Victoria Falls Zambia Packages 2027: Prices & How to Visit range from about $4,529 for shorter trips to $59,000 for a luxury nine-day experience for two travelers. Visit during the dry season from May to October for clear views and strong activity access. SafariFind helps you compare verified operators, prices, and traveler reviews.
Hook: A luxury Botswana, Zambia, and Victoria Falls journey in July 2027 is listed at $59,000 for two travelers, while shorter Victoria Falls trips cost far less.[1]
Victoria Falls Zambia Packages 2027: Prices & How to Visit is a planning guide for trips based in Livingstone, Zambia. These packages combine Falls sightseeing with river cruises, adventure tours, luxury stays, or longer safari routes. Prices depend on trip length, hotel level, private guiding, and included activities.
Victoria Falls is a major travel highlight on the Zambezi River between Zambia and Zimbabwe.[2] The Zambian side gives travelers access to Livingstone, the Falls viewpoint area, and many river-based activities. You can also add a safari in Zambia before or after your Falls visit.
Quick answer: The best Victoria Falls Zambia package for 2027 depends on your budget and travel time. Plan for a shorter Falls stay if you want lower costs, or choose a 9-to-17-day route for safari and regional travel. May to October is the main dry-season window for clear views and outdoor activities.
This guide explains prices, package types, travel dates, airport planning, and activity costs. It also shows how to compare operators without relying on unclear package details. Use the figures as planning ranges, then confirm final 2027 rates, availability, visa rules, and inclusions before payment.
Victoria Falls Zambia packages are guided trips that combine accommodation, Falls visits, transfers, and selected activities. A package can last one or two nights in Livingstone, or form part of a longer safari across Zambia, Botswana, Zimbabwe, and Tanzania.
Short Falls breaks focus on the waterfall and nearby experiences. These trips suit travelers who already have flights or who want to add Victoria Falls to a larger African holiday. Some short packages include accommodation, airport transfers, guided Falls time, and one dinner or cruise.
Multi-day safari packages combine Victoria Falls with wildlife areas and river lodges. These routes give you more variety, but they also add road transfers, domestic flights, park fees, and guide costs. A longer route works well when Victoria Falls is one part of a wider Zambia safari.
Luxury multi-country journeys offer private service, premium lodges, and several destinations. Inspirato lists a Botswana, Zambia, and Victoria Falls itinerary for July 10–18, 2027. The trip lasts nine days, costs $59,000 for two travelers, has a minimum age of 16, and allows up to 14 travelers.[1]
Victoria Falls is known for dramatic viewpoints, Zambezi River cruises, and adventure activities. TourRadar describes packages with airport transfers and a traditional Boma dinner at about $590 per day.[3] The exact price depends on the itinerary, accommodation, group size, and services included.
Livingstone is the main base for the Zambian side. The town gives travelers access to Falls walks, river trips, cultural dining, and flights from the local airport. Read our guide to Livingstone activities and tour prices for 2027 before choosing how many nights to stay.
Package design changes both price and pace. A two-night Falls stay leaves less time for rest and optional activities. A longer safari gives you more room for river cruises, wildlife viewing, and travel between lodges.

Victoria Falls Zambia package prices range from affordable short breaks to luxury itineraries costing tens of thousands of dollars. In 2027, published examples include about $590 per day, $16,145 for a 13-day route, $20,770 for a 17-day route, and $59,000 for two travelers on a nine-day luxury trip.
| Name | Price | Duration | Rating | Best For |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Victoria Falls package with transfers and Boma dinner | About $590 per day | Varies | Not stated | Short guided Falls visits |
| Wildlife and the Falls | $16,145 | 13 days | Not stated | Safari and Falls combination |
| Golden Trails of Africa | $20,770 | 17 days | Not stated | Multi-country luxury travel |
| Botswana, Zambia and Victoria Falls | $59,000 for two travelers | 9 days | Not stated | High-end private-style travel |
Adventure Life lists the 17-day Golden Trails of Africa itinerary at $20,770. The route includes Victoria Falls and Tanzania.[4] The same source lists a 13-day Wildlife and the Falls itinerary at $16,145.[4] These examples show why duration and destination count strongly affect the final price.
Published cost estimates place Victoria Falls entry fees at about $30–$50 per person. Helicopter flights cost about $150–$300 per person, full-day white-water rafting costs about $130–$180, and sunset cruises cost about $60–$90.[7] Treat these as planning estimates, not guaranteed 2027 rates.
Activity costs often sit outside the headline package price. Ask whether your quote includes Falls entry, transfers, guide services, meals, park fees, and gratuities. A lower price may exclude the experiences you most want.
Travel dates affect demand and availability. July 2027 is already shown in a published luxury itinerary, so peak dates may need early planning.[1] Private vehicles, premium rooms, internal flights, and longer routes also raise the cost.
Use this simple budget checklist:
Compare verified tour operators by price and package length before you request a 2027 quote.
The best time to visit Victoria Falls Zambia is May to October for dry-season travel, clear viewpoints, and strong access to outdoor activities. Water levels change during the year, so your ideal month depends on whether you want powerful spray, clear photographs, rafting, or a quieter visit.
May to October is the main dry-season window in the available 2027 planning data. This period is often chosen for clear sightseeing and safari travel. July and August suit travelers who want to combine Falls time with a wider southern African route.
Dry weather does not mean every activity has the same conditions. Water levels and river access can vary. Ask your operator which viewpoints and activities work best on your selected dates.
Inspirato lists an experience from July 10–18, 2027. The suggested arrival airport is Harry Mwaanga Nkumbula International Airport in Zambia, with departure from Johannesburg International Airport.[1] This example shows how a Victoria Falls stay can connect with Botswana and South Africa.
Livingstone-based travel also makes it simple to add more Zambia experiences. You could review a longer route through South Luangwa safari packages for 2027 if wildlife is as important as the Falls.
The 2027 Inspirato itinerary has a minimum age of 16.[1] Families should therefore check age rules for every activity, not only the main tour.
Most international visitors reach Victoria Falls Zambia through Harry Mwaanga Nkumbula International Airport in Livingstone. Airport transfers then connect travelers with hotels, lodges, and Falls activities. Some multi-country trips use Livingstone for arrival and Johannesburg for departure.
Harry Mwaanga Nkumbula International Airport is the key arrival point for Livingstone-based packages. It is linked to Victoria Falls activities through road transfers arranged by tour operators. Confirm transfer times, vehicle type, luggage rules, and late-arrival support before you travel.
Inspirato identifies the airport as the suggested arrival point for its July 2027 itinerary.[1] The itinerary uses Johannesburg International Airport for departure, which may suit travelers adding South Africa to their trip.
Lusaka can also feature in longer Zambia travel plans. However, your operator should confirm the exact route, flight schedule, and transfer time. Do not assume that a package includes every domestic connection.
A longer route can add wildlife and river landscapes. For example, travelers planning a broader Zambia trip can compare the ideas in Zambia safari holiday packages for 2027. Those plans may include lakes, parks, and different lodge styles.
Pack light, quick-dry clothing, walking shoes, sun protection, and a waterproof cover for cameras. Falls viewpoints can be wet when spray is heavy. Bring a small day bag for water, documents, and personal medication.
Ask your operator about clothing rules, activity gear, and laundry service. Some packages provide equipment for rafting or river trips. Others expect guests to bring personal items such as closed shoes or dry bags.
Choose a 2027 Victoria Falls package by matching the trip length, activity list, transport plan, and total price to your needs. A clear quote should state what is included and what you pay separately. Verified reviews can also reveal guide quality, transfer care, and lodge standards.
Start with the number of nights and room type. Then check meals, transfers, Falls entry, guided tours, and activity fees. Ask whether the price covers one traveler or two travelers. The $59,000 Inspirato example is specifically priced for two travelers.[1]
Next, review the cancellation policy. Weather, flight changes, and activity closures can affect a trip. A strong operator explains the backup plan and gives you a clear contact number.
Budget-friendly packages usually focus on a shorter stay and selected activities. Mid-range packages add more comfortable rooms, guided transfers, and meals. Luxury packages add private service, premium lodges, and multi-country travel.
TourRadar reports a package level of about $590 per day when airport transfers and a traditional Boma dinner are included.[3] Compare that daily figure with the number of nights, included meals, and activities. Daily prices are useful only when the inclusions match.
Reviews help you compare real guest experiences. Look for comments about communication, airport pickup, guide knowledge, room quality, and surprise charges. SafariFind connects travelers with verified tour operators and authentic traveler feedback, making these checks easier.
You can also compare a Victoria Falls stay with wider planning options, such as Zambia safari lodge rates and booking advice. This helps you judge whether the lodge level matches your budget.
Clear answers protect your budget. They also make it easier to compare two packages with different names and inclusions.
Victoria Falls Zambia packages cost about $4,529 to $59,000, based on published package examples and trip styles. A TourRadar example is about $590 per day, while a luxury Inspirato itinerary costs $59,000 for two travelers for nine days.[1][3]
The best travel window for Victoria Falls Zambia is May to October. This dry-season period suits clear sightseeing and outdoor activities. July 2027 is a confirmed date example in a published Botswana, Zambia, and Victoria Falls itinerary.[1]
You need about two or three nights for a focused Victoria Falls visit. This allows time for Falls viewpoints, one river or dinner activity, and airport transfers. Longer 13-day and 17-day packages combine the Falls with safari and multi-country travel.[4]
Use Harry Mwaanga Nkumbula International Airport in Livingstone for many Victoria Falls Zambia packages. Inspirato lists it as the suggested arrival airport for its July 2027 itinerary, with Johannesburg International Airport used for departure.[1]
You can add Falls entry, helicopter flights, white-water rafting, sunset cruises, and traditional Boma dinners. Published estimates place entry at $30–$50, helicopter flights at $150–$300, rafting at $130–$180, and sunset cruises at $60–$90 per person.[7]

"On 10.9. until 1.10. In 2023, I went on a trip to Botswana, Zimbabwe and a short visit to Zambia with my clients - friends. I carefully prepared the trip in cooperation with the manager of Cultural Vibes Travel & Tours, Mr. Tongesai Mutematsaka. After arriving in Gaborone we organized a short tour of the city ourselves and met Tongesai in Maun. Tongesai was our driver and guide practically the whole way. We visited the Okavango River Delta and its surroundings (Moremi Reserve, Mokoro boat cruise, flight over the Okavango Delta. This was followed by a visit to the Makgadikgadi Salt Flats, then the Elephant Sands area and in Botswana Chobe National Park with a cruise on the Chobe River. Then we crossed to Zimbabwe, which was the main part of our journey. In the Victoria Falls area, we visited the Monde settlement, took a helicopter flight over Victoria Falls, followed by a cruise on the Zambezi River as part of a visit to the national park of the same name. We also walked past Victoria Falls on the Zimbabwean side and had a Boma dinner in the evening (too much of a "tourist thing"). On the Zambian side of the falls we saw white rhinos in Mosi - oa - Tunya National Park, then visited the museum in Livingstone and walked the Zambian side of the falls. From Victoria Falls, we headed to Hwange National Park, where we had a beautiful program - a safari, and after Hwange, there was also a very interesting program in Matobo National Park (there, among other things, white rhinos (a mother with her little daughter), beautiful rock formations and prehistoric cave drawings. The next place visited was Khami with very interesting buildings, and then we visited the ruins of Great Zimbabwe, which are among the most important world monuments. This was followed by a visit to the Chinhoya Karst and finally the gallery in Harare. I would also like to comment on the provision of services: Accommodation in the hotels was at the standard, expected level, only the service at the Great Zimbabwe Hotel was rather lazy. Accommodation in lodges - very good and the best accommodation was in Iganyana tented camp in Hwange National Park, mainly due to the extraordinary professionalism and very friendly attitude of the staff there towards us, the visitors. I must also highly praise all the local guides we met everywhere, e.g. in Chobe, Hwange and Matobo National Parks. I want to emphasize that this journey is one of the most interesting that I have made around the world. I believe that my clients - friends were also satisfied with the set. Thanks to the travel agency Cultural Vibes Travel & Tours and Mr. Tongesai Mutematsaka. I recommend Cultural Vibes Travel & Tours to anyone considering a trip to Zimbabwe."

"Tongesai was awesome from the start. I knew he was a good tour operator because he answered all of my questions in a timely manner and no question was ever stupid. Everything was just as he said once we arrived and really it was better. We prepared for about a year in advance for this trip and the tour operator was instrumental and making this trip a success. I highly recommend this tour operator to anyone who wants to visit Zimbabwe, Zambia, and Botswana. Give Tongesai a call or email, and you will 100% not be disappointed. I have a very deep understanding of border crossing and transportation challenges in many African countries at this point because of the efforts of the tour operator. This makes my wife and I have very comfortable to approach another visit or look at visiting a different African country."
