Antsirabe sits on Madagascar's high plateau, yet a 14-day island tour already reaches $4,929 per person in August 2027. [1]
Antsirabe Madagascar Tours 2027: Prices and Day Trips usually fit into a short highland stop or a longer RN7 journey. A focused trip needs a custom quote, while wider Madagascar routes range from €450 for a short Andasibe tour to $4,929 for 14 days in August 2027. Listed 2027 departures run from May through October. [1][2][6]
Antsirabe Madagascar Tours 2027: Prices and Day Trips are useful for travelers building a highland journey through central Madagascar. Antsirabe works well as a short stop, a base for local outings, or one point on the RN7 road. The right choice depends on your route, trip length, and travel style.
Prices need careful reading. A short tour price is not the same as a full island itinerary. A listed 14-day Madagascar tour costs $4,929 per person in August 2027 and $5,126 in September. [1] An eight-day RN7 tour starts at €980 per person. [2] These figures help set a budget, but they do not replace a quote for a custom Antsirabe plan.
SafariFind connects travelers with verified tour operators. You can compare tour plans, read authentic traveler reviews, and ask for a quote that matches your dates. This guide separates short tours from longer routes, then explains how to plan day trips without confusing a local visit with a full Madagascar safari.
Antsirabe Madagascar Tours 2027: Prices and Day Trips cover short visits around Antsirabe and longer journeys that use the city as one stop. A short visit focuses on local sightseeing and nearby activities. A wider route adds national parks, wildlife areas, village visits, and several nights on the road.
Antsirabe is best treated as a flexible stop rather than a single fixed tour product. Travelers can add it to a wider Madagascar itinerary or ask an operator to build a private visit around it. That difference matters because a day trip and a 14-day island tour have very different costs.
A budget benchmark for Madagascar travel is about $240 per person per day. A seven-day trip is estimated at roughly $1,050 in the cited planning data. [1] The figures do not describe one standard Antsirabe package. They give you a starting point for judging quotes.
Antsirabe tours usually make sense for travelers who want a slower highland stop between major parts of a road journey. The wider RN7 route is a clear example. An eight-day RN7 Madagascar tour is advertised from €980 per person. [2] That price gives more context than a daily estimate because it links cost to a set trip length.
The short-tour market also includes routes beyond Antsirabe. A Madagascar tour featuring Andasibe-Mantadia National Park starts at €450 per person. The package includes a 4x4 vehicle, driver, local guide, accommodation, breakfast, and park entrance fees. [2] It shows how included services can change the value of a tour.
Compare Madagascar day-trip and RN7 packages to see which route fits your dates and budget.
A day trip is easier to price when transport, guide time, meals, entry fees, and lodging are clear. A longer itinerary adds more driving, hotel nights, park fees, and route planning. Ask for each item in writing before you compare two offers.
Antsirabe also works as a link between different travel goals. One traveler may want a short highland visit. Another may want a southern route that reaches Ranomafana National Park, Anja Community Reserve, and Isalo. The same city can therefore appear in very different packages.
Antsirabe tour prices in 2027 depend on trip length, group size, and included services. A short Madagascar tour starts at €450 in one listed example, while an eight-day RN7 itinerary starts at €980. Wider journeys cost much more, including $3,885 for a 10-day southern route and $4,929 for 14 days in August. [1][2][7]
| Tour type | Published price | Duration | Useful for |
|---|---|---|---|
| Andasibe-Mantadia tour | From €450 per person | Short stay | A park-focused add-on with vehicle, driver, guide, accommodation, breakfast, and park fees |
| RN7 Madagascar tour | From €980 per person | 8 days | A longer road route through Madagascar |
| Southern Madagascar itinerary | From $3,885 | 10 days | Wildlife viewing, village visits, Ranomafana, Isalo, and Anja Reserve |
| Madagascar tour | $4,929 in August, $5,126 in September | 14 days | A broader island route in 2027 |
| Private-guide tour | $2,938 for 2 to 3 travelers, $2,375 for 4 to 5 travelers | Private itinerary | Small groups seeking a private guide and group-based pricing |
The Andasibe-Mantadia offer starts at €450 per person and includes several core costs. [2] The RN7 offer starts at €980 for eight days. [2] The southern itinerary begins at $3,885 and includes wildlife viewing, village visits, Ranomafana, Isalo, and Anja Reserve. [7]
A private-guide Madagascar tour lists $2,938 per person for two to three travelers and $2,375 for four to five travelers. The same page states that a 12 percent discount applies to bookings made before October 31, 2026. [8] Since the current date is November 2026, you should ask whether any later promotion applies rather than assume the old offer remains active.
A 17-day group tour lists 2027 departures on May 23, June 20, July 11, and August 1. The price is $7,622 per person for double occupancy. [3] An 18-day Essential Madagascar itinerary departing May 7, 2027, costs AUD 16,250. Its single supplement is AUD 2,520. [4]
A 15-day tour departing September 29 to October 13, 2027, costs $4,970 per person for twin sharing. International airfare and applicable taxes are excluded. [6] These examples show why travelers should compare the full trip total, not only a daily rate.
Request a 2027 Antsirabe quote from verified operators and ask for transport, lodging, entry fees, meals, and guide services as separate lines.
The best Antsirabe day trip depends on how much time you have and whether you want a local visit or a wider wildlife route. A one-day plan suits a tight schedule. An RN7 journey suits travelers who want several stops. A private itinerary suits small groups that need control over pace and hotel choice.
A short Antsirabe visit is the simplest option for travelers moving between destinations. Ask an operator to state the number of touring hours, vehicle type, guide service, meals, and any entry fees. That approach prevents a low headline price from hiding key costs.
Day trips also need a clear start and end point. Confirm whether the tour begins in Antsirabe, includes hotel pickup, or links with another road transfer. Small details can change both the price and the time available for sightseeing.
The RN7 route is a strong choice when Antsirabe is one stop within a road journey. An eight-day itinerary starts at €980 per person in one published offer. [2] Use that figure as a comparison point, not as a fixed Antsirabe day-trip price.
The route becomes more useful for travelers who want to connect highland towns with southern parks. A 10-day southern itinerary starts at $3,885 and includes Ranomafana, Isalo, Anja Reserve, wildlife viewing, and village visits. [7] Travelers who want those stops should compare the full route instead of booking separate day trips.
Ranomafana National Park appears in the southern route example. Lodges near Isalo National Park may help travelers who extend the route beyond Antsirabe. The trip becomes a multi-stop safari, so driving time and hotel nights matter as much as park visits.
Isalo National Park safari packages are useful to compare when your plan moves south. The southern example also includes Anja Reserve, which gives travelers a different route from a short Antsirabe stop. [7]
Travelers with more time can combine Antsirabe with east-coast or beach destinations. Andasibe I and Nosy Komba belong to different trip styles. One is a forest and wildlife stop. The other suits travelers adding island time.
Madagascar safari and beach holidays in 2027 can help you judge the cost of adding coastal days. Other SafariFind destination pages cover Nosy Sakatia, Nosy Tanikely Marine Reserve, Nosy Iranja, and Lokobe National Park. These places suit a longer island plan rather than a single Antsirabe day.
Start by choosing the trip shape, then request a detailed quote. Decide whether you want one day in Antsirabe, an eight-day RN7 journey, or a longer southern route. Next, give the operator your dates, group size, room preference, and preferred park stops.
A focused Antsirabe plan needs a focused quote. Ask the operator to price lodging, transport, entry fees, guide time, and optional activities. This makes the offer easier to compare with a packaged RN7 tour.
Published departures give travelers several planning points. The Essential Madagascar itinerary starts May 7, 2027. [4] The 17-day group tour lists departures from May 23 through August 17. [3] The 15-day tour runs September 29 to October 13. [6]
These dates do not create one official best season for every traveler. They show when listed tours operate. Use your preferred dates first, then ask operators which Antsirabe route has space and what transport can be arranged.
Included services can change the real value of a package. The €450 Andasibe-Mantadia example includes a 4x4 vehicle, driver, local guide, accommodation, breakfast, and park entrance fees. [2] Other packages may use different inclusions.
The 15-day September tour excludes international airfare and applicable taxes. [6] The Essential Madagascar itinerary adds a AUD 2,520 single supplement. [4] Those details can change the final cost by a large amount.
SafariFind connects travelers with verified tour operators and authentic reviews. Read reviews for comments about communication, vehicle condition, guide knowledge, hotel quality, and changes to the route. A strong price means little if the plan does not match your needs.
Compare operators by asking each one the same questions. Request the same dates, number of travelers, room type, and route. Then compare the answers line by line. This is slower than choosing the first low price, but it gives you a clearer decision.
Antsirabe Madagascar tours do not have one fixed 2027 price. A short Madagascar tour starts at €450 in one listed example, while an eight-day RN7 tour starts at €980. Wider routes cost $3,885 for 10 days or $4,929 for 14 days in August 2027. [1][2][7]
Antsirabe can be included in a seven-day Madagascar tour, but the final route and price depend on the operator. A cited planning benchmark estimates a seven-day trip at about $1,050. [1] Ask for a custom itinerary that lists Antsirabe, transport, lodging, and entry fees.
The €450 Madagascar tour example includes a 4x4 vehicle, driver, local guide, accommodation, breakfast, and park entrance fees. [2] It focuses on Andasibe-Mantadia rather than representing a standard Antsirabe day trip, so compare its route and inclusions carefully.
Listed 2027 departures run from May 7 through October 13. The dates include a May 7 Essential Madagascar itinerary, group departures from May through August, and a September 29 to October 13 tour. [3][4][6] Operators can confirm space for a custom Antsirabe plan.
International flights are not always included. The 15-day tour priced at $4,970 per person for September 29 to October 13, 2027, excludes international airfare and applicable taxes. [6] Ask for a final total that lists flights, taxes, and supplements separately.
Book through SafariFind by comparing verified tour operators, reading authentic reviews, and requesting a quote for your dates. Give the operator your group size, route, hotel needs, and budget. Then check the full price before you pay a deposit.
Antsirabe Madagascar Tours 2027: Prices and Day Trips range from a short local visit to a full southern Madagascar journey. A short tour can be compared with the €450 Andasibe example or the €980 eight-day RN7 example. [2] A wider trip costs more, with a 10-day southern route from $3,885 and a 14-day route at $4,929 in August 2027. [1][7]
Choose your route before choosing your hotel. Request a focused quote if Antsirabe is your main goal. Check every inclusion, especially airfare, taxes, single supplements, park fees, and guide services.

"From start to finish, this tour was an unforgettable experience. When enquiring about planning this trip ,Tony was very responsive, informative and. answered all our questions as we went along .When my suitcase didn't arrive in Madagascar Tony sorted it for me and negotiated with the airline on my behalf, going above and beyond and was very much appreciated Our guides were all knowledgeable, friendly, and punctual and clearly passionate about what they do, which made the whole trip both fun and informative. The itinerary was perfectly balanced — we saw all the major highlights without ever feeling rushed, and there were plenty of opportunities to take photos, ask questions, and just soak up the atmosphere. The transportation was comfortable, everything ran smoothly and on time, and as it was a private tour we were able to spend as little or as much time at each place as we chose. Every stop had something unique to offer, and the insider stories and local tips really brought the culture to life. It’s rare to find a tour that gets every detail right, but this one truly did, guides were on time , transfers were smooth, everything was flexible to our wishes. Hugh thanks to Tony, Sidney, Princee and Nico. The drivers were all awesome and we always felt safe despite some roads been very African massage- bumpy ! We left with amazing memories, beautiful photos, and a much deeper appreciation for the country. I’d recommend it to anyone looking for an authentic and enjoyable experience. We would do it again in a heartbeat!"
"I highly recommend the Friendly Tour Guide Mada. The best cars I have seen on Madagascar, very clean, comfortable and modern. Drivers and tour guide are professionals! Very polite and helpful. Except 3 spots written in the description, expect visit to a very nice European restaurant with an amazing view! We are very happy, that we found this reliable tour operator. Thank you for everything ☺️"
"We have recently finished a 10 day tour of Madagascar in April 2025 using the operator “Madagascar Natural Tours” from start to finish it almost felt too good to be true, I have never met any one else from Australia who has been to Madagascar so we were very hesitant in whether it would be safe and had no idea how to organise a holiday there or what to expect. Harilala was extremely professional and communicative the entire way and answered every single (too many) questions of ours and made us feel comfortable and excited. He planned our itinerary just perfectly we listed a couple of things we had wanted to see - baobab avenue, lemurs and Nosy Be. He organised our whole itinerary, accomodation and flights for us so that it flowed seamlessly. He provided options in accomodation as we were seeking honeymoon style resorts. The hotels that he booked were beautiful, clean, great food and lovely staff! We had a few internal flights in our itinerary and it was so nice stepping off the plane and trusting that there would be a guide there waiting for us to get us to our hotel. The few times during our stay we had a question regarding our tour, Harilala would reply to our messages almost immediately and paid very careful attention to ensure we were happy and getting the most out of our tour. Using Madagascar Natural Tours took all stress out of the holiday / planning and allowed us to just show up and make memories of a lifetime! I would highly recommend this company to anybody curious to explore Madagascar! Particularly if you do not speak French, we struggled with the language barrier however all guides had amazing English which was such a relief. We can’t wait to come back in a few years time!!"
"We entrusted Harilala with our Madagascar tour, explaining what we wanted to see and visit. What can I say? He exceeded our expectations! Besides the wonderful tour, Solo and Fidele, our tour leaders, made the difference. We spent 20 days in Madagascar, and they flew by; everything was fantastic. We'll definitely be back to see the southernmost part of the country."
