Vultures in Eswatini face poisoning, habitat change and infrastructure risks, while the Hooded Vulture’s southern African population is estimated at only 100–200 mature individuals. Regional conservation planning, movement tracking and safer land management are central to the response in 2026.

Only $1,800 separates the lowest listed 2027 package from the highest-priced option. [1]
Botswana Bush-and-Beach Packages 2027: Prices & Routes combine a Botswana wildlife safari with beach time beside the Indian Ocean, especially in Mozambique. Listed prices range from $1,800 to $16,235 per person. May to October is the best period for Okavango Delta wildlife viewing, and one listed route lasts 10 days and 9 nights. [1][2]
Botswana Bush-and-Beach Packages 2027: Prices & Routes create a two-part African holiday. You begin with wildlife, wetlands, and open bush. You then finish beside the Indian Ocean in Mozambique. This plan suits travelers who want more than a standard safari holiday.
Botswana is known for remote safari areas, water-based Okavango Delta trips, and strong route variety. Mozambique adds a slower beach stay after several days of game drives. The combined format also gives you a clear change of pace. You can watch wildlife first, then rest near the coast.
Quick answer: A Botswana bush-and-beach holiday costs $1,800-$16,235 per person in 2027. The best wildlife period is May-October. A listed route lasts 10 days and 9 nights. Plan for a Botswana safari section, a regional transfer, and beach time in Mozambique. [1][2]
SafariFind connects travelers with verified tour operators and authentic traveler reviews. Use the information below to compare route styles, understand the price range, and plan your dates. Package availability and final rates should be checked before you pay a deposit.
Botswana bush-and-beach packages are combined holidays with two linked parts: a wildlife safari in Botswana and a coastal stay beside the Indian Ocean. Mozambique is the main beach setting identified in the available 2027 package research. This format lets travelers pair remote bush time with a relaxed seaside finish. [1][2]
Botswana is known for safari landscapes and distinct regional experiences. The Okavango Delta emphasizes water-based safari activities. Chobe National Park suits shorter safari routes. Makgadikgadi Pans National Park adds salt-pan scenery and seasonal wildlife movements. [1]
The Makgadikgadi Pans National Park section can add a wide, dry landscape to an itinerary. Travelers can also research the Chobe National Park route when they want a shorter bush stay. Each choice changes the pace and shape of the trip.
Botswana bush-and-beach packages are best for couples, families, and first-time Africa travelers who want both action and rest. The safari section brings early starts, wildlife viewing, and changing landscapes. The beach section offers time to slow down after the bush portion.
Okavango Delta trips are especially useful for travelers who want water-based safari experiences. The delta route differs from a Chobe route, which is better suited to a shorter plan. Therefore, your choice should match the number of safari days you want before the beach stay. [1]
A combined holiday reduces the need to choose between a safari holiday and a beach holiday. You can build one trip around two clear travel goals. The result is not a beach resort with a short wildlife add-on. It is a planned journey with a bush phase and a coastal phase.

Compare Botswana bush-and-beach packages for 2027 to match your dates, route style, and budget.
Botswana bush-and-beach packages cost $1,800-$16,235 per person across the available 2027 listings. The range is wide, so travelers should compare duration, accommodation, safari region, group size, and included travel services. The quoted range is a guide to listed packages, not a guaranteed price for every departure. [1][2]
The $1,800 starting point gives budget-focused travelers a useful benchmark. The $16,235 top end shows how high a combined safari and beach journey can reach. Package prices can also exclude flights. A Botswana small-group lodge safari is listed at US$3,925-US$4,190 for 14 days, excluding flights. [7]
| Name | Price | Duration | Rating | Best For |
|---|---|---|---|---|

| Okavango-Mozambique itinerary | Within listed range | 10 days, 9 nights | Not provided | Travelers wanting delta and coast [2] |
| Botswana small-group lodge safari | US$3,925-US$4,190 | 14 days | Not provided | Small-group lodge travel [7] |
Check every quote for flights, transfers, park costs, meals, accommodation, guide services, and beach activities. The small-group lodge listing clearly excludes flights. That detail matters because international and regional flights can change the final trip cost. [7]
Ask whether the beach stay includes airport transfers and how the Botswana-Mozambique connection works. Also ask if the quote covers all nights shown in the itinerary. A 10-day, 9-night plan should state what happens on each travel day. [2]
SafariFind helps you compare packages and request quotes from verified operators. Compare tour operators for 2027 bush-and-beach trips before choosing the lowest headline price.
The best route depends on how much time you want in the Okavango Delta, Chobe, or other Botswana regions. A listed Okavango-Mozambique itinerary lasts 10 days and 9 nights. Chobe works well for shorter routes, while the Okavango Delta suits travelers seeking water-based safari experiences. [1][2]
The Okavango-Mozambique route is the clearest bush-and-beach example in the available research. It combines delta wildlife viewing with Indian Ocean beach time. May-October is the best time for Okavango Delta wildlife viewing, making those months a strong starting point for 2027 planning. [2]
Read the 7-day Okavango Delta safari itinerary to understand the bush portion before adding a coastal stay. You can also review Okavango Delta boat tour routes when water-based activities matter most.
Chobe is suited to shorter safari routes. That makes it a practical choice when your beach stay takes up much of the holiday. The route can begin around the Chobe area, continue through regional connections, and end on Mozambique’s Indian Ocean coast. Confirm the exact transfer sequence with the operator.
Travelers using Kasane as a safari gateway can review this guide to Kasane safari packages and routes. The Chobe safari cost guide can also help you check the bush section separately.
Makgadikgadi adds salt-pan landscapes and seasonal wildlife movements to Botswana itineraries. It creates a different visual experience from the wet Okavango setting. Travelers who want landscape variety can ask whether Makgadikgadi fits before or after the main safari region. [1]
Maun-based travelers can compare Maun safari packages and day trips. You can also explore Okavango Delta attractions before deciding how many bush nights you need.
Start by choosing your safari region, travel month, and total trip length. Then ask operators for a full route with prices for every night and transfer. For 2027, planning from August 2026 gives you time to compare package details, request quotes, and check availability before departure dates fill.
Choose the Okavango Delta for a water-based safari emphasis. Choose Chobe for a shorter bush route. Add Makgadikgadi when salt-pan scenery and seasonal wildlife movements appeal to you. These choices give your operator a clear starting brief. [1]
You can also research less common Botswana stops. The Gcwihaba Caves, Ghanzi, and Kalahari Desert pages help you understand possible landscape additions. Do not add every stop without checking travel time and cost.
May-October is the best period identified for Okavango Delta wildlife viewing. [2] A 2027 small-group Botswana itinerary lists departures from 7 February through 4 July. The listed dates include departures in February, March, April, May, June, and July. [7]
Those departure dates show that travelers have more than one planning window. However, the best month for your trip depends on the route and experience you want. Ask the operator to explain the seasonal trade-offs for both the bush and beach sections.
Ask for the exact connection between Botswana and Mozambique. Confirm airports, transfer times, luggage rules, and overnight locations. A good quote should show where each travel day starts and ends.
Also confirm the number of nights in each country. One listed Okavango-Mozambique itinerary lasts 10 days and 9 nights. [2] That gives you a clear model for a compact combined holiday, but longer trips are also listed across the wider 2027 price range.
SafariFind connects you with verified tour operators and helps you read authentic reviews. You can compare trip styles without relying on one headline price. Keep the final itinerary, inclusions, and payment terms together before booking.
Pack for two different settings: a safari camp or lodge in Botswana and a beach stay in Mozambique. Use light clothing, a warm layer, comfortable walking shoes, sun protection, and swimwear. Your operator should provide the final luggage guidance because vehicle and aircraft limits can differ.
Safari days often begin early, so comfortable layers help. Choose neutral clothing, a hat, sunscreen, and insect protection. Bring a small day bag for water, binoculars, and a camera. Keep essential medication and travel documents in your hand luggage.
Water-based Okavango activities need practical clothing and secure bags. Chobe and Makgadikgadi may require different footwear and clothing choices. Ask your operator for a route-specific packing list before departure.
Mozambique beach time calls for swimwear, sandals, reef-safe sun protection, and a light cover-up. Ask which activities the package includes. Some packages may focus on rest, while others may offer optional coastal experiences at extra cost.
The beach section should feel like a real second phase, not a rushed final night. If relaxation is your priority, ask for more coastal nights. If wildlife matters most, protect your safari nights first.
These questions make package comparisons easier. They also help you spot gaps between a short package description and the full travel plan. Request a quote that answers each question in writing.
Botswana bush-and-beach packages cost $1,800-$16,235 per person across the available 2027 listings. The final price depends on the route, duration, accommodation, and included flights or transfers. One listed small-group Botswana lodge safari costs US$3,925-US$4,190 for 14 days, excluding flights. [1][7]
May-October is the best period identified for Okavango Delta wildlife viewing. You should still check the beach conditions and route schedule for your chosen Mozambique stay. Ask the operator to confirm how your selected month affects both parts of the trip. [2]
A listed Okavango-Mozambique itinerary lasts 10 days and 9 nights. This gives travelers a clear example of a compact bush-and-beach route. Longer Botswana safari holidays are also available, including a 14-day small-group lodge safari listing. [2][7]
Choose the Okavango Delta for water-based safari experiences, Chobe for a shorter route, and Makgadikgadi for salt-pan landscapes and seasonal wildlife movements. Your available time should guide the choice. A shorter trip may suit Chobe, while a longer trip can include more than one region. [1]

"On 10.9. until 1.10. In 2023, I went on a trip to Botswana, Zimbabwe and a short visit to Zambia with my clients - friends. I carefully prepared the trip in cooperation with the manager of Cultural Vibes Travel & Tours, Mr. Tongesai Mutematsaka. After arriving in Gaborone we organized a short tour of the city ourselves and met Tongesai in Maun. Tongesai was our driver and guide practically the whole way. We visited the Okavango River Delta and its surroundings (Moremi Reserve, Mokoro boat cruise, flight over the Okavango Delta. This was followed by a visit to the Makgadikgadi Salt Flats, then the Elephant Sands area and in Botswana Chobe National Park with a cruise on the Chobe River. Then we crossed to Zimbabwe, which was the main part of our journey. In the Victoria Falls area, we visited the Monde settlement, took a helicopter flight over Victoria Falls, followed by a cruise on the Zambezi River as part of a visit to the national park of the same name. We also walked past Victoria Falls on the Zimbabwean side and had a Boma dinner in the evening (too much of a "tourist thing"). On the Zambian side of the falls we saw white rhinos in Mosi - oa - Tunya National Park, then visited the museum in Livingstone and walked the Zambian side of the falls. From Victoria Falls, we headed to Hwange National Park, where we had a beautiful program - a safari, and after Hwange, there was also a very interesting program in Matobo National Park (there, among other things, white rhinos (a mother with her little daughter), beautiful rock formations and prehistoric cave drawings. The next place visited was Khami with very interesting buildings, and then we visited the ruins of Great Zimbabwe, which are among the most important world monuments. This was followed by a visit to the Chinhoya Karst and finally the gallery in Harare. I would also like to comment on the provision of services: Accommodation in the hotels was at the standard, expected level, only the service at the Great Zimbabwe Hotel was rather lazy. Accommodation in lodges - very good and the best accommodation was in Iganyana tented camp in Hwange National Park, mainly due to the extraordinary professionalism and very friendly attitude of the staff there towards us, the visitors. I must also highly praise all the local guides we met everywhere, e.g. in Chobe, Hwange and Matobo National Parks. I want to emphasize that this journey is one of the most interesting that I have made around the world. I believe that my clients - friends were also satisfied with the set. Thanks to the travel agency Cultural Vibes Travel & Tours and Mr. Tongesai Mutematsaka. I recommend Cultural Vibes Travel & Tours to anyone considering a trip to Zimbabwe."

"I spent a week in Botswana with cultural vibes, travels & tours and had not a single dull moment. The hotels/lodges we stayed at were very clean and service was professional. On the drives I had good conversations with the tour operator as he taught me a lot about the culture and about all the different animals (which we saw a lot of). Overall I had a great experience and would definitely book again."

"Tongesai was awesome from the start. I knew he was a good tour operator because he answered all of my questions in a timely manner and no question was ever stupid. Everything was just as he said once we arrived and really it was better. We prepared for about a year in advance for this trip and the tour operator was instrumental and making this trip a success. I highly recommend this tour operator to anyone who wants to visit Zimbabwe, Zambia, and Botswana. Give Tongesai a call or email, and you will 100% not be disappointed. I have a very deep understanding of border crossing and transportation challenges in many African countries at this point because of the efforts of the tour operator. This makes my wife and I have very comfortable to approach another visit or look at visiting a different African country."

"We went on a 3 day safari, and even though Tongesai did not lead it himself, I want to highly recommend his services. Our group consisted of just my family; my wife, children (9, 13, 14), and me. Tongesai acted as the agent, coordinating with the organization in Botswana that ran the actual tour. He met us several days in advance, and had informed us of some critical information (like make sure to bring birth certificates for the kids) well in advance. On the first day of the Safari, he came to pick us up, and drove us to the border, where he coordinated a smooth hand over to the Botswana organization. The guide from our safari was so good! ‘Cobra’ grew up in the bush, and if shows. He was frequently coordinating with, and showing other tour guides where to find the best big game sightings. We saw so many animals, including lions, hippos, tons of elephants and giraffes, and too many other animals to name. The meals were also great! Cobra and Tongesai had contracted with ‘chef K’ for catered breakfast, lunch and dinner at the camp. All meals were great. And the camp itself was organized above my expectations. Very nice tents, raised cots, plenty warm, tables, chairs and napkins at every meal! All in all, the experience was pretty unforgettable. It’s not a cheap experience, but based on our trip I can highly recommend Tongesai’s services!"
