The best lodges near Etosha National Park in 2027 include Etosha Safari Lodge, Etosha Mountain Lodge, and Namutoni Campsite. Etosha Safari Lodge lists January to October rates at N$3,721 per person sharing, or N$4,651 for a single room. Choose your lodge by location, meal plan, park access, and budget.
Best Lodges Near Etosha National Park: 2027 Rates are now useful for early planning because many travellers book Namibia trips months ahead. Etosha Safari Lodge has published January to October prices. Etosha Mountain Lodge shows several 2027 stay periods with a fully inclusive meal plan. Namutoni Campsite has no available rates for bookings between 1 November 2026 and 31 October 2027. [1] [3] [4]
Etosha National Park is one of the main stops on a Namibia safari. Your choice of lodge changes your daily drive time, food costs, and access to the park. A lodge outside the gates may offer more space and comfort. A camp inside the park may shorten your route to morning wildlife viewing.
The prices in this guide come from the available 2027 rate information as of September 2026. They do not represent a full market average. Some properties publish fixed prices, while others show stay periods but ask guests to enquire before booking.
Etosha Safari Lodge is the clearest 2027 price reference among the listed options. Its January to October bed-and-breakfast rate is N$3,721 per person sharing. The single-room rate is N$4,651. Etosha Mountain Lodge suits travellers seeking a fully inclusive stay, while Namutoni Campsite suits campers checking future availability.
Etosha Safari Lodge is known for: published bed-and-breakfast prices for January to October 2027. The lodge lists N$3,721 per person sharing and N$4,651 for a single room. November and December 2027 rates appear as “Please Enquire” for both room types. [1]
Etosha Mountain Lodge is known for: 2027 stay periods and a fully inclusive meal plan. The displayed plan includes all meals and selected beverages. Listed periods include 1 July to 31 August, 1 September to 31 October, 1 November to 19 December, and 20 December 2027 to 9 January 2028. [4]
Namutoni Campsite is known for: a location at the eastern edge of Etosha National Park. Each campsite can hold a maximum of eight people. However, rates are unavailable for bookings from 1 November 2026 through 31 October 2027. [3]
| Name | Price | Duration | Rating | Best for |

| Namutoni Campsite | Unavailable for the stated booking period | Maximum eight people per campsite | Not provided | Campers planning around future availability |
Etosha Safari Lodge also gives you a useful price comparison with its earlier rate. Its January to October 2026 bed-and-breakfast price was N$3,383 per person sharing, while the single-room price was N$4,230. The 2027 rates therefore show an increase of N$338 for sharing and N$421 for a single room. [2]
For a wider route plan, read the guide to Etosha National Park safari packages for 2027. It can help you compare a lodge stay with a larger trip that includes transport, guides, or other Namibian stops.
Compare Namibia safari lodges by budget for 2027 before choosing a room type, meal plan, or travel route.
Etosha National Park covers 22,270 square kilometres, so location affects each game-drive day. [5] A lodge near a gate may reduce transfer time. A property with meals included may make budgeting easier. A campsite may work well for a group, but only when dates and rates are open.
The best lodge is not always the most expensive one. It is the property that matches your travel style. Couples may prefer a private room and a set meal plan. Families may need flexible rooms. Self-drive visitors may care most about gate access and fuel planning.
Published 2027 rates show that Etosha Safari Lodge is the easiest option to price today. The lodge lists N$3,721 per person sharing and N$4,651 for a single room from January through October. Etosha Mountain Lodge publishes meal-plan periods but no price in the supplied data. Namutoni Campsite has no rate available for the stated dates.
Price range: the verified published figure in this guide is N$3,721 to N$4,651 at Etosha Safari Lodge for January to October 2027. The lower rate applies per person sharing. The higher rate applies to a single room. [1]
Bed and breakfast means your room and morning meal form the published package. You still need to check lunch, dinner, drinks, park fees, transfers, and guided activities. Ask the operator to list each extra cost before you pay a deposit.
Fully inclusive means: Etosha Mountain Lodge displays all meals and selected beverages in its 2027 meal plan. That setup can make daily spending easier to track. Ask whether game drives, transfers, park fees, and premium drinks sit outside the quoted rate. [4]
January to October is the clearest booking window for Etosha Safari Lodge because the lodge publishes rates for those months. November and December 2027 require an enquiry. This does not mean rooms are unavailable. It means you need a current quote before using the lodge in your budget. [1]
Etosha Mountain Lodge lists dates across the second half of 2027. The listed periods cover July and August, September and October, November and part of December, then late December into January 2028. That spread helps travellers match a lodge stay with a longer Namibia route. [4]
Namutoni Campsite needs extra care. The supplied booking information says rates are unavailable from 1 November 2026 through 31 October 2027. Each campsite can hold up to eight people, but that capacity does not confirm availability or price. Check dates before building a camping plan. [3]
Etosha Oberland Lodge is listed 6.2 miles from Anderson Gate. That distance can help self-drive visitors compare outside-the-park accommodation with options deeper inside the reserve. The listing does not supply a 2027 price in the research data, so request a live quote before comparing it with Etosha Safari Lodge. [6]
Getting there: most visitors reach the Etosha area by road from other Namibia stops or by joining a guided safari. Your final transfer plan depends on your route, vehicle, and lodge location. Confirm the gate name, check-in time, and estimated drive time with the operator.
SafariFind connects travellers with verified tour operators, package details, and authentic reviews. Compare Etosha safari costs for 3, 5, and 7 days when you need to combine lodging with a full trip budget.
Choose an Etosha lodge by matching four facts: your budget, room type, meal plan, and route. Start with a published rate when you need a firm estimate. Then check the lodge location, park access, inclusions, and booking terms. This simple process prevents a low room price from becoming a high final bill.
Use N$3,721 per person sharing as the starting figure for Etosha Safari Lodge from January to October 2027. Use N$4,651 as the single-room figure. These rates include bed and breakfast, based on the supplied source. They do not create a complete safari budget.
A bed-and-breakfast plan works well for travellers who want choice during the day. You can ask about meals at the lodge or plan food during a long drive. A fully inclusive plan works better for guests who prefer one clear daily food budget.
Etosha Mountain Lodge displays a fully inclusive plan with all meals and selected beverages. That detail is useful, but it does not replace a full quote. Ask which beverages qualify and whether activities sit outside the meal plan. [4]
Etosha National Park has several areas worth considering when you plan a driving route. A lodge near Anderson Gate may suit a route entering from the west or central side. Namutoni sits at the eastern edge of the park, but its 2027 campsite rate is unavailable for the stated booking period. [3]
Do not choose a lodge by room photos alone. Ask how far it sits from your planned gate. Ask when breakfast starts. A late breakfast can work against an early game drive. A long transfer can also reduce time at waterholes.
Save a copy of the final offer. Keep the rate, room type, dates, inclusions, and cancellation terms together. This matters when a lodge lists some dates as “Please Enquire” instead of showing a fixed price.
Travellers often pair Etosha with other Namibia stops. A longer route may include Deadvlei, the Naukluft Mountains, or Solitaire. These additions change driving time, so place them before or after Etosha rather than squeezing them into one rushed day.
Other possible stops include Cheetah Conservation Fund, Brandberg, and Fish River Canyon. The Fish River Canyon link is not available in the supplied internal link list, so use the related Fish River Canyon tours guide for route planning.
Use SafariFind to request a quote from verified operators when a lodge shows no fixed 2027 rate.
Book the parts with published prices first, then request quotes for properties with open dates but no rates. Keep your lodge dates flexible where possible. September 2026 is a sensible time to start checking 2027 space, especially for peak travel periods and multi-stop Namibia routes.
Rates can look clear until you review the details. Etosha Safari Lodge lists bed and breakfast. Etosha Mountain Lodge lists a fully inclusive plan with selected beverages. Namutoni Campsite lists a maximum of eight people per campsite, but no 2027 rate for the stated booking period.
Ask five direct questions before booking:
A two-night stay gives you one full day for game drives. A single night leaves little room for delays, late arrival, or a changed plan. A longer stay may suit travellers who want a slower pace or a wider park route.
Use the 7-day Etosha safari itinerary guide if the park is part of a larger trip. It can help you decide whether to spend two nights near one gate or split the stay between areas.
A lodge rate is only one part of a safari price. Vehicle hire, fuel, park fees, flights, guides, and transfers may change the total. A package can cost more at first but include services that a room-only booking does not.
Read authentic traveller reviews for signs about service, food, road access, room comfort, and communication. Ratings alone do not tell you whether a property suits your route. Look for comments from guests with a similar travel style.
Keep your final plan simple. Choose a lodge, confirm the exact 2027 rate, and link it to your road route. That approach is less exciting than chasing every option, but it prevents costly surprises.
Etosha Safari Lodge costs N$3,721 per person sharing from January to October 2027. The single-room rate is N$4,651. Both figures are bed-and-breakfast rates listed by the lodge source. November and December 2027 rates require an enquiry. [1]

Etosha Mountain Lodge displays a fully inclusive 2027 meal plan with all meals and selected beverages. The supplied data does not show a final price. Ask the lodge or operator to confirm activities, transfers, park fees, and drink limits in the quote. [4]
Namutoni Campsite rates are unavailable for bookings from 1 November 2026 through 31 October 2027. Each campsite can accommodate a maximum of eight people. Check current availability before planning a 2027 camping route. [3]
Etosha Oberland Lodge is listed 6.2 miles from Etosha National Park’s Anderson Gate. The supplied listing does not provide a 2027 price. Ask for a current rate and confirm whether transport or meals are included. [6]

"Tongesai was recommended to me by a friend who also booked his amazing safari through Cultural Vibes; I am glad we took his recommendation. Our safari across Victoria Falls and Botswana was top notch. Tongesai booked us in all of the best camps and with the best safari outfitters. Our excursions were extremely well planned and full of excitement. The restaurants were fantastic as well. Personally, I love planning my own vacations but honestly don't think there is an easy and reliable way to plan an African safari without using a travel agent very familiar with the region. Located in Zimbabwe and with a travel and tourism background, Tongesai was able to coordinate our stays between 5 safari camps which included private charter flights across the regions. He also personally escorted us into Botswana and helped with border crossing which was very helpful as well. Compared to larger companies, Tongesai's package rates were more reasonable and came with a customized touch. I highly recommend Cultural Vibes to anyone looking to go on safari in Zimbabwe and its bordering countries (Botswana, Zambia & Namibia). Thanks, T!"

"We were amazing group of 4 adults from Atlanta USA. Upon arrival we found our guide Stuart Muronga already waiting for us. He picked us up in a well air-conditioned vehicle and offered us water at soft drinks. Before going to check in we drove around the beautiful city . After checking in he dropped us off at the famous Boma restaurant..we had an amazing experience there over delicious meals and drums and dance. He picked us up and dropped us off at our hotel. The next morning he picked us up for out safari experience in Chobe which is in Botswana just an hour drive from Vic Falls. We spent 6 hrs there then drove another 40 or so minutes to some island in Namibia. Stuart was so knowledgeable with great communication skills which made the whole experience so smooth and fun."

"I would like to note an excellent organisation of this tour. In advance Kubwa Five Safaris created whats app groupe for me so I had contacts of people who assisted me during my travel. I was picked up at the airport. My guide was waiting for me. The accommodations chosen for this trip were correct, clean with good service. The choice of restaurants corresponded the rate of this tour. We visited wonderfull places with beautiful landscapes, I enjoyed game drive and visit of Etosha parc. My driver was a professional guide, so I had explanations on historical events, culture, geology, flore and faune of the sites that we visited. Kubwa Five Safaris chose reliable partners in Namibia, that made my trip safe and I would like to thank them for that."

"Our trip around Namibia was booked through Kubwa Five Safaris, main contact was Sylvia (from their sister company Ompo Travel). Everything was organised perfectly, Sylvia listened to our needs and constantly adapted the trip according to our (many) changes of mind, to ensure we could get the best out of it, both in terms of things to do and accommodations where to stay; but she also added her local know-how to advise our decisions on what really worth seeing and what to skip (given the limited time of two weeks). She was also very responsive, both prior the trip as well as during the trip, taking immediate action if needed (only once, due to a misunderstanding on the check-out from a lodge). Namibia is an amazing place with plenty of wilderness and photo opportunities, and we have enjoyed it fully!"
