A 3-day Kruger safari from Hazyview is listed at $890 per person for 2027, while longer South Africa trips reach $3,200. That price gap makes package comparison worth your time. Hazyview is a practical base for Kruger trips, Panorama Route travel, and multi-stop journeys that include Victoria Falls or Cape Town.
Hazyview safari packages for 2027 start at $890 per person for a 3-day Kruger Wildlife Safari. Longer tours cost $1,250 for four days, $2,270 for nine days, and $3,200 for ten days. October 2026 is a useful time to compare 2027 availability, prices, and verified operators through SafariFind.
Hazyview safari packages connect a town near the Kruger area with short wildlife trips and longer regional tours. The listed options include a 3-day Kruger Wildlife Safari at $890 per person and a 4-day Kruger Safari and Panorama Route tour at $1,250 per person. These packages suit travelers who want a clear length and price before they book.
Hazyview also appears within wider South Africa itineraries. A GEEO trip begins and ends in Johannesburg, then travels to Greater Kruger Park, Kruger National Park, and Hazyview. The itinerary includes open-vehicle drives, a nature walk, a braai, and cultural activities. [1]
South Africa is a strong choice for travelers who want to combine safari time with city or waterfall stops. The listed 9-day Victoria Falls, Kruger, and Cape Town tour costs $2,530 per person. A 9-day Signature South Africa Tour costs $2,270 per person. [2]
Kruger National Park is the main safari focus for Hazyview-based trips. SafariFind has a dedicated Kruger National Park destination guide for travelers comparing this area with other South African wildlife destinations.
Hazyview safari packages are useful when you want a short first safari. A 3-day trip gives you a simple plan. A 4-day package adds the Panorama Route. A 7-day package reaches Kruger, Victoria Falls, Hwange, and Chobe. The right choice depends on how much driving and travel time you want.
SafariFind connects travelers with verified tour operators and package listings. You can read authentic reviews, compare prices, and request a quote before making a final choice.
Compare 3-day Hazyview safari packages from $890 if you want a short Kruger trip in 2027.
Hazyview safari packages cost $890 to $3,200 per person across the listed 2027 multi-day tours. The shortest listed trip is three days, while the longest is ten days. Private Kruger drives cost R6,400 for a half-day and R9,800 for an extended full-day with Legend Safaris. [2][4]
| Package | Duration | Price per person | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|
| Kruger Wildlife Safari | 3 days | $890 | Short wildlife trip |
| Kruger Safari and Panorama Route | 4 days | $1,250 | Safari and scenic road trip |
| Kruger, Victoria Falls, Hwange and Chobe Safari | 7 days | $2,360 | Multi-country wildlife route |
| Signature South Africa Tour | 9 days | $2,270 | Wider South Africa trip |
| Victoria Falls, Kruger and Cape Town | 9 days | $2,530 | Safari, falls, and city travel |
| South Africa Wildlife Safari | 10 days | $3,200 | Longer wildlife itinerary |
The 3-day Kruger Wildlife Safari is the lowest listed multi-day price at $890 per person. The 4-day Kruger and Panorama Route trip adds one day and costs $1,250. That difference is $360, so travelers should decide whether the extra route fits their plans.
The 9-day Signature South Africa Tour costs less than the 7-day regional safari listed at $2,360. However, price alone does not show the full travel plan. The 7-day package includes Victoria Falls, Hwange, and Chobe, while the 9-day Signature tour covers South Africa. Read each itinerary before comparing the totals.
Legend Safaris lists private Kruger safaris at R6,400 for a half-day and R9,800 for an extended full-day. [4] A private drive gives you a shorter booking option than the multi-day packages. It may suit travelers who already have accommodation in Hazyview.
Price range: $890 to $3,200 per person for the listed multi-day packages. Private drive rates use South African rand, with R6,400 to R9,800 listed for the two Legend Safaris options. Keep the currencies separate when you compare quotes.
Request quotes from verified safari operators for your 2027 budget before you choose a package or private drive.
The best Hazyview safari package depends on your available days and the number of places you want to visit. Choose the $890 3-day tour for a short Kruger trip. Choose the $1,250 4-day tour for Kruger and the Panorama Route. Choose a 7-day or 9-day tour when you want a wider regional route.
The 3-day Kruger Wildlife Safari is best for first-time safari travelers with limited time. Its listed price is $890 per person. A short plan keeps the trip focused on Kruger rather than adding several long transfers.
Hazyview safari packages with three days can also fit travelers who are adding a safari to another South Africa holiday. You can spend fewer days on the road and keep time for other stops. Ask the operator what the itinerary includes before you pay a deposit.
The 4-day Kruger Safari and Panorama Route tour costs $1,250 per person. This option adds the Panorama Route to the Kruger focus. It suits travelers who want more than game drives but do not want a week-long trip.
The Panorama Route choice also gives you a simple way to compare a four-day plan with a three-day plan. The extra day costs $360 on the listed prices. That difference may make sense if the route is a key reason for your visit.
The 7-day Kruger, Victoria Falls, Hwange, and Chobe Safari costs $2,360 per person. The tour combines four named wildlife or travel areas. It fits travelers who want a larger trip rather than a single Kruger stay. [2]
The 9-day Victoria Falls, Kruger, and Cape Town tour costs $2,530 per person. This plan adds Cape Town to the safari and waterfall route. The 10-day South Africa Wildlife Safari costs $3,200 per person and gives travelers the longest listed itinerary.
SafariFind also lists other South African wildlife areas. You can compare Kruger with Hluhluwe-iMfolozi Game Reserve, uMkhuze Game Reserve, and Addo Elephant National Park when you want a broader destination search.
Book a Hazyview safari by choosing your trip length, checking the full itinerary, comparing the total price, and reviewing the operator. Start with the three-day, four-day, seven-day, nine-day, and ten-day options. Then check what each quote includes before you commit.
Start with a clear number of days. The listed Hazyview safari packages run from three to ten days. Set a budget in the same currency as the package. For example, $890 is a United States dollar price, while Legend Safaris lists private drives in South African rand.
Next, decide if you want a package or a private drive. A package may include a longer route. A private drive may suit travelers who already arranged a Hazyview hotel. The two options serve different needs, so compare them as separate products.
A GEEO itinerary starts and ends in Johannesburg and includes Greater Kruger Park, Kruger National Park, and Hazyview. It also includes open-vehicle drives, a nature walk, a braai, and cultural activities. [1] These details show why route information matters.
Read every overnight stop and transfer point. A tour that includes Victoria Falls, Hwange, Chobe, or Cape Town covers more ground than a short Kruger trip. More destinations may suit you, but they also shape the pace of the holiday.
SafariFind lets you compare verified tour operators, package prices, and authentic traveler reviews. Look for a clear itinerary, a named operator, and a quote that matches the advertised price. Ask about anything that could change the total before you book.
Use the SafariFind guide to booking a safari from Hazyview as a second planning reference. You can also review practical advice about getting around South Africa by road and air.
Confirm the starting point, ending point, travel dates, group size, and payment terms. Check whether the quote covers accommodation, transport, meals, activities, and park access. These details affect the real value of Hazyview safari packages.
Keep your booking records in one place. Save the quote, payment schedule, operator contact, and final itinerary. That simple habit makes changes easier if your 2027 travel plans move.
Check the price, route, length, operator, and included activities before booking Hazyview safari packages. A low headline price does not tell you the full trip. Compare the same details across each option so your decision rests on like-for-like information.
Travelers who want a wider South Africa plan can also compare Mapungubwe National Park or MalaMala Private Game Reserve. These links help you see how different destinations fit your travel style. Keep Hazyview as your starting point if Kruger access is your main goal.
Money planning matters too. SafariFind’s guide to money, cards, and tipping in South Africa can help you prepare for local spending. Use the same currency when you compare package prices, private drives, and extra costs.
Safety planning should stay practical. Read current government advice before departure, keep valuables secure, and follow your guide’s instructions. SafariFind’s South Africa safety guide gives travelers a separate place to review general travel planning.

"We made our reservations with 50% down-payment way back in Feb-26, 4 months before our trip in June and balance 50% one month before departure from Singapore. We were not sure and worried a bit whether things would turn out as described and promised, as this is our first ever trip to South Africa. All our worries disappeared from the moment we were picked up upon arrival according to the itinerary, and subsequent daily trips were excellent in view of timing, routes, transports, accommodations, meals, and to the local guides and drivers assigned. Everything is above and beyond our expectations, and we sincerely thank Safari Tailors for providing us such a memorable trip of our life!"

"Communications with Mack via email were swift and comprehensible. We were picked up at the airport on arrival by our guide, Thomas, who would be with us for the whole week. We signed up for a budget camping safari, and we had a great time! The campsites were nicer than I thought they would be, and the Kiliholidays team did a great job of taking care of us the whole trip. Thomas was very accommodating, and our 'stomach engineer' did a fantastic job the whole trip. My partner and I were very impressed by the quality of the food. Thomas was an incredible driver; a few times we had to stop and help other drivers who were stuck! This was my second visit to East Africa, and I will definitely book with Kiliholidays for my third trip :) A few tips for other travelers: The sleeping mattress was a bit thin for me (my partner had no trouble!), but I found that sleeping on my back instead of my side helped. If you have sensitive hips, I'd recommend bringing something to use as a cushion, or possibly arranging for an extra mattress. The tent was high-quality and the sleeping bags were warm. We stayed in Mto wa Mbu a few nights and it was quite hot there. We brought sleeping sacks (very thin) and used those instead. Bring LOTS of insect repellent and use it often (biting flies in the daytime, mosquitoes at night). Same with hand sanitizer (public campsite toilets don't usually have soap). Granola bars are a good idea, too, if you like to snack between meals. There's not a lot of access to ice, so if you like an evening adult-beverage, just ask your guide to stop before you leave Arusha to pick up some wine. We picked up a 5-liter box of South African wine for about 25euros and it was very convenient (bring your own cups!)."
5★ - "This is the second time I have traveled with my family with GoExplore. The first time was an amazing Uganda experience (already reviewed) and this second experience with my husband to Kenya was equally amazing. Brian org" - Sarah • Verified review
"This is the second time I have traveled with my family with GoExplore. The first time was an amazing Uganda experience (already reviewed) and this second experience with my husband to Kenya was equally amazing. Brian organized organized both tours for me and tailored them according to my wishes. As this is still the time of unsure flights and Covid difficulties, he was easily able to adapt to some changes with travel that were beyond our control. GoExplore is a boutique business that is very personalized and offers you the equal and more than a large corporate operator. The price point is compatible with group tours but you will have your own personal driver and guide for yourself and there is nothing to compare with this luxury. Because of that, you will also be able to adapt your days schedule if you wish according what you want and not what is a groups plan. We were completely happy and satisfied with all aspects of our travel (on both trips). Brian knows the safari tour industry and is constantly working to improve the business, his knowledge about lodges, the parks, restaurants and all minute aspects of the tour. He will be able to personally attest to the quality of whatever product he is recommending to you. Sammi was our driver in Kenya and we can only say that he was amazing. He knew more about wildlife (and every birds name and details) than an encyclopedia, was an amazingly adept driver in sometimes rough conditions (traffic, rough park roads, etc.) and looked out for our interests. While respecting the animals, he went above and beyond trying to make sure we saw every different animal we could. We appreciated that he obviously respected and cared about the animals we were seeing. (Not all safari drivers do and will do anything to try to get to see something up close, even while encroaching too much on their space.) We had a minor vehicle difficulty and Sammi made sure that everything went smoothly and we didn't miss a minute of our trip or schedule. He is quite an asset to GoExplore. Sammi only drives on Kenya trips but if you go to Uganda, I highly recommend Moses who was equally great. Overall, the trip was an unforgettable trip of a lifetime. If you haven't gone on a safari before, you should trip to put this on your life plan. There is nothing like it and when you plan it, you want a safari operator that will listen to your needs, wants, and budget and tailor it to fit you. GoExplore will do that in a personal way. Our lodges that Brian picked were magical and the food was outstanding. There was nothing about our trip that we would have changed. I highly recommend GoExplore if you want to travel to any of the countries they operate in. If not those countries, then reconsider them over the more commercialized ones (such as South Africa) and you won't be disappointed."

"We just finished a 2-week tour of South Africa with extension to Victoria Falls and the Monde Village Cultural Experience was one of the highlights of the entire trip. It is a must-do for anyone in the area. Tongesai (our guide) was very personable and worked with us to customize the experience. He was flexible and took time to explain many things that aren't part of the "regular tour". We had great conversations throughout the tour. He ended up dropping us off so late (8:30pm), his wife had to call him twice. He took a few pictures with us so he had alibi. :) Mr Ncube (our village host) and his family were welcoming and excited to show us their way of life. Mr Ncube's explanations of his culture, family structure, farming struggles, and discussions on many topics showed us a simple way of life, much different than our modern American ways, but it made so much sense. People here fight hard to live but they do it with a smile. They may be poor, but not in spirit. We asked many questions and received questions ourselves. It was as if I was visiting an uncle living in a rural part of a third-world country. This family made us felt at home. We wish we had more time to sit under the summer kitchen during a raining day, sharing food and chatting with these folks. We wish we could sit in the winter kitchen to hear him teach his children and grandchildren. Needless to say, we spent 4+ hrs at this experience and wanted more. I am now back to "civilization" in a nice Qatari hotel, but I kept thinking about my time in the simple Monde Village. What a breath of fresh air that was. I brought some extra clothes to give, but ended up giving as much as I could live without for the rest of my trip. A pair of sandals doesn't mean much to me, but it means a lot to people in these villages. This is 30+ hrs flight from home so it is a one-time chance to help; I had to make the best of it. If I can come back to this area, I will definitely bring more people to share in this amazing experience. I encourage all who come to Victoria Falls to add this cultural experience to their itinerary."

"Cultural Vibes Travel and Tours has proved to be excellent yet again as this is now the third time, we have used them and a much-needed break after almost 3 years with the Covid pandemic. Tongesai is extremely reliable, professional, knowledgeable and does everything to make your trip a memorable experience. Compared to local larger companies, Tongesai’s individual package rates are more reasonable and come with a customized touch. We felt that our holiday with Tongesai was much better and suited us more so than if we had booked through a larger company. His individual tailoring, personal involvement and attention to detail pays off in the smooth running of your trip. Our visits to the Victoria Falls, both sides from Zimbabwe and Zambia were magnificent and never cease to amaze us. On this trip Tongesai arranged for a private sunset cruise on the Zambezi just for our family of four instead of on the larger vessels, which was a very pleasant alternative. The boat trip in Chobe is magical and a must if you venture into Botswana. Wildlife was in abundance, including lion, elephant, wildebeest, buffalo, puku, kudu, bushbuck, waterbuck, impala, gemsbok, steenbok, sable and roan antelope, etc. We even saw a relative of Cecil, the famous black-maned lion, ‘once a true king of Hwange National Park’. I have no hesitation in recommending the company for arranging tours in Zimbabwe, Zambia and Botswana - we will definitely be seeing him again. He is currently setting up arrangements with colleagues in Kruger National Park to venture into South Africa and I wish him every success with that."
