Namibia Etosha Safari Packages 2027: Fees and Booking plans start with Etosha National Park entrance fees, lodge costs, and safari transport. Foreign adults pay NAD 280 per person per day, while Etosha Safari Lodge lists N$3,721 per person sharing for January to October 2027. A four-day budget tour starts at about $300 per day. Book early for 2027 and compare verified operators on SafariFind.
Etosha National Park charges foreign adults NAD 280 per person per day, making park fees easy to add to a 2027 safari budget. [1] That figure is small beside accommodation, vehicle hire, meals, and guide costs. Still, knowing the fee first helps you compare packages with a clear head.
Namibia Etosha Safari Packages 2027: Fees and Booking is a guide to the costs that matter most. It covers entrance fees, lodge rates, budget tours, luxury trips, family rules, and booking steps. It also separates package prices from costs you may need to pay yourself.
Etosha National Park is a strong choice for travellers who want wildlife drives without a packed schedule. Waterholes shape many game drives, and lodge-based trips can suit families, couples, and first-time safari guests. A self-drive plan may suit travellers who want more control.
SafariFind connects travellers with verified tour operators. You can compare safari packages, read authentic reviews, and request quotes before choosing a route. The right package is not always the cheapest one. It is the one that clearly shows what you pay for.
Namibia Etosha Safari Packages 2027: Fees and Booking combine park access, accommodation, game drives, transport, and sometimes meals. A short guided tour can start at about $300 per person per day, while a lodge stay may list a separate nightly rate. Read every inclusion before comparing prices.
An Etosha safari package usually groups several travel costs into one plan. These costs can include accommodation, park entry, vehicle use, guiding, meals, and transfers. The exact mix depends on the tour style. A camping trip and a lodge safari should never be judged by price alone.
TourRadar lists a four-day, three-night Etosha National Park and Swakopmund safari from about $300 per day. The listed package includes national park fees, game drives in Etosha, accommodation, and a Himba village visit. [3] This gives budget travellers a useful 2027 starting point.
Etosha Safari Lodge lists January to October 2027 bed-and-breakfast at N$3,721 per person sharing in a double, twin, triple, or family room. [2] The single-room rate is N$4,651. [2] These rates help you compare a lodge stay with a guided circuit.
Etosha safari packages can look similar until you check the details. Ask what the displayed price includes. A lower headline rate may exclude park fees, transfers, meals, or extra activities.
Etosha National Park entrance fees apply per person per day. Foreign adults pay NAD 280, SADC adults pay NAD 180, and Namibian adults pay NAD 60. [1] Children under 16 enter free of charge. [1] The park also charges NAD 60 per vehicle per day for vehicles carrying up to 10 seats. [1]
These rules affect couples, families, and self-drive guests in different ways. A family with children under 16 pays adult entry fees only for eligible adults. A small group may share a vehicle fee, but each person still needs the correct park entry category.
If you already know your dates and budget, compare 2027 Etosha safari packages with clear inclusions before you request quotes.
Etosha safari packages in 2027 start at about $300 per person per day for a listed budget tour, while lodge prices and luxury tours sit at higher levels. Etosha Safari Lodge lists N$3,721 per person sharing for January to October. Compare the number of nights, meals, drives, and fees behind each price.
| Package or stay | Duration or rate period | Published price | Included details |
|---|---|---|---|
| Etosha National Park and Swakopmund safari | 4 days, 3 nights | About $300 per person per day | Park fees, Etosha game drives, accommodation, and a Himba village visit |
| Etosha Safari Lodge, shared room | January to October 2027 | N$3,721 per person | Bed and breakfast |
| Etosha Safari Lodge, single room | January to October 2027 | N$4,651 per person | Bed and breakfast |
| Luxury Namibia safari with Etosha | 13 days | From $4,549 | Luxury itinerary including an Etosha National Park visit |
The budget tour price comes from a listed package rate, not a universal Etosha tariff. [3] The lodge figures are also published accommodation rates, not full circuit prices. [2] A full safari quote may add flights, airport transfers, fuel, guide services, meals, and nights outside Etosha.
Luxury Namibia safaris that include Etosha start at $4,549 for 13 days in the supplied 2027 research. [4] That type of trip often covers more than Etosha. It may combine the park with desert areas, coastal stops, or other northern routes.
A foreign adult staying inside Etosha for three days pays NAD 840 in park entry fees before vehicle charges. [1] Two foreign adults pay NAD 1,680 for the same three-day period. Children under 16 enter free, but the vehicle fee still applies when the vehicle carries up to 10 seats.
Package pricing becomes easier to compare when you calculate the same basics for every option. Start with the number of travellers, park days, room type, and total nights. Then check whether the tour includes the vehicle, driver, fuel, meals, and game drives.
Budget Etosha trips suit travellers who accept camping or simple accommodation. A supplied pricing guide places Namibia self-drive safaris at about $160 to $275 per person per day. It places mid-range trips at about $300 to $700 per person per day. [6]
Mid-range lodge packages offer more comfort and a simpler daily routine. You spend less time arranging fuel, routes, and gate plans. Luxury trips cost much more, but they may include high-end lodges, private guiding, and flights between distant areas.
Use the SafariFind marketplace to compare Etosha package prices against your 2027 budget. Read the inclusions and authentic traveller reviews before asking a verified operator for a quote.
Book an Etosha safari by fixing your travel dates, choosing a trip style, checking park fees, and comparing written inclusions. Start with January to October if you want to use the published Etosha Safari Lodge rates. November and December 2027 rates need an enquiry. [2]
Guided safaris work well when you want a driver, route planning, and regular game drives. Self-drive trips suit confident travellers who prefer control over stops and pace. Lodge-based tours suit guests who want simple rooms, meals, and a fixed base.
Families should check room rules before paying a deposit. Etosha Safari Lodge states that children under 5 stay free. Children aged 6 to 13 pay 50% of the adult rate when sharing with two full-paying adults. [2] The supplied policy does not list a rate for every age group, so ask the lodge or operator to confirm the full family quote.
A four-day, three-night tour can combine Etosha with Swakopmund. [3] That format suits travellers with limited holiday time. A longer Namibia route gives Etosha more space in the itinerary and can reduce the rushed feeling that comes from changing camps each night.
The right duration depends on your wider route. Some travellers build an Etosha stay into a longer Namibia trip. Others fly in for a short wildlife break. SafariFind also lists planning resources such as the 7-day Etosha National Park safari itinerary and cost guide.
Ask for a line-by-line quote. Confirm whether the price includes foreign visitor entry, vehicle fees, game drives, accommodation, meals, fuel, transfers, and guide services. Park fees are paid at the gate according to the listed Etosha fee information. [1]
Do not assume a package includes every activity near the park. For example, a Namibia itinerary may add desert stops, cultural visits, or coastal towns. Those extras can change the total price and the travel time between safari areas.
SafariFind connects travellers with verified tour operators and authentic reviews. Compare the operator's route, room plan, vehicle size, guide service, and cancellation terms. A clear quote is easier to trust than a low price with missing details.
Read the Namibia safari tours guide for choosing an operator before you shortlist companies. You can also compare a lodge-focused route with the Etosha lodge prices guide for 2027.
Namibia is good for safari when you want open landscapes, self-drive freedom, and a slower wildlife trip. Etosha National Park gives travellers a clear park-fee system, lodge choices, and guided tours. It suits first-time visitors who want to combine wildlife with desert and coastal travel.
Etosha National Park works well for travellers who like to plan by waterhole and route. A guided tour removes much of the driving work. A self-drive plan gives you more control, but you must manage fuel, timing, park access, and vehicle needs.
Families also have a clear reason to compare Etosha packages. Children under 16 enter the park free of charge. [1] Etosha Safari Lodge gives free stays to children under 5 and charges half the adult rate for children aged 6 to 13 sharing with two full-paying adults. [2]
Namibia is also useful for a mixed itinerary. You can pair Etosha with the Deadvlei destination guide, the Naukluft Mountains, or coastal places such as Lüderitz. These places add travel time, so ask an operator to show the route on a map.
January to October 2027 is the clearest booking period for Etosha Safari Lodge because published shared-room and single-room rates cover those months. [2] November and December 2027 rates are available by enquiry. [2]
This does not mean every month suits every traveller. Your choice should follow school holidays, weather preferences, road plans, and the wider Namibia route. Ask operators which dates they can confirm, then compare the total price rather than one nightly figure.
For a wider route, SafariFind includes information about Kamanjab safari packages and routes. You can also review the NamibRand package guide for first-time visitors.

Foreign adults pay NAD 280 per person per day to enter Etosha National Park. SADC adults pay NAD 180, and Namibian adults pay NAD 60. Children under 16 enter free. Vehicles carrying up to 10 seats pay NAD 60 per vehicle per day. [1]
Namibia is good for safari if you want Etosha wildlife drives, open space, and flexible self-drive or guided travel. Etosha also works well in family itineraries because children under 16 enter free. [1] Compare the route, driving time, accommodation, and park days before booking.

"The two brothers at the helm of Okavango Exploration Safaris are extraordinary hosts. Their purpose is clearly to give clients the very best that the Botswana bush has to offer. This means they expertly track down a wide array of wildlife, they share their vast knowledge of the flora and fauna of the land, their camps are simple and well-run, the food is delicious and they accommodate food restrictions very well, and you always feel safe in their hands. While planning our family safari, we were in constant communication with our guide, Sox. He was most helpful and very flexible in working out schedules and activities, and always got back to us immediately. Sox was at the airport to meet us with open arms in his well-equipped and very comfortable safari vehicle. He is an excellent driver and spotter, and has a warm and friendly personality. From the coffees at sun-up to the gin and tonics at sun-down, we enjoyed every minute. We saw grand herds of elephant, giraffe, zebras, antelopes, as well as lions, leopards, cheetah, wild dogs, buffalo, hippos, to name a few. We shared stories around the fire under an incredible blanket of stars, we heard the roar of lions at night while we were tucked safely into our tents. And we experienced a beautiful morning on the river in mokoros, where we came face to face with a herd of elephants taking a drink and splashing around! It was all magical and never to be forgotten. We have enjoyed seven safaris in the Botswana/Namibia area, two of which were with Okavango Exploration Safaris. We highly recommend this outfit and definitely feel we received good value for our money."
"Tongesai was recommended to me by a friend who also booked his amazing safari through Cultural Vibes; I am glad we took his recommendation. Our safari across Victoria Falls and Botswana was top notch. Tongesai booked us in all of the best camps and with the best safari outfitters. Our excursions were extremely well planned and full of excitement. The restaurants were fantastic as well. Personally, I love planning my own vacations but honestly don't think there is an easy and reliable way to plan an African safari without using a travel agent very familiar with the region. Located in Zimbabwe and with a travel and tourism background, Tongesai was able to coordinate our stays between 5 safari camps which included private charter flights across the regions. He also personally escorted us into Botswana and helped with border crossing which was very helpful as well. Compared to larger companies, Tongesai's package rates were more reasonable and came with a customized touch. I highly recommend Cultural Vibes to anyone looking to go on safari in Zimbabwe and its bordering countries (Botswana, Zambia & Namibia). Thanks, T!"
"We were amazing group of 4 adults from Atlanta USA. Upon arrival we found our guide Stuart Muronga already waiting for us. He picked us up in a well air-conditioned vehicle and offered us water at soft drinks. Before going to check in we drove around the beautiful city . After checking in he dropped us off at the famous Boma restaurant..we had an amazing experience there over delicious meals and drums and dance. He picked us up and dropped us off at our hotel. The next morning he picked us up for out safari experience in Chobe which is in Botswana just an hour drive from Vic Falls. We spent 6 hrs there then drove another 40 or so minutes to some island in Namibia. Stuart was so knowledgeable with great communication skills which made the whole experience so smooth and fun."

"Initially we did not really know what to expect, so we bombarded Kubwa Five Safaris with what might have been considered to be an unreasonable amount of questions - where to go, what would we see, where would we stay, and who would travel with us. Every time we asked a question the team responded incredibly quickly and were happy to answer the many follow-up questions that we had. Ultimately, we decided to travel as a couple with one of their local guides who would accompany us and drive us from location to location over the course of our 12 day trip. The Kubwa Five Safaris team were happy to customize the itinerary to make the absolute most of our time in wonderful Namibia (even when we asked them to add a last minute game drive before going to the airport to fly home). Our guide Angelo did an amazing job looking after us. Not only did he take the pressure away from the daily driving on unpaved roads, but he was our nature/cultural/city/history expert, and with him our unforgettable trip exceeded our every expectation. We started on a high at a private game reserve, before spending a further three days in Etosha National Park. After having spent two interesting days in Damaraland we moved on to Swakopmund with the German history before tackling the dunes in a 4x4 around Walvis Bay. Our final couple of days were spent in Deadvlei climbing "Big Daddy", overnighting in the Kalahari, before returning to Windhoek for the flight home... twelve amazing days filled with experiences of a lifetime and we cannot thank Kubwa Five Safaris enough for being with us every step of the journey. We are already thinking of where to go next with this amazing agency :-)"
