Hepatitis A and typhoid are recommended for many travellers, while malaria prevention depends on the itinerary and season.

Namibia Safari Tours 2026: 7 Packages Worth Comparing range from simple day rates to multi-country journeys. A typical 7-day Namibia safari costs $2,000–$4,000 per person, including flights from Europe, lodges, meals, and guided activities. July is a strong month to compare peak-season options, while booking 3–6 months ahead can help secure better lodge choice and rates.
Namibia Safari Tours 2026: 7 Packages Worth Comparing help travellers match trip length, price, comfort, and activities. Namibia offers a rare mix of red dunes, coastal wildlife, canyon views, and game drives. The right tour depends on whether you want a short guided trip, a full safari circuit, or a long overland adventure.
Quick answer: Namibia safari tours in 2026 cost about $2,000–$6,000 per person for many full trips, while listed day rates range from $23 to $325. A 7-day safari is a practical starting point. Compare Sossusvlei, Walvis Bay, Damaraland, and Etosha routes before choosing your operator.
TourRadar lists 32 Namibia tour operators with trips lasting from 1 to 21 days. SafariBookings also lists 244 Namibia safari tours from 32 operators, giving travellers a wide set of routes and price points to review [1][7]. These figures show why careful comparison matters.
SafariFind connects travellers with verified tour operators, package details, and authentic reviews. Use this guide to shortlist options, then check what each package includes. Pay close attention to flights, lodge type, meals, transfers, park activities, and guide services.
Namibia Safari Tours 2026: 7 Packages Worth Comparing are seven distinct trip profiles based on current listings and verified planning data. They range from a low daily rate to a premium guided itinerary and a 41-day overland journey. Each option suits a different budget, pace, and travel style.
Motema Tours and Safaris lists trips from 1 to 20 days, with prices from $23 per day. T.S Tours lists trips from $325 per day, while Chameleon Safaris Namibia lists trips from $202 per day [1]. These are useful starting points, but daily rates do not always show the full trip cost.
Adventure Life lists a 9-day guided Namibia itinerary. The route includes Sossusvlei, Sesriem Canyon, Deadvlei, Walvis Bay, Damaraland, and Etosha Heights Private Reserve [2]. This route suits travellers who want both desert landscapes and wildlife viewing in one trip.
SafariFind reports that a typical 7-day Namibia safari costs $2,000–$4,000 per person. That figure includes flights from Europe, lodge accommodation, meals, and guided activities [3]. It gives travellers a clearer benchmark than a low daily rate alone.
Namibia is a large destination, so route design affects both cost and comfort. A short trip may focus on one region. A longer trip can link dunes, coast, desert, and wildlife reserves. Therefore, compare driving time, activity level, and included services before comparing headline prices.
Known for: Namibia is known for desert scenery, remote landscapes, and varied wildlife experiences. The Adventure Life route adds kayaking with seals and dolphins, desert-adapted elephant tracking, and game drives with chances to see rhino, lion, and cheetah [2].
Best for: Short day-rate tours suit flexible travellers. Seven-day trips suit first-time visitors. Nine- and ten-day guided tours suit travellers who want a deeper route. The 41-day overland trip suits people who want Namibia as part of a wider African journey.
Compare Namibia safari packages by price, duration, and travel style before you request a quote.
The seven options below show how Namibia safari prices change with duration, service level, and route size. Use the table as a shortlist, not as a final quote. Some listings show a daily rate, while others show a full trip price or no price in the supplied listing data.
| Name | Price | Duration | Rating | Best For |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Motema Tours and Safaris | From $23 per day [1] | 1–20 days | Not stated | Low daily starting price |
| T.S Tours | From $325 per day [1] | From 3 days | Not stated | Higher daily service level |
| Chameleon Safaris Namibia | From $202 per day [1] | Not stated | Not stated | Mid-range daily comparison |
| Adventure Life guided itinerary | Not stated [2] | 9 days | Not stated | Desert, coast, and wildlife |
| SafariFind typical Namibia safari | $2,000–$4,000 per person [3] | 7 days | Not stated | First-time visitors |
| Intrepid Premium Namibia | $8,195 [5] | 10 days | Not stated | Premium guided travel |
| Intrepid Cape Town to Zanzibar | $5,756, reduced from $6,395 [5] | 41 days | Not stated | Long overland travel |
Motema’s $23 daily rate is a starting price, not a confirmed seven-day package total. A traveller should ask whether transport, meals, park fees, lodging, and guide services are included. The same check applies to the $202 Chameleon rate and the $325 T.S Tours rate [1].
Intrepid’s Premium Namibia trip is listed at $8,195, with the lowest listed price dated April 24, 2027 [5]. This date falls outside the main 2026 planning window. Treat it as a premium price reference, not as a confirmed July 2026 departure.
Intrepid’s 41-day Cape Town to Zanzibar overland route costs $5,756, reduced from $6,395. The listed lowest price is for August 16, 2026 [5]. The journey covers Namibia and six additional countries, so it is not a direct substitute for a Namibia-only safari.
Price range: A focused 7-day Namibia safari generally sits between $2,000 and $4,000 per person when the listed inclusions apply [3]. Premium trips and multi-country routes can use a different budget model.
Compare verified Namibia tour operators and request a quote for your budget when a daily rate does not show the full package cost.
Before booking Namibia safari tours, check the full itinerary, inclusions, transport, lodging, and cancellation terms. A low advertised price may cover only the tour service. A higher price may include flights, meals, lodges, and guided activities. Compare like with like before choosing the cheapest option.
Sossusvlei, Sesriem Canyon, and Deadvlei suit travellers who want dunes and striking desert views. Walvis Bay adds coastal activities, including kayaking with seals and dolphins. Damaraland adds remote scenery and the chance to track desert-adapted elephants [2].
Etosha Heights Private Reserve suits travellers who want guided wildlife drives. The Adventure Life itinerary includes chances to see rhino, lion, and cheetah [2]. Ask how many game drives the package includes and how long you stay in each area.
A 7-day route offers a focused introduction. A 9-day itinerary gives more room for desert, coast, and wildlife stops. A 41-day overland route creates a much wider journey across southern and eastern Africa [2][5]. Choose the shortest route that still includes your priority places.
SafariFind reports that its typical 7-day cost benchmark includes flights from Europe, lodge accommodation, meals, and guided activities [3]. Still, ask for a written list of inclusions. This step prevents surprise costs after arrival.
Norwegian travellers can review the current Namibia vaccinations and health rules for Norwegians before departure. Danish travellers can use the related Namibia health guide for Danish travellers.
Travel documents also need early attention. Norwegian citizens can check the latest Namibia visa guidance for Norwegian citizens. Danish citizens can review the current Namibia visa rules for Danish citizens.
Pack for changing conditions, not just hot days. The Namibia safari packing list for 2026 covers practical clothing choices and local advice.
Book Namibia safari tours 3–6 months ahead when you want preferred lodges, fixed dates, or July travel. SafariFind reports possible savings of 15–20% compared with last-minute bookings [3]. Early planning also gives you time to compare routes, ask questions, and check reviews.
SafariFind helps travellers compare verified operators and read authentic reviews. A review can reveal guide quality, vehicle comfort, food, lodge standards, and how the operator handled delays. These details often matter more than a small difference in price.
Ask how much driving each day requires. Namibia’s desert and wildlife routes can cover long distances. A detailed schedule should show overnight stops, activity times, and transport type.
Ask whether the operator uses a private vehicle or shared vehicle. Private travel often gives more control over stops and photography. Shared travel can reduce the cost and add a social element.
Ask whether the package offers a licensed guide and local support. Also ask who you contact during the trip. Clear answers show that the operator has a practical plan for guest care.
Finally, compare the operator’s total value. A package with a higher price may include more meals, better lodges, fewer transfers, or more guided activities. A cheaper package may still work well if the basic inclusions match your needs.

A 7-day Namibia safari gives travellers a focused trip, while a 9-day route allows more time for desert, coastal, and wildlife stops. Intrepid also lists a 10-day Premium Namibia trip and a 41-day multi-country overland route [2][5].

"Tongesai was recommended to me by a friend who also booked his amazing safari through Cultural Vibes; I am glad we took his recommendation. Our safari across Victoria Falls and Botswana was top notch. Tongesai booked us in all of the best camps and with the best safari outfitters. Our excursions were extremely well planned and full of excitement. The restaurants were fantastic as well. Personally, I love planning my own vacations but honestly don't think there is an easy and reliable way to plan an African safari without using a travel agent very familiar with the region. Located in Zimbabwe and with a travel and tourism background, Tongesai was able to coordinate our stays between 5 safari camps which included private charter flights across the regions. He also personally escorted us into Botswana and helped with border crossing which was very helpful as well. Compared to larger companies, Tongesai's package rates were more reasonable and came with a customized touch. I highly recommend Cultural Vibes to anyone looking to go on safari in Zimbabwe and its bordering countries (Botswana, Zambia & Namibia). Thanks, T!"

"We were amazing group of 4 adults from Atlanta USA. Upon arrival we found our guide Stuart Muronga already waiting for us. He picked us up in a well air-conditioned vehicle and offered us water at soft drinks. Before going to check in we drove around the beautiful city . After checking in he dropped us off at the famous Boma restaurant..we had an amazing experience there over delicious meals and drums and dance. He picked us up and dropped us off at our hotel. The next morning he picked us up for out safari experience in Chobe which is in Botswana just an hour drive from Vic Falls. We spent 6 hrs there then drove another 40 or so minutes to some island in Namibia. Stuart was so knowledgeable with great communication skills which made the whole experience so smooth and fun."

"I would like to note an excellent organisation of this tour. In advance Kubwa Five Safaris created whats app groupe for me so I had contacts of people who assisted me during my travel. I was picked up at the airport. My guide was waiting for me. The accommodations chosen for this trip were correct, clean with good service. The choice of restaurants corresponded the rate of this tour. We visited wonderfull places with beautiful landscapes, I enjoyed game drive and visit of Etosha parc. My driver was a professional guide, so I had explanations on historical events, culture, geology, flore and faune of the sites that we visited. Kubwa Five Safaris chose reliable partners in Namibia, that made my trip safe and I would like to thank them for that."

"Our trip around Namibia was booked through Kubwa Five Safaris, main contact was Sylvia (from their sister company Ompo Travel). Everything was organised perfectly, Sylvia listened to our needs and constantly adapted the trip according to our (many) changes of mind, to ensure we could get the best out of it, both in terms of things to do and accommodations where to stay; but she also added her local know-how to advise our decisions on what really worth seeing and what to skip (given the limited time of two weeks). She was also very responsive, both prior the trip as well as during the trip, taking immediate action if needed (only once, due to a misunderstanding on the check-out from a lodge). Namibia is an amazing place with plenty of wilderness and photo opportunities, and we have enjoyed it fully!"
