Kasanka National Park safari packages in 2027 cost from €3,890 per person sharing for a 15-day walking safari, or from $4,760 per person through a SafariFind-listed package. Listed 2027 walking safari departures run in July, August, and October. A bat-migration trip is another strong choice for travelers who want Kasanka with South Luangwa.
Kasanka has a rare safari price story. One 15-day walking trip costs €3,890 per person sharing, while another listed option starts at $4,760 per person. [1] [3] Those prices reflect long guided trips, rather than a short park visit.
SafariFind connects travelers with verified tour operators and package information. This guide explains the real 2027 prices, departure dates, entry fees, trip types, and planning steps. It also shows where Kasanka fits within a wider Zambia safari.
Kasanka is a good match for travelers who prefer walking, remote parks, and unusual wildlife events. The park also works well in a wider northern Zambia route. You can compare it with the Luambe National Park safari guide when building a longer trip.
Kasanka National Park safari packages in 2027 are guided trips that place the park inside a longer Zambia itinerary. The clearest listed options last 15 days and focus on walking. Other trips combine Kasanka with South Luangwa, Kafue, or Liuwa Plain. Prices therefore reflect route length, guiding, and the number of parks visited.
Kasanka National Park is known for walking safaris and its seasonal fruit bat migration. The available research lists a bat-migration safari that combines South Luangwa and Kasanka. That eight-day trip starts at £5,644, excluding flights. [6]
Kasanka safari packages suit travelers who want time outside a vehicle. The 15-day walking safari listed on SafariFind starts at $4,760 per person and is linked with Bundu Safaris Ltd. [1] Bundu Adventures lists a similar 15-day walking safari at €3,890 per person sharing. The trip requires at least four participants and allows up to eight. [3]
Kasanka also appears in wider routes. Responsible Travel lists an eight-day Zambia itinerary covering Kasanka, Kafue, and Liuwa Plain National Parks from £8,975, including UK flights. The company describes this itinerary as tailor-made throughout the year. [4]
That wider route costs more because it includes several parks and UK flights. It may suit travelers who want a broad Zambia trip. A walking safari costs less than that route in the listed currency, but it lasts almost twice as long.
Compare Kasanka safari packages and request a quote through SafariFind before choosing a 2027 departure.
A package name can hide a major difference in trip style. A walking safari gives you a slower view of the bush. A multi-park route gives you wider coverage. A bat-migration trip focuses on a seasonal wildlife event and adds South Luangwa.
SafariFind lets travelers compare verified operators, package details, and authentic reviews. Read each itinerary closely. Check the number of walking days, park list, flights, and group size before paying a deposit.
Kasanka safari packages in 2027 start at €3,890 per person sharing for a 15-day walking safari. A SafariFind-listed walking safari starts at $4,760 per person. Broader eight-day Zambia trips cost £5,644 or £8,975, depending on the route and whether flights are included. [1] [3] [4] [6]
| Package or route | Duration | Starting price | Key detail |
|---|---|---|---|
| Bundu Adventures walking safari | 15 days | €3,890 per person sharing | Minimum 4 and maximum 8 participants |
| SafariFind walking safari with Bundu Safaris Ltd | 15 days | $4,760 per person | Group joining walking safari |
| Bat-migration safari with South Luangwa and Kasanka | 8 days | £5,644 excluding flights | Tailor-made safari |
| Kasanka, Kafue, and Liuwa Plain route | 8 days | £8,975 including UK flights | Tailor-made throughout the year |
The €3,890 price is the clearest starting point for a shared walking safari. Bundu Adventures also lists a €290 single supplement per person. [3] A solo traveler should add that supplement to the sharing rate when planning a private room or single occupancy.
Currency changes can affect your final cost. The prices above use the currencies shown by each operator. Do not compare the figures as if they were one currency. Ask for a quote in your home currency and check what the package includes.
Compare Zambia safari costs for 2027 to see how Kasanka fits within a longer trip budget.
Flights are one clear difference. The £8,975 route includes UK flights, while the £5,644 bat-migration safari excludes flights. [4] [6] That gap makes a direct price comparison misleading.
Group size also matters. The Bundu Adventures walking safari requires four participants and caps the group at eight. [3] A shared departure can spread some trip costs across more travelers. The single supplement raises the price for solo occupancy.
Park fees are another budget item. Cheetah Safaris reports a Kasanka entry fee of US$25 for non-resident adults. Children aged 6 to 15 pay US$12, and children under 6 enter free. [8] Confirm how the operator handles these fees before booking.
The best 2027 booking dates depend on the package you choose. Bundu Adventures lists departures from 14 to 28 July, 17 to 31 August, and 20 October to 3 November. [3] These are the clearest fixed dates in the available package information, so travelers should plan around them early.
July is a useful choice for travelers who want the first listed walking departure. The trip runs from 14 to 28 July 2027. August offers a second window, from 17 to 31 August. October provides the final listed window, from 20 October to 3 November. [3]
The bat-migration option adds a different reason to visit. Responsible Travel describes millions of bats moving across South Luangwa and Kasanka. Its eight-day safari starts at £5,644 without flights. [6] Travelers focused on bats should ask the operator to confirm the expected timing for 2027.
Seasonal claims need care. Wildlife sightings, road conditions, and weather can change. The safest plan is to choose a listed departure, then ask the operator for current conditions and a full packing list.
Kasanka works best as part of a planned Zambia route. Package details should tell you where the trip starts, which transfers are included, and whether domestic flights or road transfers cost extra. Those details can change the total budget more than the park entry fee.
Travelers adding western Zambia can review the seven-day Zambia safari itinerary for 2027. Travelers adding a waterfall stop can also read the Chishimba Waterfall package guide. These routes help you decide whether Kasanka belongs at the start or end of your trip.
Do not assume every Zambia package includes the same transfers. Ask for the start city, final airport, transfer times, and luggage rules. A clear route helps you avoid costly last-minute changes.
The right Kasanka package depends on your travel style, budget, and interest in walking or seasonal wildlife. Choose the €3,890 walking safari for a small shared group. Choose the $4,760 listing for another 15-day walking option. Choose a bat-migration route if South Luangwa also matters.
These questions protect your budget. They also reveal whether the trip matches your fitness level. Walking safaris demand more from travelers than vehicle-based drives, so ask about daily walking time and terrain.
SafariFind gives travelers a place to compare operators and read authentic reviews. Use the package page, operator details, and quote process together. A low starting price is useful only when you understand the inclusions.
For a different Zambia wildlife plan, compare the Luangwa Valley night drive packages. Night drives can change the feel of a trip, while Kasanka offers a stronger fit for walking and bat migration.
Prepare for a Kasanka walking safari by confirming the route, group size, entry fees, and departure date. Pack light clothing, closed walking shoes, sun protection, and a small day bag. The operator should provide the full equipment list and explain luggage limits before departure.
Start with the fixed dates. The listed 2027 departures run in July, August, and October. [3] Then compare the €3,890 sharing price with the $4,760 SafariFind listing. [1] [3] Keep currencies separate until you receive a final quote.
Next, check the group rules. Bundu Adventures lists four participants as the minimum and eight as the maximum. [3] Ask whether the group has already reached the minimum. This question matters because a walking trip may depend on enough confirmed guests.
Park fees should also appear in your budget. Non-resident adults pay US$25, children aged 6 to 15 pay US$12, and children under 6 enter free, according to Cheetah Safaris. [8] Ask if the operator collects this amount before arrival.
Request a written itinerary. It should show each park, overnight stop, transfer, meal plan, and activity. It should also state whether flights are included. The £5,644 bat-migration route excludes flights, while the £8,975 multi-park route includes UK flights. [4] [6]
Read the cancellation terms before you send money. Check deposit rules, date changes, medical needs, and travel insurance. A 15-day trip needs more planning than a short park extension.
Keep your booking papers in one place. Save the operator name, emergency contact, receipt, insurance details, and flight information. Share the final itinerary with someone at home.
Pack for movement rather than style. Walking days can feel long when you carry too much. Ask the operator whether laundry, water, and luggage storage are included.
Kasanka National Park safari packages in 2027 start at €3,890 per person sharing for a 15-day walking safari. A separate SafariFind-listed walking safari starts at $4,760 per person. Wider eight-day Zambia routes start at £5,644 or £8,975, depending on flights and parks included. [1] [3] [4] [6]

"On 10.9. until 1.10. In 2023, I went on a trip to Botswana, Zimbabwe and a short visit to Zambia with my clients - friends. I carefully prepared the trip in cooperation with the manager of Cultural Vibes Travel & Tours, Mr. Tongesai Mutematsaka. After arriving in Gaborone we organized a short tour of the city ourselves and met Tongesai in Maun. Tongesai was our driver and guide practically the whole way. We visited the Okavango River Delta and its surroundings (Moremi Reserve, Mokoro boat cruise, flight over the Okavango Delta. This was followed by a visit to the Makgadikgadi Salt Flats, then the Elephant Sands area and in Botswana Chobe National Park with a cruise on the Chobe River. Then we crossed to Zimbabwe, which was the main part of our journey. In the Victoria Falls area, we visited the Monde settlement, took a helicopter flight over Victoria Falls, followed by a cruise on the Zambezi River as part of a visit to the national park of the same name. We also walked past Victoria Falls on the Zimbabwean side and had a Boma dinner in the evening (too much of a "tourist thing"). On the Zambian side of the falls we saw white rhinos in Mosi - oa - Tunya National Park, then visited the museum in Livingstone and walked the Zambian side of the falls. From Victoria Falls, we headed to Hwange National Park, where we had a beautiful program - a safari, and after Hwange, there was also a very interesting program in Matobo National Park (there, among other things, white rhinos (a mother with her little daughter), beautiful rock formations and prehistoric cave drawings. The next place visited was Khami with very interesting buildings, and then we visited the ruins of Great Zimbabwe, which are among the most important world monuments. This was followed by a visit to the Chinhoya Karst and finally the gallery in Harare. I would also like to comment on the provision of services: Accommodation in the hotels was at the standard, expected level, only the service at the Great Zimbabwe Hotel was rather lazy. Accommodation in lodges - very good and the best accommodation was in Iganyana tented camp in Hwange National Park, mainly due to the extraordinary professionalism and very friendly attitude of the staff there towards us, the visitors. I must also highly praise all the local guides we met everywhere, e.g. in Chobe, Hwange and Matobo National Parks. I want to emphasize that this journey is one of the most interesting that I have made around the world. I believe that my clients - friends were also satisfied with the set. Thanks to the travel agency Cultural Vibes Travel & Tours and Mr. Tongesai Mutematsaka. I recommend Cultural Vibes Travel & Tours to anyone considering a trip to Zimbabwe."

"Tongesai was awesome from the start. I knew he was a good tour operator because he answered all of my questions in a timely manner and no question was ever stupid. Everything was just as he said once we arrived and really it was better. We prepared for about a year in advance for this trip and the tour operator was instrumental and making this trip a success. I highly recommend this tour operator to anyone who wants to visit Zimbabwe, Zambia, and Botswana. Give Tongesai a call or email, and you will 100% not be disappointed. I have a very deep understanding of border crossing and transportation challenges in many African countries at this point because of the efforts of the tour operator. This makes my wife and I have very comfortable to approach another visit or look at visiting a different African country."
