Bazaruto Archipelago Beach Packages 2027: 5-Night Prices range from about $1,800 to $16,235 per person in published package data. A five-night Anantara package is listed at R46,022 per person with flights, transfers, a Beach Villa, and full-board meals. Compare inclusions carefully before booking your Mozambique island holiday.
One five-night Bazaruto package costs R46,022 per person, while published 2027 offers range from about $1,800 to $16,235. [1][4]
Bazaruto Archipelago Beach Packages 2027: 5-Night Prices vary because resorts sell very different stays. One offer may cover meals and flights. Another may price only the room. A luxury island villa can therefore look expensive at first, but the package may include most daily costs.
The archipelago sits off the coast of Mozambique. Most five-night trips use Vilanculos as the arrival point. From there, travelers connect with a resort or lodge by road, boat, small aircraft, or helicopter, depending on the island and package.
Bazaruto beach packages suit travelers who want quiet beaches and a slower pace. They also work well for couples who want a private island stay. Families can find longer offers, including a seven-night, eight-day package listed by Mozambique Travel. [3]
This guide focuses on published 2027 prices, what those rates include, and how to compare them. It does not treat every low headline price as equal. A room-only rate and a full-board island package are different products.
Quick answer: A five-night Bazaruto holiday costs about $1,800 to $16,235 per person in published 2027 package data. A listed Anantara package costs R46,022 and includes return Johannesburg flights, transfers, a Beach Villa, and full-board meals. Check flight dates before paying a deposit.
Bazaruto Archipelago beach packages are multi-night holidays that combine island accommodation with selected travel services. The five-night format usually centers on a resort stay, airport transfers, meals, and beach activities. Some offers add return flights, while others begin when you reach Vilanculos.
Bazaruto Archipelago is known for white-sand beaches, island lodges, and water-based trips. Published five-day itineraries include activities such as free windsurfing, catamaran sailing, and kiteboarding. [7] Other package listings focus on island hopping and short helicopter transfers.
A private helicopter transfer from Bazaruto Archipelago to Benguerra Island takes about 15 minutes. [5] That short flight saves time, but it also shows why transfer details matter. Two packages with the same five-night length may offer very different arrival and departure experiences.
The Anantara package listed at R46,022 per person gives a clear example. It includes return flights from Johannesburg to Vilanculos, airline levies, return transfers, five nights in a Beach Villa, and breakfast, lunch, dinner, soft drinks, and bottled water. [4]
Other packages may include only accommodation and selected meals. A Vilanculos Beach Lodge offer is listed for five nights, but travelers should check whether flights, transfers, and activities appear in the final price. [3] Never compare the nightly room cost with a full travel package without checking the inclusions.
Five nights gives you time to settle into an island resort. It also allows room for weather changes and transfer delays. A shorter stay can feel rushed because reaching the islands may require more than one travel step.
Five nights also makes price comparisons easier. You can ask each operator for the same travel dates, room type, meal plan, and transfer service. Then you can compare the real cost instead of comparing marketing headlines.

Five-night Bazaruto packages cost about $1,800 to $16,235 per person in published 2027 package data. [1] Some selected luxury offers show prices near $825 or $846 per person for specific dates. [1] Those lower figures need careful checking because price, dates, room type, and inclusions can differ.
| Name | Price | Duration | Rating | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Published Bazaruto package range | $1,800 to $16,235 per person | About five days | Not stated | Comparing trip budgets |
| Selected luxury offers | About $825 or $846 per person | Dates vary | Not stated | Travelers checking special dates |
| Anantara Bazaruto Island Resort | R46,022 per person | Five nights | Not stated | Full-board luxury stays |
The table shows why one price cannot describe every Bazaruto holiday. The $825 and $846 figures are selected offers, not a guaranteed standard rate. The R46,022 Anantara package includes major travel services, so it should not be compared with a room-only rate.
Expedia lists a Bazaruto Island stay at a nightly price above $1,500 for a selected listing, which shows how quickly luxury accommodation can raise the total. [2] Treat that figure as a property example, not a standard five-night package price.
Need to stay within a set budget? Compare Bazaruto packages by price and inclusions before requesting a quote from a verified SafariFind operator.
Start by choosing your arrival city, travel dates, and island resort. Then ask for one written quote that lists flights, transfers, meals, room type, taxes, and activities. This simple step helps you compare Bazaruto packages without missing large extra costs.
Vilanculos is the main arrival point shown in the supplied package information. The Anantara offer includes return flights from Johannesburg to Vilanculos and return transfers. [4] Other itineraries may use a flight to Vilanculos followed by a lodge transfer or island connection.
The latest published KMIA to Vilanculos flight schedule operates on selected days rather than every day. Travelers must match their dates to the schedule before booking. [6] This is one of the most practical checks for a 2027 trip.
Travelers who begin elsewhere in Beira, Nampula, or Pemba should ask whether the package includes the connection to Vilanculos. The same applies to travelers adding Tofo or Barra before the island stay.
Bazaruto packages are best for couples who want a quiet island base. They also suit families who prefer a resort stay with meals planned in advance. Mozambique Travel lists both a five-night Vilanculos Beach Lodge offer and a separate seven-night family holiday package. [3]
Island stays can also fit a wider Mozambique safari and beach holiday. You could add wildlife time in another region, then finish with five nights by the sea. Options include a trip near Cheringoma Plateau, a stay near Tete, or a longer route through central Mozambique.
Keep your first and last travel days flexible when flight schedules operate on selected days. A tight connection can turn a calm beach break into a stressful transfer day. Ask the operator to show every travel leg in order.
Review the meal plan as closely as the room. Full board can make a high headline price easier to manage. A cheaper room-only deal may cost more after meals, drinks, boat trips, and transfers.
Read real traveler reviews before you decide. SafariFind connects travelers with verified tour operators, so you can compare package details and request a quote based on the same five-night plan.
Check the package inclusions, flight dates, transfer plan, and cancellation rules before booking. A five-night Bazaruto holiday can include flights and every meal, or it can cover accommodation only. The written quote must make that difference clear.
Use the same questions for every operator. Ask for the total cost per person, the currency, and the exact travel dates. Then ask what changes if you choose a different room, transfer, or meal plan.
Source pages show large price differences. Published 2027 package prices range from about $1,800 to $16,235 per person. [1] Selected offers list about $825 or $846 per person for specific dates. [1] These numbers are useful for research, but they are not a promise of availability.
Transfer time matters on an island holiday. A private helicopter transfer from Bazaruto Archipelago to Benguerra Island takes 15 minutes. [5] A different package may use a longer road and boat route. Ask whether the quoted transfer is shared or private.
Families should also ask about child rates, room capacity, and meal choices. Couples may prefer a private transfer or a Beach Villa. Solo travelers should ask whether the operator charges a single supplement.
Bazaruto is a strong choice for a focused beach holiday. However, travelers who want more wildlife can compare it with a national park stay. SafariFind also publishes a Gorongosa package guide for 2027 and a guide to Banhine National Park packages.
A mixed trip needs more planning. Allow enough time between a safari and the island transfer. If you want a beach stay near the capital, compare the costs in this guide to Mozambique beaches near Maputo.
Published five-night Bazaruto package prices range from about $1,800 to $16,235 per person in 2027. Selected luxury offers list about $825 or $846 per person for specific dates. The final cost depends on flights, transfers, room type, meals, and activities. [1]
The five-night Anantara Bazaruto package includes return flights from Johannesburg to Vilanculos, airline levies, return transfers, five nights in a Beach Villa, breakfast, lunch, dinner, soft drinks, and bottled water. The listed price is R46,022 per person. [4]
Most published package information uses Vilanculos as the arrival point. Travelers then connect with their lodge or island resort by road, boat, aircraft, or helicopter. Confirm every transfer before booking, and match your dates to the available flight schedule. [4][6]
Five nights gives travelers time to settle into an island resort and enjoy a relaxed beach stay. It also leaves some room for transfer delays. Families who want a longer break can consider a separate seven-night, eight-day package listed by Mozambique Travel. [3]
Compare flights, airline levies, transfers, room type, meals, drinks, activities, taxes, and cancellation rules. A full-board package can cost more upfront but reduce spending after arrival. A room-only rate may exclude several major trip costs.
SafariFind connects travelers with verified tour operators and authentic traveler reviews. Request a quote from verified Bazaruto operators and compare five-night packages using the same dates and inclusions.
Bazaruto Archipelago beach packages for five nights have a wide 2027 price range. Published examples run from about $1,800 to $16,235 per person, while the listed Anantara offer costs R46,022 with flights, transfers, a Beach Villa, and full-board meals. [1][4]
The best quote is not always the lowest headline price. Choose the offer that clearly lists travel dates, flights, transfers, meals, room type, and cancellation terms. Check the Vilanculos flight schedule before you pay, since selected routes do not operate every day. [6]
For a luxury island stay, compare the Anantara example with other full-board options. For a wider Mozambique trip, combine Bazaruto with a safari or a mainland beach stop. The choice depends on your budget and how much travel you want between stops.
Compare verified safari and beach packages on SafariFind, read authentic reviews, and request a quote for your 2027 dates. As 2027 planning grows, early date checks will give you a clearer view of flights, transfers, and available island rooms.

"This is the second time I am writing a review of my experience of traveling with Kikwetu Cultural Adventures. Last year, Ken Benson and his team organized an 80 day custom made safari through 7 African countries for me with such outstanding logistics and customer service throughout the safari, that this year I decided to turn again to Ken and his team to ask for his professional assistance in organizing a half-around-the-world tour for me. I am 71 years old and decided that it was now or never for me to travel to some parts of the world which always have exerted a lot of attraction over me. I communicated to Ken via e-mail my ideas of where I wanted to go and how long I wanted to stay in each place and asked him to arrange flight connection, ground transportation, accommodation, sightseeing, etc. It turned out to be the safari of a lifetime: 31 days and 7500 km by road through rural and religious Ethiopia. One week in Nairobi with visits to museums and galleries, the Sheldrick’s elephant orphanage, a hike through Hell’s Gate close to Naivasha, Kibera slum and a very enjoyable walking tour through down town Nairobi which is especially recommendable on a Sunday. Flight from Nairobi to Nampula and ground transportation to Nacala, Mozambique. From Nacala, I had arranged for a freighter travel to Singapore with a stop over in Mauritius Island, but with three weeks on my hands while waiting for another freighter to come along and take me back home to Mexico across the Indian and the Pacific Ocean, Ken arranged for a 12 day safari in Indonesia, visiting Central and East Java, Sulawesi and Bali, and one week in Malaysia with highlights in Georgetown, Ipoh and Malacca. My journey lasted 122 days and whenever network connections were available, Ken kept track of my travels and was in contact with me and/or the subcontracted provider to make sure, that everything went according to program and schedule. It was a most gratifying experience and I want to thank Ken, Livingstone, Paul and the rest of Kikwetu Cultural Adventures for having made one more of my dreams come true. There is no doubt in my mind that, if you are interested in a truly custom made safari inside Africa and in neighboring countries, Kikwetu Cultural Adventures is the best choice for getting what you are looking for with regard to advice, support, customer service and price."
