiences. It is not a high-volume park with a large choice of daily departures. Therefore, your first step should be checking guide availability for your dates.
Quick answer: A Zinave safari in 2027 costs about $150–$250 per person per day for guided tracking. July through September is the recommended season for specialist walks. You must reserve ahead and use a certified guide. Ask the operator to confirm transport, accommodation, meals, permits, and the $10 entry fee before payment. [2]
This guide explains the known price range, what the fee may cover, and how to plan. It also separates published facts from items that need a direct quote. That distinction matters because a daily tracking price is not automatically a complete safari package.
Zinave National Park safari pricing is the cost of entering the park and joining a guided wildlife experience in 2027. The clearest published estimate is $150–$250 per person per day. It includes a guide and park fees, while the park entry fee is listed separately as $10 per person in the same travel information. [2]
Zinave National Park is part of Mozambique’s wider conservation story. In February 2016, Mozambique’s National Administration of Conservation Areas, known as ANAC, signed a memorandum of understanding with Licoturismo. The agreement connected to the Greater Libombos Conservancy. [1]
The Greater Libombos Conservancy was described as the first privately owned area included in the Great Limpopo Transfrontier Conservation Area. This detail gives Zinave a wider regional context. The park belongs to a landscape where conservation groups and tourism partners work across borders and protected areas. [1]
Zinave National Park is known for guided wildlife experiences rather than a fixed list of guaranteed sightings. A published Mozambique wildlife guide names elephants, zebras, and antelopes among the animals visitors may encounter in Zinave. [3] Another travel source notes possible wild dog and lion sightings in recovering Mozambican parks, but these sightings are not guaranteed. [4]
Wildlife restocking and conservation programs are also helping increase animal numbers in Mozambique’s reserves, according to a 2027 Mozambique–Kruger safari itinerary. [7] That recovery makes conservation progress an important part of the Zinave story. It also means visitors should set realistic expectations and respect park rules.
The $150–$250 estimate gives you a useful starting point. However, it does not prove that every 2027 safari package includes airport transfers, road transport, lodging, meals, drinks, insurance, or private vehicle use. Those items can change the final cost.
SafariFind connects travelers with verified tour operators who can clarify inclusions. Compare Zinave and Mozambique safari packages for 2027 before choosing a route, guide, or travel date.
Zinave is best for travelers who want a quieter park and a guided tracking focus. It is also suitable for visitors who want to support conservation areas that are rebuilding wildlife populations. Travelers seeking a broad first-time safari may compare Zinave with the Mozambique National Park safari options for 2027.
Zinave National Park safari fees start with a listed $10 entry fee per person. A guided tracking experience costs about $150–$250 per person per day, including a guide and park fees. Treat this as a planning range, not a final package quote, until an operator confirms every service in writing. [2]
| Name | Price | Duration | Rating | Best For |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Zinave guided tracking experience | $150–$250 per person per day | 1 day, or longer by arrangement | Not published | Specialist wildlife tracking |
| Zinave park entry | $10 per person | One park entry | Not applicable | Visitors arranging their own wider itinerary |
| Custom Zinave safari package | Request a 2027 quote | Set by itinerary | Check verified reviews | Travelers needing transport and lodging |
The table shows why you should separate park fees from the full trip cost. The $10 entry fee is only one part of the budget. The $150–$250 daily estimate includes a guide and park fees, but the available source does not list accommodation, meals, road transfers, or international travel. [2]
Zinave National Park prices are easiest to compare when every quote uses the same checklist. Request the daily rate, total number of guests, guide type, entry fees, transport, meals, and cancellation terms. Then compare the complete total rather than the lowest headline price.
Use SafariFind to compare operators and read authentic traveler reviews before you commit. Request quotes from verified Mozambique safari operators for your budget.
The best time for a specialist Zinave tracking walk is July to September. This period is recommended by a travel source that also says these multi-hour treks require advance reservation and a certified guide. Book early because the experience depends on guide availability, not simply on arriving at the park. [2]
July to September is the clearest season recommendation available for Zinave tracking. These months are linked to specialist walks rather than a guarantee of better sightings. Your operator should explain the daily walking plan, meeting point, fitness needs, weather advice, and safety rules before you pay. [2]
Zinave National Park is a destination where planning matters. The available source does not provide a complete monthly weather table or a full annual wildlife calendar. Therefore, avoid assuming that one season guarantees elephants, lions, wild dogs, or other animals.
Travelers can also build a larger Mozambique trip around Zinave. For example, the SafariFind catalog includes planning resources for a 7-day Gorongosa safari itinerary. A coastal extension may include Tofo, Barra, or the Bazaruto Islands.
Start a Zinave safari booking by choosing a 2027 travel window, setting a full budget, and requesting a detailed operator quote. Your quote should show the daily safari price, $10 entry fee, guide arrangements, transport, accommodation, meals, and booking conditions. Advance planning is essential for certified tracking walks. [2]
Use $150–$250 per person per day as the starting figure for guided tracking. Add separate budget lines for services that the source does not confirm. This approach protects you from confusing a guided activity price with the total cost of reaching, staying in, and leaving Zinave.
A simple planning sheet can include these lines:
Zinave National Park safari prices become easier to manage when you request one total quote. Ask the operator to show both the per-person price and the full group total. Also ask whether taxes, permits, guide costs, and park fees are already inside the advertised rate.
Known for: Guided tracking, elephants, zebras, antelopes, and a conservation setting. [3]
Best for: Experienced safari travelers, wildlife photographers, walkers, and visitors seeking a less crowded experience.
Price range: About $150–$250 per person per day for the published tracking experience. [2]
Best time to visit: July to September for specialist tracking walks. [2]
Getting there: Confirm the road route and transfer plan directly with your selected operator because the supplied pricing information does not state a standard arrival route.
Pack light, neutral clothing, strong walking shoes, a hat, sunscreen, water storage, and a small day bag. Bring binoculars and a camera if wildlife viewing is your main goal. Your guide should provide the final safety list because walking conditions and park rules can vary.
Do not promise yourself a specific animal. Conservation programs are increasing wildlife numbers in Mozambique’s reserves, but sightings remain part of a natural experience. [7] A responsible operator explains this clearly and places safety before photographs.
SafariFind helps you compare operator profiles, package details, and authentic reviews in one place. Travelers who want a beach finish can also review the Mozambique safari and beach holiday costs for 2027 before shaping a longer trip.
You can book with confidence by checking the operator’s written inclusions, guide credentials, cancellation terms, and traveler feedback. A verified operator should answer direct questions about the $10 entry fee, the $150–$250 daily rate, transport, and the certified guide requirement.
Look for clear language instead of vague promises. “Wildlife viewing” is not the same as a guaranteed sighting. “Park fees included” should state whether the $10 entry charge is covered. “Guided walk” should identify the guide and explain the walk length.
Zinave National Park is a good fit for a focused wildlife trip. Travelers who want a stronger mix of safari and coast can compare it with other Mozambique routes. SafariFind resources cover Gorongosa, Limpopo, Pemba, Tofo, Barra, and island itineraries.
For travelers weighing comfort and cost, the guide to Gorongosa lodges under $1,500 offers a useful budget comparison. Visitors planning a northern route can review Pemba safari packages and booking details.
These comparisons do not replace a Zinave quote. They help you decide whether to spend more days on wildlife tracking or add beaches and coastal travel. Your best choice depends on time, comfort, walking interest, and transport needs.
Zinave National Park safari prices are about $150–$250 per person per day for a guided tracking experience in 2027. The published estimate includes a guide and park fees. Confirm accommodation, transport, meals, and other costs because the available price does not list every trip service. [2]
The listed Zinave National Park entry fee is $10 per person. Ask your operator whether this amount is already included in the quoted $150–$250 daily tracking rate. Confirm the currency and payment rules before you make a deposit. [2]
The best time for a specialist Zinave tracking walk is July to September. The available guidance recommends these months and says the multi-hour walks require advance reservation and a certified guide. This recommendation does not guarantee specific wildlife sightings. [2]

"This is the second time I am writing a review of my experience of traveling with Kikwetu Cultural Adventures. Last year, Ken Benson and his team organized an 80 day custom made safari through 7 African countries for me with such outstanding logistics and customer service throughout the safari, that this year I decided to turn again to Ken and his team to ask for his professional assistance in organizing a half-around-the-world tour for me. I am 71 years old and decided that it was now or never for me to travel to some parts of the world which always have exerted a lot of attraction over me. I communicated to Ken via e-mail my ideas of where I wanted to go and how long I wanted to stay in each place and asked him to arrange flight connection, ground transportation, accommodation, sightseeing, etc. It turned out to be the safari of a lifetime: 31 days and 7500 km by road through rural and religious Ethiopia. One week in Nairobi with visits to museums and galleries, the Sheldrick’s elephant orphanage, a hike through Hell’s Gate close to Naivasha, Kibera slum and a very enjoyable walking tour through down town Nairobi which is especially recommendable on a Sunday. Flight from Nairobi to Nampula and ground transportation to Nacala, Mozambique. From Nacala, I had arranged for a freighter travel to Singapore with a stop over in Mauritius Island, but with three weeks on my hands while waiting for another freighter to come along and take me back home to Mexico across the Indian and the Pacific Ocean, Ken arranged for a 12 day safari in Indonesia, visiting Central and East Java, Sulawesi and Bali, and one week in Malaysia with highlights in Georgetown, Ipoh and Malacca. My journey lasted 122 days and whenever network connections were available, Ken kept track of my travels and was in contact with me and/or the subcontracted provider to make sure, that everything went according to program and schedule. It was a most gratifying experience and I want to thank Ken, Livingstone, Paul and the rest of Kikwetu Cultural Adventures for having made one more of my dreams come true. There is no doubt in my mind that, if you are interested in a truly custom made safari inside Africa and in neighboring countries, Kikwetu Cultural Adventures is the best choice for getting what you are looking for with regard to advice, support, customer service and price."
