International visitors can self-drive in Botswana, but you should carry your valid domestic driving licence and check whether your rental company or border authority requires an International Driving Permit. Botswana drives on the left, and wildlife, livestock, pedestrians and night driving create the main road risks.

Dolphin Beach Namibia packages 2027: prices and booking plans suit travelers who want a short Walvis Bay coast stay. Dolphin Beach Namibia packages 2027: prices and booking options cover stays and tours near Walvis Bay, rather than one confirmed Dolphin Beach product. The beach is a coastal stop near Walvis Bay with road access, parking, stairs, public-bus access, and boat access. As of October 2026, no confirmed 2027 Dolphin Beach package price or booking date is available. [1]
Dolphin Beach is best for travelers who want a simple coastal base. You can book a self-catering stay, add a Walvis Bay boat trip, or join a wider Namibia safari route. This makes the area more flexible than a fixed resort package. It also means you should check what each booking includes before paying.
Dolphin Beach is known for its position near Walvis Bay and its useful access points. The beach works for travelers arriving by car, bus, or boat. It also suits people who want time by the coast before or after a desert trip through Namibia.
Walvis Bay is a useful base for coastal sightseeing. Travelers can build a short beach stay around boat trips, dune excursions, and nearby coastal stops. The area also connects well with wider routes toward Swakopmund, the Namib Desert, and inland wildlife parks.
The main booking issue is simple. Dolphin Beach does not have a confirmed 2027 package price in the available information. Nearby Walvis Bay packages provide a better planning guide, but the final cost depends on the accommodation, tour length, transport, and activities you choose.
That difference matters when you compare a room-only stay with a guided package. A low nightly rate may exclude transfers and excursions. A higher package price may include transport, meals, guiding, or beach activities. Read the inclusions line by line.
Compare Namibia beach holiday packages for 2027 to review nearby coastal options and match the trip length to your budget.
Nearby Walvis Bay beach packages start at N$650 per person per night, while five-day packages cost about N$7,150 to N$9,975 per person. These figures are useful planning benchmarks for 2027, but they are not a confirmed Dolphin Beach rate. Use them to set a budget before requesting a quote.
| Trip type | Current planning price | Best for |
|---|---|---|
| Walvis Bay beach stay | From N$650 per person per night | Short coastal breaks |
| Five-day Walvis Bay beach package | About N$7,150 to N$9,975 per person | Travelers wanting a longer coast stay |
| Namibia vacation departure | US$7,797 on 6 June 2027, excluding flights | Travelers seeking a broader guided holiday |
| Eight-day tailor-made Namibia tour | From US$15,220 per person | Luxury safari and desert routes |
The five-day Walvis Bay figure gives you the clearest local comparison. A budget traveler may prefer self-catering accommodation and separate day tours. A traveler with less time may choose a guided coastal package that bundles transport and activities.
Accommodation type is one major cost factor. Dolphin Beach Self Catering Unit offers a three-bedroom apartment with two bathrooms. The property lists sea views, a fully equipped kitchen, a washing machine, Wi-Fi, private parking, and patio access. [2]
A self-catering apartment can work well for families or small groups. A kitchen helps you control meal costs. Private parking helps travelers using a rental car. Sea views and patio access also make the property useful for a relaxed coastal stay.
Tour length also changes the total. A one-night stop costs less than a five-day plan, but a longer stay gives you more time for boat trips and desert activities. Transport adds another layer, especially when your itinerary includes Walvis Bay, Swakopmund, and inland parks.
A 6 June 2027 Namibia vacation departure is listed at US$7,797, excluding flights. [3] That price belongs to a wider vacation, not a Dolphin Beach-only stay. It shows how quickly costs rise when a trip adds more regions, guiding, transfers, and planned activities.
An eight-day Audley itinerary starts at US$15,220 per person. It includes places such as Damaraland, Twyfelfontein, Ongava Reserve, and Etosha National Park. [4] This is a luxury comparison point, not a normal Dolphin Beach budget.
Request a quote for Walvis Bay beach packages near your budget and compare what each operator includes before choosing a 2027 plan.
The best time to visit Dolphin Beach is September through March. This period suits travelers planning a coastal holiday around Walvis Bay, beach time, and nearby boat or desert activities. Book early for 2027 if your dates fall during school holidays or a popular summer travel period.
September through March is the recommended travel window in the available planning data. [1] A coastal trip during these months can combine Dolphin Beach with Walvis Bay sightseeing and nearby Namibia attractions. Your final choice should still reflect your route, budget, and preferred activity level.
Independent travelers often need more planning time. You must arrange accommodation, transport, meals, and activities yourself. Guided travelers can ask one operator to connect the beach stay with boat trips and inland routes.
Dolphin Beach has parking, public-bus access, stairs, and boat access. [1] These features make it practical for travelers who do not want a remote beach stop. A rental car gives you more freedom, while public transport may suit travelers building a shorter Walvis Bay visit.
Getting there also depends on your wider itinerary. A traveler arriving from Windhoek may use Dolphin Beach as part of a longer coast route. Another traveler may reach Walvis Bay after visiting Deadvlei and the Namib Desert.
Walvis Bay is a natural starting point for a beach and desert plan. You can add a coastal boat cruise, a guided beach safari, or a route toward Swakopmund. Travelers with more time can continue toward Terrace Bay or the Skeleton Coast region.
Southern routes offer a different feel. A longer Namibia trip may include Lüderitz, the Tsau //Khaeb (Sperrgebiet) National Park, and desert scenery near the coast. These additions increase travel time and cost, so they work best for travelers with a full itinerary.
Travelers seeking wildlife can connect the coast with Etosha National Park. SafariFind’s guide to Etosha National Park tour operators in 2027 can help you compare a beach and safari route.
Start by deciding whether you want self-catering accommodation, a guided coastal tour, or a wider Namibia safari. Then request the full price, dates, transport plan, and included activities. This approach helps you compare like with like, especially because no confirmed Dolphin Beach package rate is available yet.
The three-bedroom Dolphin Beach Self Catering Unit can suit families and small groups. It has two bathrooms, sea views, a kitchen, Wi-Fi, private parking, and patio access. [2] Ask how many guests the quoted rate covers, then check whether cleaning, meals, and local activities cost extra.
Ask for five details before you pay. Confirm the 2027 travel dates, the total price, the deposit, the cancellation terms, and the transport plan. Then check whether the quoted amount covers flights. Some wider Namibia trips exclude flights, as shown by the US$7,797 departure listed for 6 June 2027. [3]
Some package sellers offer optional protection products. Exoticca lists an optional cancellation product from US$99 per person and a possible reward of up to US$500. Eligibility and booking conditions apply. [6] Treat these offers as separate terms, not as a guaranteed discount.
A Dolphin Beach stay may form part of an 11-day Namibia road trip that includes dolphin cruises and sightseeing flights. [7] This type of route suits travelers who want more than a beach stop. It also needs a larger budget and more travel days.
SafariFind connects travelers with verified tour operators and authentic traveler reviews. Read the review details, compare inclusions, and ask operators for a written quote. A clear quote should show accommodation, meals, transfers, guiding, activities, and any excluded costs.
Compare a 2027 Namibia itinerary with a Dolphin Beach stop before you choose between a short coast break and a full safari route.
Nearby Walvis Bay beach packages start at N$650 per person per night. Five-day packages cost about N$7,150 to N$9,975 per person. Dolphin Beach itself has no confirmed 2027 package price in the available planning information, so request a current quote before booking.

"Tongesai was recommended to me by a friend who also booked his amazing safari through Cultural Vibes; I am glad we took his recommendation. Our safari across Victoria Falls and Botswana was top notch. Tongesai booked us in all of the best camps and with the best safari outfitters. Our excursions were extremely well planned and full of excitement. The restaurants were fantastic as well. Personally, I love planning my own vacations but honestly don't think there is an easy and reliable way to plan an African safari without using a travel agent very familiar with the region. Located in Zimbabwe and with a travel and tourism background, Tongesai was able to coordinate our stays between 5 safari camps which included private charter flights across the regions. He also personally escorted us into Botswana and helped with border crossing which was very helpful as well. Compared to larger companies, Tongesai's package rates were more reasonable and came with a customized touch. I highly recommend Cultural Vibes to anyone looking to go on safari in Zimbabwe and its bordering countries (Botswana, Zambia & Namibia). Thanks, T!"

"We were amazing group of 4 adults from Atlanta USA. Upon arrival we found our guide Stuart Muronga already waiting for us. He picked us up in a well air-conditioned vehicle and offered us water at soft drinks. Before going to check in we drove around the beautiful city . After checking in he dropped us off at the famous Boma restaurant..we had an amazing experience there over delicious meals and drums and dance. He picked us up and dropped us off at our hotel. The next morning he picked us up for out safari experience in Chobe which is in Botswana just an hour drive from Vic Falls. We spent 6 hrs there then drove another 40 or so minutes to some island in Namibia. Stuart was so knowledgeable with great communication skills which made the whole experience so smooth and fun."

"I would like to note an excellent organisation of this tour. In advance Kubwa Five Safaris created whats app groupe for me so I had contacts of people who assisted me during my travel. I was picked up at the airport. My guide was waiting for me. The accommodations chosen for this trip were correct, clean with good service. The choice of restaurants corresponded the rate of this tour. We visited wonderfull places with beautiful landscapes, I enjoyed game drive and visit of Etosha parc. My driver was a professional guide, so I had explanations on historical events, culture, geology, flore and faune of the sites that we visited. Kubwa Five Safaris chose reliable partners in Namibia, that made my trip safe and I would like to thank them for that."
