The best beaches in Zambia in 2027 are linked to Lake Kariba, especially around Siavonga. Current listed Lake Kariba stays cost $169 to $195 per night, or $201 to $227 with taxes and fees, based on 2026 listings. A full Lake Kariba safari package can cost much more, so compare dates, board plans, transfers, and reviews before booking.
Lake Kariba is one of the main places to consider when searching for the best beaches in Zambia in 2027. The lakeside town of Siavonga gives travelers a practical base for a water-focused break. Yet the word "beach" needs care here. The available research does not give an official count of Zambia's beaches or a complete national beach list.
The best beaches in Zambia 2027: Lake Kariba Prices and Packages guide focuses on what you can check now. It covers Siavonga, Lake Kariba accommodation, package prices, and questions travelers often ask before booking. It also separates confirmed prices from details that still need a direct operator quote.
Quick answer: Zambia has inland lake beaches rather than an ocean coast. Lake Kariba is the clearest match for a beach-style holiday in the available research. Listed room rates near Siavonga sit between $169 and $195 per night before the displayed total with taxes and fees. [1][2]
SafariFind connects travelers with verified tour operators and authentic reviews. Use the information below as a planning guide, then ask for written details on the exact room, beach access, meals, transfers, and cancellation terms.
The best beaches in Zambia in 2027 cannot be ranked with a verified national list from the supplied research. Lake Kariba near Siavonga is the strongest documented choice because the research gives a local property, prices, and a clear link to lakeside travel. Treat other beach names as suggestions to verify, not confirmed recommendations.
Zambia has inland lake beaches, but it does not have an ocean coastline. Lake Kariba is the main beach-style destination supported by the supplied sources, while Siavonga is the Zambia-side place connected with the listed Lake Kariba Inns rates. [1][2]
Lake Kariba is shared by Zambia and Zimbabwe, so a package title does not always mean the stay takes place in Zambia. One supplied itinerary describes Kariba Safari Lodge on the Zimbabwean side. It places the lodge on a 33-acre forest hillside and lists a beach area with full-board lodging. [3]
Explore Zambia beach and safari destinations on SafariFind before choosing a package. Check the country of each lodge, the border arrangements, and whether the quoted price covers transport between sites.
Lake Kariba is a freshwater lake setting where a beach stay can form part of a wider safari holiday. The research supports lakeside accommodation, a beach area at Kariba Safari Lodge, and tours that combine Lake Kariba with Mana Pools. It does not confirm swimming rules, water quality, or activities at every beach.
Siavonga is the most useful starting point for a Zambia-side search. Lake Kariba Inns is listed in Siavonga at $169 per night and $201 total per night for October 28 to 29, 2026. A separate listing shows $195 per night and $227 total for September 13 to 14, 2026. [1][2]
Those figures are useful planning markers, not fixed 2027 quotes. The supplied results do not provide an official 2027 accommodation price for Lake Kariba or a confirmed price for a Zambia-specific beach package. Ask the property or operator for a 2027 rate before you treat any number as bookable.
The supplied research does not establish how many beaches are in Zambia. No source gives a verified national count. Travelers should therefore avoid quoting a number and should ask the Zambia Tourism Agency, a park authority, or a named lodge for a confirmed list of public and private lakeside beaches.
This answer matters because "beach" can mean different things. It may refer to a sandy lake edge, a lodge beach area, a public recreation site, or a seasonal shoreline. Each type can have different access rules, safety guidance, and facilities.
Lake Kariba prices for 2027 are not fully published in the supplied research. The clearest accommodation markers are $169 to $195 per night, with displayed totals of $201 to $227 for selected 2026 dates. Larger safari itineraries cost far more because they add guides, transport, meals, flights, and several destinations.
Lake Kariba Inns has two useful price references. Orbitz lists $169 nightly and $201 total for October 28 to 29, 2026. Expedia lists $195 nightly and $227 total for September 13 to 14, 2026. [1][2] The different dates show why you need an exact travel date before comparing offers.
| Name | Price | Duration | Rating | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Lake Kariba Inns, Siavonga | $169 nightly, $201 total on one 2026 listing | 1 night example | Not supplied | Short Zambia-side lakeside stay |
| Lake Kariba Inns, Siavonga | $195 nightly, $227 total on one 2026 listing | 1 night example | 3.5 out of 5 listed | Travelers comparing another date |
| Mana Pools and Lake Kariba tour | $8,670 to $14,050 per person sharing | Dates listed January 1 to March 31, 2027 | Not supplied | Combined safari and lake trip |
| Botswana and Zimbabwe itinerary including Lake Kariba | From $9,990 per person | 10 days | Not supplied | Multi-country safari travelers |
Go2Africa lists a Mana Pools and Lake Kariba tour between $8,670 and $14,050 per person sharing. The listed travel window is January 1 to March 31, 2027. [4] Audley Travel lists a 10-day Botswana and Zimbabwe itinerary from $9,990 per person that includes Lake Kariba. [5]
Lake Kariba package prices change when an itinerary adds private transport, charter flights, full-board meals, park fees, or several nights. A room-only lakeside stay is not equal to a guided safari with transfers. Compare the contents of each quote before comparing the headline price.
Compare Zambia safari packages under $2,000 for 2027 if your trip has a firm budget. A low-cost beach stay and a long safari circuit are different products, so use the package inclusions as your guide.
Jenman Safaris states that Lake Kariba safari packages have 2027 tour availability. [7] That confirms that 2027 planning is active, but it does not give a Zambia-specific beach rate. Request a current quote and ask the operator to hold the exact dates in writing.
One supplied holiday plan begins at £7,850 per person for a 21-day Zambia, Zimbabwe, and Mozambique trip. The research gives this as a multi-country holiday price, not as a Lake Kariba-only rate. Use it as a broad example of how much a long regional itinerary can cost, not as a local room price.
Start with the exact place, dates, and package type. A practical Lake Kariba plan should name the Zambia or Zimbabwe side, list the lodge, state the meals included, and explain how you reach the water. Then compare verified operators and read recent traveler reviews before you pay.
Siavonga is the clearest Zambia-side starting point in the supplied pricing data. The town is linked with Lake Kariba Inns, which has listed nightly rates for two 2026 date ranges. [1][2] Ask whether your chosen property has a sandy shore, a private beach area, boat access, or only a lake view.
Do not assume that a lodge near Lake Kariba sits in Zambia. Kariba Safari Lodge is described as being on the Zimbabwean side. [3] A cross-border route may require extra travel planning, so check passports, transfers, border crossings, and the location shown on your booking confirmation.
A simple stay suits travelers who want rest near the water. A combined itinerary suits travelers who want game viewing and a lake stop. Go2Africa lists Mana Pools and Lake Kariba between $8,670 and $14,050 per person sharing, while Audley lists a 10-day itinerary including Lake Kariba from $9,990 per person. [4][5]
SafariFind can help you compare operators, package details, and traveler feedback in one place. Review a 5-day Kafue National Park itinerary for 2027 if you want to pair a lake break with a Zambia safari rather than choose a multi-country route.
Ask direct questions before booking. Is the beach open to hotel guests? Is swimming allowed? Does the lodge provide towels, shade, life jackets, or a boat guide? The supplied sources confirm a beach area at Kariba Safari Lodge, but they do not confirm conditions at every Lake Kariba property. [3]
Lake Kariba activities can depend on weather, water levels, lodge rules, and local safety advice. Keep the plan flexible. If you want a quiet stay, ask about group size and boat schedules. If you want a safari, ask how long transfers take and whether the price includes park entry.
Zambia offers more than lakeside travel, but the supplied sources do not provide beach counts or verified prices for every destination. You can compare related plans such as Bangweulu Wetlands safari costs for 2027 and Liuwa Plain safari packages. Check the page URL carefully when following the second link, because availability and pricing can change.
For a Victoria Falls add-on, see the Devil's Pool packages guide for 2027. Victoria Falls and Lake Kariba can appear in wider regional trips, but the supplied research does not confirm one standard route or one standard 2027 price.
The supplied research does not identify which town is the cleanest in Zambia. No cited source provides a national cleanliness ranking, a measured town comparison, or a current public sanitation score. Do not treat Siavonga, Lusaka, or another town as the answer without checking an official local source.
Travelers who care about cleanliness should ask practical questions instead. Check recent reviews for the exact hotel and town. Ask about waste collection, water treatment, beach maintenance, room cleaning, and the condition of public areas. These details can vary within the same town.
The question "which course is the best in Zambia" is unclear in this travel context. It may mean a golf course, a university course, or a travel route. The supplied research does not compare courses, so confirm the intended meaning with an official tourism or education source before choosing an answer.
If you mean the best travel route, compare a Lake Kariba stay with a safari route through Kafue, Bangweulu, or another named destination. If you mean a golf course, request current course rankings from Zambia's golf authorities. SafariFind's available research here does not support a reliable winner.
Check the date, country, room plan, and total cost before booking a 2027 Lake Kariba trip. The supplied price examples come from 2026 listings, while the larger tour examples cover 2027 travel. That difference makes a written quote essential.
Lake Kariba safari packages often combine several services, so a cheap headline price can leave out important costs. A clear quote should show each major item. If it does not, ask the operator to break down the price before you compare it with another offer.
SafariFind connects travelers with verified tour operators and authentic reviews. Use the marketplace to request a quote, compare tour operators, and see whether the package details match your planned 2027 dates.
The supplied research does not give a verified number of beaches in Zambia. It supports Lake Kariba as a beach-style inland destination, especially around Siavonga, but travelers should ask a national tourism authority or named lodge for a current beach list.
Yes, Zambia has inland lake beaches, although it has no ocean coastline. Lake Kariba is the clearest documented beach-style destination in this research. Confirm whether your chosen lodge has a sandy shore, a beach area, or only lake access before booking.
Published 2027 prices are not fully available in the supplied research. A Mana Pools and Lake Kariba tour is listed at $8,670 to $14,050 per person sharing, while a 10-day itinerary including Lake Kariba starts at $9,990 per person. [4][5]
Lake Kariba Inns is listed at $169 nightly and $201 total for October 28 to 29, 2026. Another listing shows $195 nightly and $227 total for September 13 to 14, 2026. These are 2026 references, not confirmed 2027 prices. [1][2]
The supplied research does not name the cleanest town in Zambia. It provides no national cleanliness ranking or sanitation score. Check recent hotel reviews and current local information for the specific town you plan to visit.
The question is unclear because "course" could mean a golf course, university course, or travel route. The supplied research does not compare courses. Confirm the meaning and use the relevant official ranking or tourism source.
Compare verified operators on SafariFind, request a written quote, and read authentic traveler reviews before paying. Ask the operator to confirm the lodge location, beach access, meals, transfers, total price, and cancellation terms.
The best documented beach-style destination in Zambia for 2027 is Lake Kariba near Siavonga. Current listings show Lake Kariba Inns at $169 to $195 per night, with selected 2026 totals of $201 to $227. [1][2] Those figures help with planning, but they do not replace a 2027 quote.
Choose a simple lakeside stay if you want rest and water views. Choose a combined itinerary if you want Lake Kariba with Mana Pools or another safari area. Go2Africa lists one combined tour at $8,670 to $14,050 per person sharing, while Audley lists a 10-day itinerary including Lake Kariba from $9,990. [4][5]
Compare verified Zambia safari and Lake Kariba packages on SafariFind, request quotes from verified operators, and read authentic reviews before booking. In 2027, a careful check of location, beach access, and included costs will help you choose the right lakeside trip.
These recommendations use real data from SafariFind, where you can compare operators, browse packages, and read verified traveler reviews before you book.

"On 10.9. until 1.10. In 2023, I went on a trip to Botswana, Zimbabwe and a short visit to Zambia with my clients - friends. I carefully prepared the trip in cooperation with the manager of Cultural Vibes Travel & Tours, Mr. Tongesai Mutematsaka. After arriving in Gaborone we organized a short tour of the city ourselves and met Tongesai in Maun. Tongesai was our driver and guide practically the whole way. We visited the Okavango River Delta and its surroundings (Moremi Reserve, Mokoro boat cruise, flight over the Okavango Delta. This was followed by a visit to the Makgadikgadi Salt Flats, then the Elephant Sands area and in Botswana Chobe National Park with a cruise on the Chobe River. Then we crossed to Zimbabwe, which was the main part of our journey. In the Victoria Falls area, we visited the Monde settlement, took a helicopter flight over Victoria Falls, followed by a cruise on the Zambezi River as part of a visit to the national park of the same name. We also walked past Victoria Falls on the Zimbabwean side and had a Boma dinner in the evening (too much of a "tourist thing"). On the Zambian side of the falls we saw white rhinos in Mosi - oa - Tunya National Park, then visited the museum in Livingstone and walked the Zambian side of the falls. From Victoria Falls, we headed to Hwange National Park, where we had a beautiful program - a safari, and after Hwange, there was also a very interesting program in Matobo National Park (there, among other things, white rhinos (a mother with her little daughter), beautiful rock formations and prehistoric cave drawings. The next place visited was Khami with very interesting buildings, and then we visited the ruins of Great Zimbabwe, which are among the most important world monuments. This was followed by a visit to the Chinhoya Karst and finally the gallery in Harare. I would also like to comment on the provision of services: Accommodation in the hotels was at the standard, expected level, only the service at the Great Zimbabwe Hotel was rather lazy. Accommodation in lodges - very good and the best accommodation was in Iganyana tented camp in Hwange National Park, mainly due to the extraordinary professionalism and very friendly attitude of the staff there towards us, the visitors. I must also highly praise all the local guides we met everywhere, e.g. in Chobe, Hwange and Matobo National Parks. I want to emphasize that this journey is one of the most interesting that I have made around the world. I believe that my clients - friends were also satisfied with the set. Thanks to the travel agency Cultural Vibes Travel & Tours and Mr. Tongesai Mutematsaka. I recommend Cultural Vibes Travel & Tours to anyone considering a trip to Zimbabwe."

"Tongesai was awesome from the start. I knew he was a good tour operator because he answered all of my questions in a timely manner and no question was ever stupid. Everything was just as he said once we arrived and really it was better. We prepared for about a year in advance for this trip and the tour operator was instrumental and making this trip a success. I highly recommend this tour operator to anyone who wants to visit Zimbabwe, Zambia, and Botswana. Give Tongesai a call or email, and you will 100% not be disappointed. I have a very deep understanding of border crossing and transportation challenges in many African countries at this point because of the efforts of the tour operator. This makes my wife and I have very comfortable to approach another visit or look at visiting a different African country."
