Kruger National Park Packages 2027: Costs and Booking options start at £2,642 per person for selected flight-inclusive trips, while seven-night packages range from $1,815 to $3,355. Longer South Africa journeys cost $8,800 to $12,000 per person sharing. Book early for 2027 because some departure dates are already selling fast.
Kruger National Park holds a wide mix of safari trips, from three-day tented stays to 13-day journeys across southern Africa. That choice is useful, but it also makes price checks harder. What does the package include? How many game drives do you get? Does the rate cover flights, meals, transfers, and park activities?
Kruger National Park Packages 2027: Costs and Booking advice helps you answer those questions before you pay a deposit. This guide uses current research available in September 2026. It covers package prices, trip length, accommodation, booking timing, and the details that change the final bill.
Quick answer: A Kruger safari package in 2027 can cost £2,642 per person for a flight-inclusive trip, $1,815 for a seven-night Kruger and beach stay, or $3,355 for a seven-night safari and beach package. Longer 13-day trips cost $8,800 to $12,000 per person sharing. Compare inclusions before choosing.
Kruger National Park Packages 2027: Costs and Booking refers to organized trips that combine park visits with lodging, game drives, transfers, flights, or nearby destinations. The package length can be three days, seven nights, or 13 days. The final cost depends on accommodation, time in the park, vehicle type, activities, and excursions. [3]
Kruger National Park is a safari destination in South Africa's Kruger National Park. Travelers can choose a short tented safari, a lodge stay, or a wider route that adds Cape Town, Victoria Falls, Botswana, or a beach lodge.
Newmarket Holidays lists a 2027 itinerary with three open-air game drives, a wildlife rehabilitation-centre visit, and the Panorama Route. The route includes God's Window and Blyde River Canyon. The same itinerary is offered for travel in 2027, 2028, or 2029. [1]
Known for: Kruger packages are known for guided game drives, Big Five searches, permanent tented camps, private lodges, and combination trips. The right choice depends on how much time you want inside the park.
Best for: Short tented packages suit first-time visitors who want a focused safari. Seven-night combinations suit travelers who want a beach break after game drives. Longer routes suit travelers who want to see more of southern Africa in one trip.
Explore Kruger safari packages with verified operators to compare trip length, inclusions, and traveler reviews before requesting a quote.
A cheap headline price does not always mean a cheaper holiday. A package with flights may save planning time, while a land-only trip may give you more control. A lodge package can cost more than a permanent tented camp, but it may include different meals, services, and room features.
Safari operators also use different vehicle styles. Open-air vehicles may provide a wider view during drives. Other trips may use enclosed vehicles, especially for transfers or certain road routes. Ask which vehicle the operator uses before you book.
A three-day classic tented Kruger package includes permanent canvas tent accommodation inside Kruger National Park and guided game drives. [8] This option gives you a direct park stay without forcing you into a long multi-country itinerary.
Kruger safari package prices in 2027 range from £2,642 per person for selected flight-inclusive trips to $12,000 per person sharing for a 13-day southern Africa journey. Seven-night examples cost $1,815 or $3,355, while a 13-day Romantic Cape, Kruger and KwaZulu-Natal trip costs $8,800. [1] [5] [7]

| Selected flight-inclusive Kruger itinerary | From £2,642 per person | Not stated | Not stated | Travelers who want flights included |
| Kruger and Machangulo Beach Lodge | From $1,815 per person sharing | 7 nights | Not stated | Safari and beach holidays |
| Kruger and Vilanculos safari and beach trip | From $3,355 | 7 nights | Not stated | Travelers adding a beach stay |
| Romantic Cape, Kruger and KwaZulu-Natal | From $8,800 per person sharing | 13 days, 12 nights | Not stated | Couples and longer South Africa trips |

Voyage2Africa lists the seven-night Kruger and Machangulo Beach Lodge package at $1,815 per person sharing. It also lists a seven-night Kruger and Vilanculos safari and beach package at $3,355. [5] These prices show why beach extensions need a separate comparison.
Vencha Travel lists a 13-day and 12-night journey that includes Kruger, Cape Town, Victoria Falls, and Botswana at $12,000 per person sharing. The same source lists a 13-day and 12-night Romantic Cape, Kruger and KwaZulu-Natal itinerary at $8,800 per person sharing. [7]
Price range: Use £2,642 as a starting point for selected flight-inclusive travel. Use $1,815 to $3,355 for seven-night safari and beach examples. Use $8,800 to $12,000 for longer, premium routes. These are listed examples, not a fixed 2027 price for every operator.
Safari costs vary with accommodation, time in the park, vehicle type, activities, and excursions. [3] Flights, transfers, private guiding, meals, and beach extensions can also change the quote. Read the inclusion list line by line.
Compare Kruger tour operators and request quotes for your budget. SafariFind connects travelers with verified operators, package details, and authentic reviews.
Book a Kruger safari for 2027 by choosing your trip length first, then comparing the full list of inclusions. Start with the dates you can travel. Next, decide whether you want a short park stay, a beach extension, or a longer South Africa and regional route.
A three-day tented package works well when Kruger is one stop on a larger trip. A seven-night route gives you more time to combine game drives with a beach stay. A 13-day package suits travelers who want several destinations without arranging each transfer alone.
Newmarket's 2027 itinerary includes three open-air game drives, a rehabilitation-centre visit, and the Panorama Route. [1] This is a useful model for travelers who want wildlife plus scenery. It also shows why a package itinerary can include more than time inside the park.
Permanent canvas tents offer a simple safari base inside the park. Lodge packages may offer more room space and different meal plans. Ask where you sleep each night, how far the camp is from the park gate, and whether the rate includes transfers.
The phrase "lodge safari" covers many price levels. A private lodge, a public camp, and a classic tented camp do not offer the same service. SafariFind's guide to South Africa safari lodge rates by budget can help you compare the accommodation side of the trip.
Kruger works well with Cape Town, KwaZulu-Natal, and nearby beach destinations. Travelers who want another South African reserve can also review Hluhluwe-iMfolozi safari packages for 2027. That reserve is a different choice, so compare drive times and wildlife plans before adding it.
Travelers who prefer a shorter South African trip can compare Kruger with Pilanesberg walking safari packages. A walking safari changes the daily pace and activity style. It should not replace a Kruger plan if your main goal is several open-air game drives.
Ask each operator for one written quote with the same dates and room type. Request the total price, payment schedule, cancellation terms, and every included transfer. A clear quote makes the cheapest option easier to spot.
SafariFind reviews can help you check what previous travelers said about guides, timing, communication, and airport transfers. Read the full review rather than relying only on a star score.
The best booking practice is to reserve early, compare like for like, and confirm the details in writing. Research shows that Kruger packages are available from January 2027 to November 2029, but some 2027 dates are selling fast. [1]
Do not choose a package from the price alone. A flight-inclusive trip may be easier to manage. A land-only package may offer more choice. A private vehicle may cost more, but it can give your group a different daily plan.
Ask these questions before you pay:
Busy travelers may prefer a short tented stay. Couples may prefer a seven-night safari and beach package. Travelers with more time may enjoy a 13-day route that adds Cape Town, Victoria Falls, or Botswana.
Do you want a wider South Africa trip? SafariFind also lists the Kruger seven-day itinerary guide, which helps compare travel styles before you ask for quotes.
Write down the price, duration, room type, number of drives, flights, transfers, and review notes for each package. Then remove any quote that leaves major costs unclear. This simple step can prevent a low headline rate from becoming a costly surprise.
As of September 2026, 2027 planning is already active. Request quotes now if your dates are fixed. Keep two or three possible departure windows if you want more choice.

A Kruger safari can last three days, seven nights, or 13 days. Three days suits a short park visit. Seven nights works well for a safari and beach trip. A 13-day route suits travelers adding Cape Town, Victoria Falls, Botswana, or KwaZulu-Natal.

"Communications with Mack via email were swift and comprehensible. We were picked up at the airport on arrival by our guide, Thomas, who would be with us for the whole week. We signed up for a budget camping safari, and we had a great time! The campsites were nicer than I thought they would be, and the Kiliholidays team did a great job of taking care of us the whole trip. Thomas was very accommodating, and our 'stomach engineer' did a fantastic job the whole trip. My partner and I were very impressed by the quality of the food. Thomas was an incredible driver; a few times we had to stop and help other drivers who were stuck! This was my second visit to East Africa, and I will definitely book with Kiliholidays for my third trip :) A few tips for other travelers: The sleeping mattress was a bit thin for me (my partner had no trouble!), but I found that sleeping on my back instead of my side helped. If you have sensitive hips, I'd recommend bringing something to use as a cushion, or possibly arranging for an extra mattress. The tent was high-quality and the sleeping bags were warm. We stayed in Mto wa Mbu a few nights and it was quite hot there. We brought sleeping sacks (very thin) and used those instead. Bring LOTS of insect repellent and use it often (biting flies in the daytime, mosquitoes at night). Same with hand sanitizer (public campsite toilets don't usually have soap). Granola bars are a good idea, too, if you like to snack between meals. There's not a lot of access to ice, so if you like an evening adult-beverage, just ask your guide to stop before you leave Arusha to pick up some wine. We picked up a 5-liter box of South African wine for about 25euros and it was very convenient (bring your own cups!)."
5★ - "This is the second time I have traveled with my family with GoExplore. The first time was an amazing Uganda experience (already reviewed) and this second experience with my husband to Kenya was equally amazing. Brian org" - Sarah • Verified review
"This is the second time I have traveled with my family with GoExplore. The first time was an amazing Uganda experience (already reviewed) and this second experience with my husband to Kenya was equally amazing. Brian organized organized both tours for me and tailored them according to my wishes. As this is still the time of unsure flights and Covid difficulties, he was easily able to adapt to some changes with travel that were beyond our control. GoExplore is a boutique business that is very personalized and offers you the equal and more than a large corporate operator. The price point is compatible with group tours but you will have your own personal driver and guide for yourself and there is nothing to compare with this luxury. Because of that, you will also be able to adapt your days schedule if you wish according what you want and not what is a groups plan. We were completely happy and satisfied with all aspects of our travel (on both trips). Brian knows the safari tour industry and is constantly working to improve the business, his knowledge about lodges, the parks, restaurants and all minute aspects of the tour. He will be able to personally attest to the quality of whatever product he is recommending to you. Sammi was our driver in Kenya and we can only say that he was amazing. He knew more about wildlife (and every birds name and details) than an encyclopedia, was an amazingly adept driver in sometimes rough conditions (traffic, rough park roads, etc.) and looked out for our interests. While respecting the animals, he went above and beyond trying to make sure we saw every different animal we could. We appreciated that he obviously respected and cared about the animals we were seeing. (Not all safari drivers do and will do anything to try to get to see something up close, even while encroaching too much on their space.) We had a minor vehicle difficulty and Sammi made sure that everything went smoothly and we didn't miss a minute of our trip or schedule. He is quite an asset to GoExplore. Sammi only drives on Kenya trips but if you go to Uganda, I highly recommend Moses who was equally great. Overall, the trip was an unforgettable trip of a lifetime. If you haven't gone on a safari before, you should trip to put this on your life plan. There is nothing like it and when you plan it, you want a safari operator that will listen to your needs, wants, and budget and tailor it to fit you. GoExplore will do that in a personal way. Our lodges that Brian picked were magical and the food was outstanding. There was nothing about our trip that we would have changed. I highly recommend GoExplore if you want to travel to any of the countries they operate in. If not those countries, then reconsider them over the more commercialized ones (such as South Africa) and you won't be disappointed."

"We just finished a 2-week tour of South Africa with extension to Victoria Falls and the Monde Village Cultural Experience was one of the highlights of the entire trip. It is a must-do for anyone in the area. Tongesai (our guide) was very personable and worked with us to customize the experience. He was flexible and took time to explain many things that aren't part of the "regular tour". We had great conversations throughout the tour. He ended up dropping us off so late (8:30pm), his wife had to call him twice. He took a few pictures with us so he had alibi. :) Mr Ncube (our village host) and his family were welcoming and excited to show us their way of life. Mr Ncube's explanations of his culture, family structure, farming struggles, and discussions on many topics showed us a simple way of life, much different than our modern American ways, but it made so much sense. People here fight hard to live but they do it with a smile. They may be poor, but not in spirit. We asked many questions and received questions ourselves. It was as if I was visiting an uncle living in a rural part of a third-world country. This family made us felt at home. We wish we had more time to sit under the summer kitchen during a raining day, sharing food and chatting with these folks. We wish we could sit in the winter kitchen to hear him teach his children and grandchildren. Needless to say, we spent 4+ hrs at this experience and wanted more. I am now back to "civilization" in a nice Qatari hotel, but I kept thinking about my time in the simple Monde Village. What a breath of fresh air that was. I brought some extra clothes to give, but ended up giving as much as I could live without for the rest of my trip. A pair of sandals doesn't mean much to me, but it means a lot to people in these villages. This is 30+ hrs flight from home so it is a one-time chance to help; I had to make the best of it. If I can come back to this area, I will definitely bring more people to share in this amazing experience. I encourage all who come to Victoria Falls to add this cultural experience to their itinerary."

"Cultural Vibes Travel and Tours has proved to be excellent yet again as this is now the third time, we have used them and a much-needed break after almost 3 years with the Covid pandemic. Tongesai is extremely reliable, professional, knowledgeable and does everything to make your trip a memorable experience. Compared to local larger companies, Tongesai’s individual package rates are more reasonable and come with a customized touch. We felt that our holiday with Tongesai was much better and suited us more so than if we had booked through a larger company. His individual tailoring, personal involvement and attention to detail pays off in the smooth running of your trip. Our visits to the Victoria Falls, both sides from Zimbabwe and Zambia were magnificent and never cease to amaze us. On this trip Tongesai arranged for a private sunset cruise on the Zambezi just for our family of four instead of on the larger vessels, which was a very pleasant alternative. The boat trip in Chobe is magical and a must if you venture into Botswana. Wildlife was in abundance, including lion, elephant, wildebeest, buffalo, puku, kudu, bushbuck, waterbuck, impala, gemsbok, steenbok, sable and roan antelope, etc. We even saw a relative of Cecil, the famous black-maned lion, ‘once a true king of Hwange National Park’. I have no hesitation in recommending the company for arranging tours in Zimbabwe, Zambia and Botswana - we will definitely be seeing him again. He is currently setting up arrangements with colleagues in Kruger National Park to venture into South Africa and I wish him every success with that."

"We booked our Zimbabwe trip with Cultural Vibes Travel & Tours following a recommendation from Nhongo Safaris in South Africa. Tongesai is a great communicator, and the booking process was quick, easy, and well organized. We were happy with the quote provided and were able to easily pay online. Tongesai was waiting for us at Victoria Falls Airport to take us to our accommodation. He has arranged an amazing whirlwind 48 hour visit, that was packed with a sunset cruise on the Zambezi, Morning Game drive, he accompanied us on an amazing walk of the Victoria falls and arranged an African experience dinner in the evening. It was so memorable, and everything we wanted! Overall, it was an fantastic trip, with a great guide, and we would highly recommend it for anyone considering a trip to Victoria Falls. For our next visit, we will definitely be reaching out to Tongesai and thoroughly recommend to all our friends."
