Botswana Chobe National Park Safari Packages: 2027 Prices start at $560 per person for a 3-day Victoria Falls and Chobe trip. A 3-day camping safari starts at $720, while luxury itineraries can reach $16,145 for 13 days. Compare verified operators early because camp style, season, and trip length shape the final cost.
Chobe National Park safari packages begin at $560 per person in the 2027 listings reviewed for this guide. That low price covers a 3-day Victoria Falls and Chobe trip, but it adds $100 in park fees [2]. At the other end, a 13-day luxury itinerary linked with Chobe starts at $16,145 per person [3].
This guide explains the Botswana Chobe National Park Safari Packages: 2027 Prices in clear terms. You will see what the rates include, how trip length changes value, and which questions to ask before booking. You will also find related routes that connect Chobe with Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe, Zambia, or other Botswana highlights.
Quick answer: A Chobe safari in 2027 costs from $560 for three days at the lowest listed rate. Camping costs from $720 for three days, while luxury travel can cost $16,145 for 13 days. Start with the package inclusions, then compare park fees, lodging, transfers, and operator reviews before paying.
SafariFind connects travelers with verified tour operators and authentic traveler reviews. The marketplace helps you compare package details instead of judging a safari by its headline price alone. Chobe is also a useful starting point for a wider Botswana safari plan.
Botswana Chobe National Park safari packages are guided wildlife trips that include time in or around Chobe, usually with lodging, transport, activities, and a safari guide. Listed 2027 options range from short 3-day trips to luxury journeys lasting 13 days. Price changes with the route, camp style, and level of service.
Chobe National Park is the central destination in these packages. Travelers can choose a compact trip from Victoria Falls, a camping route, or a longer luxury itinerary. The shortest listed Chobe safari packages require at least 3 days [2]. That makes a long weekend possible, while longer routes allow more time for travel and added destinations.
The lowest listed option costs $560 per person for 3 days. It starts and ends in Victoria Falls and adds $100 in national park fees [2]. This is an important detail because the advertised package price is not the complete trip cost. Ask whether taxes, transfers, meals, drinks, and activities are included.
Compare 3-day Chobe safari packages and request quotes from verified operators before choosing the lowest advertised rate.
Chobe packages suit travelers who want a clear plan and a fixed number of safari days. A 3-day route works for visitors who already plan to see Victoria Falls. A camping safari suits travelers who value a lower starting rate and a closer outdoor experience. Luxury trips suit guests who want higher-end camps and a longer schedule.
Chobe can also form part of a larger southern Africa trip. Audley Travel lists a 10-day Botswana and Zambia itinerary from $12,500 per person [7]. A 10-day Botswana and Zimbabwe itinerary starts at $9,990, while a 10-day luxury Botswana safari starts at $32,995 [7]. These figures show how borders, flights, and premium camps can raise the total.
Travelers seeking a wider route can compare Chobe with the Makgadikgadi Pans National Park, the Gcwihaba Caves, or the Kalahari Desert. Each added stop changes driving time, lodging, and the number of internal transfers.
Chobe safari packages cost $560-$16,145 per person in the listed 2027 examples. The lower end covers a 3-day Victoria Falls and Chobe trip. The higher end covers a 13-day luxury itinerary. Botswana-wide luxury pricing is often quoted at $800-$4,500 per person per night, based on camp, season, and exclusivity [6].
| Name | Price | Duration | Rating | Best For |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Victoria Falls and Chobe safari | From $560 per person, plus $100 park fees | 3 days | Not provided | Short trips and first-time visitors |
| Chobe camping safari | From $720 per person | 3 days | Not provided | Budget-conscious outdoor travelers |
| Luxury Chobe itinerary | From $16,145 per person | 13 days | Not provided | Long luxury journeys |
| Botswana and Zambia itinerary | From $12,500 per person | 10 days | Not provided | Multi-country travelers |
| Botswana and Zimbabwe itinerary | From $9,990 per person | 10 days | Not provided | Victoria Falls and safari combinations |
The table shows why a direct price comparison can mislead. The $560 trip is shorter and includes a specific Victoria Falls route. The $16,145 option lasts more than four times longer and uses a luxury format. Compare the daily plan, not just the total amount.
Compare Chobe safari prices for 2027 and find packages with clear inclusions when you have a fixed budget.
San Diego Zoo Wildlife Alliance Adventures lists a Family Botswana Safari from June 13-22, 2027, with prices starting at $15,895 [1]. This example shows that fixed-date family departures can sit well above short independent packages. Families should check room setup, child rules, transfers, and included activities before comparing rates.
Travelers should check inclusions, park fees, start points, and cancellation terms before booking a Chobe safari. The lowest listed price does not cover every trip expense. A written quote should show the full route, accommodation type, meals, activities, transfers, and any extra charges.
Victoria Falls packages may start and end in Victoria Falls rather than Botswana. The $560 example follows that structure and adds $100 in park fees [2]. Confirm the arrival point before buying flights. Also ask how the operator moves you between Victoria Falls and Chobe.
A camping package may include tents, meals, and guided drives, but the research data does not confirm every inclusion. Request a complete list from the operator. Ask about tent size, bedding, showers, luggage limits, emergency support, and vehicle type.
Luxury packages need the same careful review. A higher price can cover premium lodging, private transfers, selected activities, or a longer route. However, you should still ask what the rate excludes. Confirm drinks, tips, laundry, flights, and single-room supplements in writing.
Chobe National Park works well in a short itinerary, but a longer Botswana trip offers more route choices. SafariFind articles on 5-day Chobe safari itineraries and Maun safari packages can help you compare trip structures.
Visitors who want a broader water-and-wildlife route can review the Okavango Delta attractions and package guide. Visitors who prefer a desert setting can read the Central Kalahari safari cost guide. These options may require extra flights or road transfers.
Price tells you what a trip costs. Reviews help you judge how the operator delivers it. Look for comments about guide knowledge, pickup times, vehicle condition, camp comfort, communication, and problem solving.
SafariFind lists verified tour operators and authentic reviews from previous travelers. Request a quote that matches the same dates and inclusions across operators. That process makes the comparison fairer and helps reveal missing costs.
For families, the June 13-22, 2027 departure from San Diego Zoo Wildlife Alliance Adventures starts at $15,895 [1]. Compare that fixed departure with flexible dates before deciding. A fixed date may suit school holidays, while a flexible trip may offer more choice.
Start planning a 2027 Chobe safari by setting your route, trip length, and spending limit. Then request matching quotes from verified operators. Book early when your dates are fixed, because camps, flights, and family rooms have limited availability.
The shortest listed Chobe trips last 3 days [2]. A 3-day trip keeps the plan simple, but it leaves less room for delays. A 10-day route provides more time for several regions, yet it can cost $9,990-$12,500 in the listed examples [7].
Use the package price as a starting point, not a final total. Add park fees, flights, transfers, tips, drinks, travel insurance, and extra nights where needed. The lowest listed Chobe package costs $560, but its $100 park fee sits outside the starting price [2].
Luxury travelers should use a wider range. Botswana luxury safari rates are cited at $800-$4,500 per person per night [6]. Camp level, season, and exclusivity drive that range. Ask for a per-person total and a clear list of exclusions.
The Botswana safari cost guide for 2027 provides another useful budgeting reference. You can also compare Chobe with the Kazungula area when planning regional transfers. Keep every quote in the same currency before making a decision.
Botswana Chobe National Park safari packages cost from $560 per person for a listed 3-day Victoria Falls and Chobe trip. A 3-day camping safari starts at $720, while a 13-day luxury itinerary starts at $16,145. The $560 option adds $100 in national park fees [2][3].
The cheapest listed Chobe package starts at $560 per person for 3 days. It starts and ends in Victoria Falls and adds $100 in national park fees. Confirm transport, meals, lodging, activities, and other exclusions before treating the starting price as your full budget [2].
You need at least 3 days for the shortest listed Chobe safari packages. Three days suits a short Victoria Falls combination. A longer 5-day, 10-day, or 13-day route gives you more time for transfers, extra destinations, or a slower luxury schedule [2][3].
Park fees are not always included in the headline price. The lowest listed $560 package adds $100 in national park fees. Ask each operator for a written price breakdown that separates park fees, transfers, accommodation, meals, activities, and flights [2].
A luxury Botswana safari typically costs about $800-$4,500 per person per night. Camp level, season, and exclusivity shape the rate. A longer Chobe itinerary listed at $16,145 for 13 days provides a separate example of luxury trip pricing [3][6].
You can book a verified Chobe safari through SafariFind by comparing package prices, checking authentic traveler reviews, and requesting a quote from a listed operator. Match the route, dates, lodging, fees, and activities before you choose your 2027 package.

"Cultural Vibes Travel and Tours has proved to be excellent yet again as this is now the third time, we have used them and a much-needed break after almost 3 years with the Covid pandemic. Tongesai is extremely reliable, professional, knowledgeable and does everything to make your trip a memorable experience. Compared to local larger companies, Tongesai’s individual package rates are more reasonable and come with a customized touch. We felt that our holiday with Tongesai was much better and suited us more so than if we had booked through a larger company. His individual tailoring, personal involvement and attention to detail pays off in the smooth running of your trip. Our visits to the Victoria Falls, both sides from Zimbabwe and Zambia were magnificent and never cease to amaze us. On this trip Tongesai arranged for a private sunset cruise on the Zambezi just for our family of four instead of on the larger vessels, which was a very pleasant alternative. The boat trip in Chobe is magical and a must if you venture into Botswana. Wildlife was in abundance, including lion, elephant, wildebeest, buffalo, puku, kudu, bushbuck, waterbuck, impala, gemsbok, steenbok, sable and roan antelope, etc. We even saw a relative of Cecil, the famous black-maned lion, ‘once a true king of Hwange National Park’. I have no hesitation in recommending the company for arranging tours in Zimbabwe, Zambia and Botswana - we will definitely be seeing him again. He is currently setting up arrangements with colleagues in Kruger National Park to venture into South Africa and I wish him every success with that."

"On 10.9. until 1.10. In 2023, I went on a trip to Botswana, Zimbabwe and a short visit to Zambia with my clients - friends. I carefully prepared the trip in cooperation with the manager of Cultural Vibes Travel & Tours, Mr. Tongesai Mutematsaka. After arriving in Gaborone we organized a short tour of the city ourselves and met Tongesai in Maun. Tongesai was our driver and guide practically the whole way. We visited the Okavango River Delta and its surroundings (Moremi Reserve, Mokoro boat cruise, flight over the Okavango Delta. This was followed by a visit to the Makgadikgadi Salt Flats, then the Elephant Sands area and in Botswana Chobe National Park with a cruise on the Chobe River. Then we crossed to Zimbabwe, which was the main part of our journey. In the Victoria Falls area, we visited the Monde settlement, took a helicopter flight over Victoria Falls, followed by a cruise on the Zambezi River as part of a visit to the national park of the same name. We also walked past Victoria Falls on the Zimbabwean side and had a Boma dinner in the evening (too much of a "tourist thing"). On the Zambian side of the falls we saw white rhinos in Mosi - oa - Tunya National Park, then visited the museum in Livingstone and walked the Zambian side of the falls. From Victoria Falls, we headed to Hwange National Park, where we had a beautiful program - a safari, and after Hwange, there was also a very interesting program in Matobo National Park (there, among other things, white rhinos (a mother with her little daughter), beautiful rock formations and prehistoric cave drawings. The next place visited was Khami with very interesting buildings, and then we visited the ruins of Great Zimbabwe, which are among the most important world monuments. This was followed by a visit to the Chinhoya Karst and finally the gallery in Harare. I would also like to comment on the provision of services: Accommodation in the hotels was at the standard, expected level, only the service at the Great Zimbabwe Hotel was rather lazy. Accommodation in lodges - very good and the best accommodation was in Iganyana tented camp in Hwange National Park, mainly due to the extraordinary professionalism and very friendly attitude of the staff there towards us, the visitors. I must also highly praise all the local guides we met everywhere, e.g. in Chobe, Hwange and Matobo National Parks. I want to emphasize that this journey is one of the most interesting that I have made around the world. I believe that my clients - friends were also satisfied with the set. Thanks to the travel agency Cultural Vibes Travel & Tours and Mr. Tongesai Mutematsaka. I recommend Cultural Vibes Travel & Tours to anyone considering a trip to Zimbabwe."

"I spent a week in Botswana with cultural vibes, travels & tours and had not a single dull moment. The hotels/lodges we stayed at were very clean and service was professional. On the drives I had good conversations with the tour operator as he taught me a lot about the culture and about all the different animals (which we saw a lot of). Overall I had a great experience and would definitely book again."

"Tongesai was awesome from the start. I knew he was a good tour operator because he answered all of my questions in a timely manner and no question was ever stupid. Everything was just as he said once we arrived and really it was better. We prepared for about a year in advance for this trip and the tour operator was instrumental and making this trip a success. I highly recommend this tour operator to anyone who wants to visit Zimbabwe, Zambia, and Botswana. Give Tongesai a call or email, and you will 100% not be disappointed. I have a very deep understanding of border crossing and transportation challenges in many African countries at this point because of the efforts of the tour operator. This makes my wife and I have very comfortable to approach another visit or look at visiting a different African country."
