One Etosha drive rate starts at N$3,900 per vehicle for five guests or fewer, but the published rate is listed as a half-day drive rather than a confirmed night drive. [2]
Etosha night drive prices in 2027 start from N$3,900 per vehicle for groups of up to five, based on the published half-day drive rate. Guided Namibia safari packages start at about US$300 per day, while luxury stays at Ongava Tented Camp start from R1,980 per person per night. Confirm 2027 night-drive schedules and prices before booking.
Etosha Night Drive Prices 2027: Safari Packages & Booking depend on the drive format, group size, park fees, vehicle, and accommodation. The main published figure is N$3,900 per vehicle for five guests or fewer. However, the source describes this as a half-day safari-drive rate. It does not confirm that the rate applies to an official night drive. [2]
Etosha National Park is one of Namibia’s main safari destinations. Travelers can visit independently, join a guided camping trip, or stay at a private reserve near the park. These choices create very different budgets. This guide separates confirmed prices from estimates and explains what to ask before booking for 2027.
Quick answer: Etosha night drive prices for 2027 require written confirmation because the published N$3,900 figure is a half-day rate, not a confirmed night-drive price. Budget packages start near US$300 per day, while Ongava Tented Camp starts at R1,980 per person per night. Park entry and vehicle fees apply separately in many arrangements.
SafariFind connects travelers with verified tour operators, safari packages, and authentic traveler reviews. You can compare costs for Namibia safari trips before choosing between a rental car, guided vehicle, or luxury lodge.
Etosha night drive prices in 2027 are best treated as a quote-based cost until an operator confirms the activity. The published N$3,900 rate covers a vehicle for up to five guests, but the available excerpt labels it a half-day safari drive. Therefore, ask whether your booking includes a true night drive, a sunset drive, or a private-reserve activity. [2]
Etosha National Park offers a large park experience with several ways to explore. A self-drive safari gives you control over timing and stops. A guided drive adds a trained driver and local planning. A lodge or reserve stay may add scheduled drives, meals, and transfers.
The term “night drive” needs special care. A park drive and a private-reserve night drive are not automatically the same product. Ongava Tented Camp, for example, offers day and night drives on the private 74,000-acre Ongava Game Reserve near Etosha. Its listed rate starts at R1,980 per person per night. [4]
Etosha National Park entry fees are charged per person, per day. Foreign adults pay NAD 280. SADC adults pay NAD 180, and Namibian adults pay NAD 60. Children under 16 enter free. [1] These fees can change the final cost of a self-drive trip, especially when you stay several days.
Compare Etosha safari packages and 2027 operator quotes to see which plans include drives, park fees, camping gear, and accommodation.
A half-day drive rate cannot answer every night-drive pricing question. It may exclude park entry, meals, lodging, transfers, or private vehicle use. A package may also use a different currency or charge per person instead of per vehicle. Request an itemized quote before paying a deposit.
Etosha safari packages in 2027 range from budget camping tours near US$300 per day to luxury stays from R1,980 per person per night. The budget figure includes park fees, Etosha game drives, camping equipment, accommodation, and other Namibia activities in one listed package. [3] Final prices still depend on the route and inclusions.
| Name | Price | Duration | Rating | Best For |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Etosha half-day vehicle drive | From N$3,900 per vehicle | Half day | Not provided | Groups of five or fewer |
| Etosha Village morning drive | N$1,390 per person sharing in 2026 | Morning | Not provided | Guests seeking a guided park drive |
| Etosha Village full-day drive | N$1,650 per person sharing in 2026 | Full day | Not provided | Guests wanting more drive time |
| Budget Namibia package | About US$300 per day | Multi-day package | Not provided | Value-focused campers |
| Ongava Tented Camp | From R1,980 per person per night | Per night | Not provided | Luxury and private-reserve guests |
Etosha Village lists a 2026 morning game drive at N$1,390 per person sharing. Its 2026 full-day drive costs N$1,650 per person sharing. [6] The same source lists 2027 drive rates, but the provided information does not show those 2027 amounts. Treat the 2026 figures as a planning reference, not a 2027 quote.
Vehicle fees add another line to a self-drive budget. Vehicles with 10 seats or fewer cost NAD 60 per day. Vehicles with 11 to 25 seats cost NAD 150 per day. Vehicles with 26 to 50 seats cost NAD 600 per day. [1] The passenger fee and vehicle fee are separate charges.
A family of four foreign adults staying one day would pay NAD 1,120 in park entry fees before vehicle costs. A child under 16 does not add an entry fee, according to the published park-fee information. [1] Multi-day stays multiply the daily charge, so confirm whether your package includes every park day.
Camping packages can offer strong value because one listed budget tour includes park fees, game drives, camping equipment, and accommodation for about US$300 per day. [3] Luxury packages usually price by person and night. They may include meals, guided drives, and lodge service, but you must confirm each item.
Request a quote from verified Namibia safari operators when your budget has a firm limit. Ask for the total price, currency, taxes, park fees, drive type, and cancellation terms in writing.
Ongava Tented Camp is a private-reserve option rather than a simple park-entry product. Its listed starting rate is R1,980 per person per night, and the reserve covers 74,000 acres beside Etosha. [4] This option suits travelers who want day and night drives within a lodge-based stay.
Budget travelers should compare the cost of a rental car, fuel, campsites, food, park fees, and drives. A package may appear more expensive at first, yet include several costs that self-drive guests pay separately. This is why an itemized comparison gives a clearer answer than the drive price alone.
Book an Etosha night drive by confirming the location, operator, drive hours, guest limit, and full 2027 price. Start with the activity name, then ask whether it takes place inside Etosha National Park or on a nearby private reserve. This single detail prevents many booking mistakes.
Etosha National Park is not interchangeable with a private reserve beside it. The published Ongava information confirms day and night drives on its private reserve. [4] The published N$3,900 figure confirms a half-day vehicle rate, but not a night-drive rate. [2] Ask the operator to state the exact activity in the itinerary.
A Namibia self drive safari works well for travelers who want a flexible route and control over stops. Build a daily budget that includes park entry, vehicle fees, fuel, accommodation, food, and any guided drive. Then compare that total with a guided package that includes several services.
SafariFind’s Namibia self-drive cost and route planner can help you review the wider trip budget. Travelers focused on a shorter route can also read the six-day Namibia self-drive itinerary under $2,000 for planning ideas.
Etosha Village provides a useful rate benchmark, but its available 2027 prices are not shown in the supplied listing. [6] Use current figures only as a guide. A verified operator should confirm the exact 2027 amount before you book.
Useful add-ons can change the wider Namibia budget. Travelers adding the coast can review Dolphin Beach Namibia packages for 2027. Those combining wildlife with desert scenery can compare the Deadvlei self-drive cost guide.
The most important booking rule is simple: separate confirmed rates from planning estimates. Use the N$3,900 vehicle rate as a reference for a half-day drive, not proof of a night-drive price. Use the US$300 daily package and R1,980 luxury rate as starting points, then request a complete 2027 quote.
Budget camping packages start at about US$300 per day in the listed example. [3] A private-reserve luxury stay starts from R1,980 per person per night at Ongava Tented Camp. [4] These prices use different currencies and package structures, so direct conversion alone does not create a fair comparison.
Park fees create a clear baseline. Foreign adults pay NAD 280 per day, while vehicles with 10 seats or fewer pay NAD 60 per day. [1] Add those charges when comparing a self-drive plan with a guided package. A package that includes fees may reduce surprise costs at the gate.
“Safari Namibia luxus” usually signals a lodge or private-reserve experience rather than a basic camping route. Ongava Tented Camp is a clear example from the supplied data. It offers day and night drives on a private 74,000-acre reserve and starts from R1,980 per person per night. [4]
Luxury guests should ask about room type, meals, transfers, drive frequency, and private vehicle options. A low starting rate may cover a shared room or shared drive. Therefore, request the room and activity details that match your travel plan.
As of August 2026, 2027 travel planning is open, but the supplied sources do not show every 2027 drive price. The Etosha Village listing confirms that 2027 rates exist, while the excerpt does not display them. [6] Confirm availability and prices directly before treating any estimate as final.
Travelers seeking a wider route can compare the 10-day Namibia self-drive itinerary and cost guide. Visitors planning a northern stop can also review the Kamanjab 2027 self-drive guide. These pages help place Etosha inside a longer Namibia trip.
Etosha night drive prices in 2027 require confirmation, but the published half-day vehicle-drive rate starts at N$3,900 for five guests or fewer. The available source does not confirm that this rate applies to a night drive. Ask the operator for the exact night-drive price and inclusions. [2]
Foreign adults pay NAD 280 per person per day to enter Etosha National Park. SADC adults pay NAD 180, and Namibian adults pay NAD 60. Children under 16 enter free. Vehicle fees start at NAD 60 per day for vehicles with 10 seats or fewer. [1]
A Namibia self drive safari can be cheaper for travelers who share vehicle and accommodation costs, but the total depends on fuel, food, lodging, park fees, and drives. One listed guided camping package costs about US$300 per day and includes park fees, Etosha game drives, equipment, and accommodation. [3]
A luxury Etosha safari starts from R1,980 per person per night at Ongava Tented Camp. The camp sits on a 74,000-acre private reserve near Etosha and offers day and night drives. Confirm the room type, meals, transfers, and shared or private drive terms. [4]
Etosha Village lists morning and full-day game-drive rates for 2027, but the supplied listing does not show the actual 2027 prices. Its 2026 rates are N$1,390 per person sharing for a morning drive and N$1,650 for a full-day drive. Use those figures only as a past benchmark. [6]
SafariFind helps travelers compare verified Namibia safari operators, package prices, and authentic reviews. Use the marketplace to review inclusions, request a quote, and confirm the 2027 drive type before booking.
Etosha night drive prices for 2027 start with a useful benchmark, not one universal fee. The published N$3,900 rate covers a vehicle for five guests or fewer, yet the source identifies it as a half-day drive. [2] A budget Namibia package costs about US$300 per day, while Ongava Tented Camp starts from R1,980 per person per night. [3][4]
Choose self-drive if you want control and flexible spending. Choose a guided camping package if you want park fees, equipment, and drives grouped together. Choose Ongava if private-reserve night drives and lodge comfort matter most. Always confirm the 2027 price, location, group limit, and inclusions.
Compare verified Etosha safari packages on SafariFind, read authentic reviews, and request a quote from a verified operator. In 2027, a clear written itinerary will help you enjoy Etosha without unexpected costs.

"Tongesai was recommended to me by a friend who also booked his amazing safari through Cultural Vibes; I am glad we took his recommendation. Our safari across Victoria Falls and Botswana was top notch. Tongesai booked us in all of the best camps and with the best safari outfitters. Our excursions were extremely well planned and full of excitement. The restaurants were fantastic as well. Personally, I love planning my own vacations but honestly don't think there is an easy and reliable way to plan an African safari without using a travel agent very familiar with the region. Located in Zimbabwe and with a travel and tourism background, Tongesai was able to coordinate our stays between 5 safari camps which included private charter flights across the regions. He also personally escorted us into Botswana and helped with border crossing which was very helpful as well. Compared to larger companies, Tongesai's package rates were more reasonable and came with a customized touch. I highly recommend Cultural Vibes to anyone looking to go on safari in Zimbabwe and its bordering countries (Botswana, Zambia & Namibia). Thanks, T!"

"We were amazing group of 4 adults from Atlanta USA. Upon arrival we found our guide Stuart Muronga already waiting for us. He picked us up in a well air-conditioned vehicle and offered us water at soft drinks. Before going to check in we drove around the beautiful city . After checking in he dropped us off at the famous Boma restaurant..we had an amazing experience there over delicious meals and drums and dance. He picked us up and dropped us off at our hotel. The next morning he picked us up for out safari experience in Chobe which is in Botswana just an hour drive from Vic Falls. We spent 6 hrs there then drove another 40 or so minutes to some island in Namibia. Stuart was so knowledgeable with great communication skills which made the whole experience so smooth and fun."

"I would like to note an excellent organisation of this tour. In advance Kubwa Five Safaris created whats app groupe for me so I had contacts of people who assisted me during my travel. I was picked up at the airport. My guide was waiting for me. The accommodations chosen for this trip were correct, clean with good service. The choice of restaurants corresponded the rate of this tour. We visited wonderfull places with beautiful landscapes, I enjoyed game drive and visit of Etosha parc. My driver was a professional guide, so I had explanations on historical events, culture, geology, flore and faune of the sites that we visited. Kubwa Five Safaris chose reliable partners in Namibia, that made my trip safe and I would like to thank them for that."

"Our trip around Namibia was booked through Kubwa Five Safaris, main contact was Sylvia (from their sister company Ompo Travel). Everything was organised perfectly, Sylvia listened to our needs and constantly adapted the trip according to our (many) changes of mind, to ensure we could get the best out of it, both in terms of things to do and accommodations where to stay; but she also added her local know-how to advise our decisions on what really worth seeing and what to skip (given the limited time of two weeks). She was also very responsive, both prior the trip as well as during the trip, taking immediate action if needed (only once, due to a misunderstanding on the check-out from a lodge). Namibia is an amazing place with plenty of wilderness and photo opportunities, and we have enjoyed it fully!"
