Île Sainte-Marie beach packages listed for 2027 reach up to $3,300 per person, while one budget route advertises travel at about $220 per day. [1][3]
Île Sainte-Marie Snorkeling Tours 2027: Cost and Booking options range from about $2,535 to $3,300 per person for listed beach packages. Trips run for 6 to 12 days, with a November 10 to 17, 2027 departure listed. Compare what each quote includes, then use SafariFind to review Madagascar packages and verified operators.
Île Sainte-Marie Snorkeling Tours 2027: Cost and Booking choices suit travelers who want a beach stay in eastern Madagascar. The island also appears in longer routes that combine coastal travel, island time, and wildlife. As of November 2026, listed 2027 packages show a wide price spread. The key difference is what the price includes.
Île Sainte-Marie is also called Sainte Marie or Nosy Boraha. This guide focuses on the price facts available for 2027. It explains how long the listed trips run, what package details need checking, and how to plan a snorkeling day without assuming that every beach package includes boat trips or gear.
Quick answer: A 2027 Sainte-Marie package costs about $2,535 to $3,300 per person in the listed beach package data. A five-day stay starts at $2,713, while another Madagascar route advertises about $220 per day. Confirm transfers, meals, room type, fees, and water activities before booking.
That last step matters. A low daily figure may cover only selected parts of a wider itinerary. A higher quote may include transfers, guides, meals, accommodation, and excursions. Read the full plan before comparing two prices.
Île Sainte-Marie snorkeling tours in 2027 are coastal holidays that place island time at the center of a Madagascar trip. Listed routes run for 6 to 12 days and cost about $2,535 to $3,300 per person. The packages may combine beach time with island trips, coastal travel, or wider Madagascar sightseeing. [1]
Île Sainte-Marie is a practical base for travelers who want several days near the coast. The available 2027 listings include a six-day package and a 12-day eastern route. These trip lengths suit different travel styles. A short stay works for a beach break. A longer route leaves room for inland travel and transfers.
The listed dates also show how early planning works. One beach package lists November 10 to 17, 2027. [1] Another provider lists a five-day Sainte-Marie stay from $2,713 for October 10 to 24, 2027 dates. [2] These are useful price markers, but they do not prove that every date has the same rate.
Known for: island accommodation, beach time, and access to coastal activities. A booking page for Villa Ste Marie lists snorkeling among its guest activities, along with walking tours, hiking, and cycling. [6] A six-day island-hopping and scuba-diving itinerary also says snorkeling or kayaking may fit into the final morning, depending on departure time. [8]
That wording is worth reading closely. A tour that includes scuba diving does not always include a full snorkeling excursion. A final-morning activity also depends on transport timing. Ask whether your booking includes a boat, mask, fins, guide, lunch, and transfers.
Snorkeling plans work best when the water activity matches the wider schedule. A beach package with free time gives you room to arrange a local outing. A tightly timed island-hopping plan may offer fewer spare hours. Your quote should show the activity date, meeting point, duration, and transport plan.

Île Sainte-Marie snorkeling tours cost about $2,535 to $3,300 per person for the listed 2027 beach packages. A five-day stay starts at $2,713, and one budget Madagascar route with Sainte-Marie is advertised at about $220 per day. These figures are guide prices, so compare inclusions rather than looking at the headline number alone. [1][2][3]
| Trip type | Price | Length or dates |
|---|---|---|
| Listed Sainte-Marie beach package | About $2,535 to $3,300 per person | 6 to 12 days |
| Princess Bora Lodge and Spa stay | From $2,713 per person | 5 days, October 10 to 24, 2027 dates |
| Budget Madagascar route with Sainte-Marie | About $220 per day | Route includes a stay at Princesse Bora |
| Sainte Marie honeymoon package | From £2,900 per person | 7 days, based on two people sharing |
The £2,900 honeymoon package includes half-board accommodation outside Antananarivo, shared excursions, private transfers, entrance and guiding fees, and English-speaking services. [5] That makes it a useful example of why two prices may look far apart. Package contents can matter as much as island nights.
Price range: about $2,535 to $3,300 per person for listed 2027 beach packages. [1] Before paying a deposit, ask for a written list of inclusions. Check these points:
Use the price as a starting point, not a final promise. Compare Madagascar safari costs for 2027 alongside the island quote. Then ask a verified operator to separate accommodation, transport, and water activities.
Book a 2027 Sainte-Marie snorkeling trip by fixing your dates first, then checking the activity plan and total inclusions. Start with a short island stay if beach time is your main goal. Choose a longer eastern route if you also want inland travel, wildlife, or several transfer days.
Getting there: the listed products connect Sainte-Marie with wider Madagascar itineraries, including routes that begin or end around Antananarivo. The exact transfer plan depends on the package. Your operator should state how you reach the island and how much time each transfer takes.
Bring a rash vest, reef-safe sun protection, water shoes, and a dry bag. Ask whether the operator supplies masks and fins. Gear fit matters, especially if you have never used a shared set. Keep your phone in a sealed case and follow the guide's instructions around boats and shallow water.
Snorkeling conditions depend on the day's weather and sea state. Build some free time into your plan rather than placing the activity beside a tight departure. The diving itinerary shows why this matters. It says snorkeling or kayaking may be possible on the final morning, depending on departure time. [8]
| Traveler | Useful starting point | Reason |
|---|---|---|
| Beach traveler | 6-day package | Shorter island break |
| Slow traveler | 12-day eastern route | More time for coastal travel |
| Couple | 7-day honeymoon package | Half-board, shared excursions, and private transfers |
| Budget-focused traveler | Route at about $220 per day | Clear daily guide price |
SafariFind lets you compare tour operators, package prices, and traveler feedback in one place. Request a quote from verified Madagascar operators after you decide which trip length fits your time and budget.
Prepare for an Île Sainte-Marie snorkeling tour by checking documents, transfers, equipment, and payment terms before departure. A simple checklist prevents small gaps from becoming costly problems. Keep every confirmed service in one document, including hotel names and pickup times.
The honeymoon package provides a useful comparison point because it states that the £2,900 price is per person, based on two people sharing a double room. [5] Never assume that a similar quote uses the same room basis. Ask whether solo travelers pay a supplement.
Île Sainte-Marie works well as one part of a longer Madagascar holiday. Travelers can combine an island stay with inland places such as Andasibe-Mantadia National Park, Ranomafana National Park, or Antsirabe. Each added stop changes the travel time and total cost.
For a different coastal plan, SafariFind also lists destinations such as Nosy Sakatia and Nosy Tanikely Marine Reserve. These places are alternatives, not automatic additions to a Sainte-Marie package. Choose them only when the route and transfer time make sense.
Best time to book: by November 2026 for 2027 dates, especially if you want a listed departure window. A November 10 to 17, 2027 package is already shown in the available data. [1] Earlier planning gives you more time to compare room types and transfer plans.
Do not book a snorkeling trip on price alone. A modest quote can become expensive when you add transfers, meals, gear, and excursions. A clear quote lets you compare like with like and makes the final trip easier to manage.
Listed 2027 Île Sainte-Marie beach packages cost about $2,535 to $3,300 per person. A five-day Sainte-Marie stay starts at $2,713 per person, while one budget Madagascar route with Sainte-Marie advertises about $220 per day. The final total depends on the itinerary and included services. [1][2][3]
Listed Sainte-Marie beach packages run for 6 to 12 days. A separate honeymoon itinerary lasts 7 days, while another island stay lists five days. Choose a shorter route for beach time or a longer route for wider eastern Madagascar travel. [1][2][5]
Snorkeling is not confirmed as a standard inclusion in every listed package. One accommodation page lists snorkeling as an activity, while a six-day diving itinerary says snorkeling or kayaking may be possible on the final morning. Ask for the exact activity plan before booking. [6][8]
One listed beach package has a November 10 to 17, 2027 departure. Other listings show October 2027 dates and September 2027 departures. Confirm the exact date, room availability, and transfer schedule with the operator before you pay. [1][2][4]
A Sainte-Marie snorkeling quote should state the room, nights, meals, transfers, guide, gear, excursions, entrance fees, and cancellation terms. It should also say whether the price applies per person or per room. These details make package comparisons fair and clear.

"From start to finish, this tour was an unforgettable experience. When enquiring about planning this trip ,Tony was very responsive, informative and. answered all our questions as we went along .When my suitcase didn't arrive in Madagascar Tony sorted it for me and negotiated with the airline on my behalf, going above and beyond and was very much appreciated Our guides were all knowledgeable, friendly, and punctual and clearly passionate about what they do, which made the whole trip both fun and informative. The itinerary was perfectly balanced — we saw all the major highlights without ever feeling rushed, and there were plenty of opportunities to take photos, ask questions, and just soak up the atmosphere. The transportation was comfortable, everything ran smoothly and on time, and as it was a private tour we were able to spend as little or as much time at each place as we chose. Every stop had something unique to offer, and the insider stories and local tips really brought the culture to life. It’s rare to find a tour that gets every detail right, but this one truly did, guides were on time , transfers were smooth, everything was flexible to our wishes. Hugh thanks to Tony, Sidney, Princee and Nico. The drivers were all awesome and we always felt safe despite some roads been very African massage- bumpy ! We left with amazing memories, beautiful photos, and a much deeper appreciation for the country. I’d recommend it to anyone looking for an authentic and enjoyable experience. We would do it again in a heartbeat!"
"I highly recommend the Friendly Tour Guide Mada. The best cars I have seen on Madagascar, very clean, comfortable and modern. Drivers and tour guide are professionals! Very polite and helpful. Except 3 spots written in the description, expect visit to a very nice European restaurant with an amazing view! We are very happy, that we found this reliable tour operator. Thank you for everything ☺️"
"We have recently finished a 10 day tour of Madagascar in April 2025 using the operator “Madagascar Natural Tours” from start to finish it almost felt too good to be true, I have never met any one else from Australia who has been to Madagascar so we were very hesitant in whether it would be safe and had no idea how to organise a holiday there or what to expect. Harilala was extremely professional and communicative the entire way and answered every single (too many) questions of ours and made us feel comfortable and excited. He planned our itinerary just perfectly we listed a couple of things we had wanted to see - baobab avenue, lemurs and Nosy Be. He organised our whole itinerary, accomodation and flights for us so that it flowed seamlessly. He provided options in accomodation as we were seeking honeymoon style resorts. The hotels that he booked were beautiful, clean, great food and lovely staff! We had a few internal flights in our itinerary and it was so nice stepping off the plane and trusting that there would be a guide there waiting for us to get us to our hotel. The few times during our stay we had a question regarding our tour, Harilala would reply to our messages almost immediately and paid very careful attention to ensure we were happy and getting the most out of our tour. Using Madagascar Natural Tours took all stress out of the holiday / planning and allowed us to just show up and make memories of a lifetime! I would highly recommend this company to anybody curious to explore Madagascar! Particularly if you do not speak French, we struggled with the language barrier however all guides had amazing English which was such a relief. We can’t wait to come back in a few years time!!"
"We entrusted Harilala with our Madagascar tour, explaining what we wanted to see and visit. What can I say? He exceeded our expectations! Besides the wonderful tour, Solo and Fidele, our tour leaders, made the difference. We spent 20 days in Madagascar, and they flew by; everything was fantastic. We'll definitely be back to see the southernmost part of the country."
